They definitely play with a bit of quality. We certainly didn't. Damien Duff mercilessly trolled by rival fans over bizarre attempt to go incognito while serving ban 'Even if you are a bit tired, a bit flat, drag yourself along, give yourself a talking-to. 'It's my energy that has driven the players for four years. I've offered them the dressingroom for them to lead this show, this steam train. They've never really done it. Galway's 'lack of leadership' questioned after All-Ireland exit to Tipperary

Galway's leadership has been questioned by Liam Sheedy following their All-Ireland quarter-final defeat to Tipperary on Saturday. Tipp led for the majority of the clash in Limerick and despite a late second Tribesmen goal, the result was never really in doubt as the Premier County marched into the final four in the first weekend of July. Speaking on RTÉ, Sheedy said: 'They had (chances) but, overall that was a very, very limp Galway performance. They seemed to have bought into the four-year plan because I'm not sure anyone believed they could win something in the first year based on what I've seen. "I mean they were two points on 40 minutes, and on 58 minutes, they were 12 points down. There was a strong breeze in the second half, they scored five points from play, five points from the 40th minute and the 70th minute, they got the consolation goal near the end.' Sheedy added that Galway manager Micheál Donoghue has work to do in his second stint in charge of the county. 'They looked to me like a team that really lacks leadership. Micheál has got a big job on his hands and they've got to get the leaders in central positions in that team because I didn't see any leadership today,' Sheedy continued. 'I actually thought the team threw in the towel late on when they felt the game was gone. I didn't really see what I would expect. The last 15 times they've met in the championship, there's been one score in the game, Galway have won four of the last five. That was well below Galway's level of performance I felt.' Tipperary joined Dublin in reaching the semi-finals following their shock win over Limerick. Tipp, Dublin, Cork and Kilkenny will battle it out for a place in this year's final in a fortnight.
