John Greig, voted the Greatest Ever Ranger in 1999, posed for a picture after enjoying a meal at Mr Singh's India.
He posed with Mr Singh in a picture posted on the restaurant's Facebook.
The caption said: "Such a pleasure having John Greig dine with us!
"We captured a pitch-perfect moment with Papa Signh and John - absolute legends in our eyes.
"A truly unforgettable evening!"
Greig played 498 games for the club in a career spanning 17 years from 1961-1978.
He won five Scottish titles, six Scottish Cups, four League Cups and the Uefa Cup Winner's Cup in 1972.
He later had a five-year spell as manager at Ibrox when he added another four cups to his haul, and is a Hall of Famer too.
Meanwhile, a new contender has emerged in the race to become new Gers manager.
A report from the BBC says that Ibrox chiefs have spoken to a European manager who is currently out of work.
Roger Hannah and Robert Grieve debate if Davide Ancelotti or Russell Martin should be the next Rangers manager in the Coffee Club
Ex-Feyenoord manager Brian Priske is believed to have held talks with the club's hierarchy.
It's understood that no decision has yet been made, but that Priske is amongst the candidates being considered for the position.

‘You don't see it at Rangers or Celtic' – Aberdeen hero slams Dundee Utd pitch invasion which led to MacKenzie incident

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) ABERDEEN legend Willie Miller reckons Dundee Utd and other Scottish teams must do more to stop fans invading the pitch. The Pittodrie hero is at pains to point out that he's NOT excusing the Dons supporter who left Jack MacKenzie blooded and bruised when he threw a chair onto the Tannadice playing surface on the last day of the season. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 Jack MacKenzie was left blooded and bruised Credit: Andrew Barr 2 Dundee Utd fans invade the pitch Credit: Andrew Barr But speaking to SPFL chief operating officer Calum Beattie on BBC Radio Scotland Sportsound, Miller said: "Can I suggest something and I don't want Dundee United fans to have a go at me fiercely. "For me, pitch invasions should be banned, they're not allowed. "I was there. I'm sitting there and United have done great, they've qualified for Europe. "But the gates just opened, nobody tried to stop the fans coming on the pitch. "Now I'm not making any excuse for the person who threw the seat. "It hit Jack MacKenzie and it could have been much worse. But at the same time nobody tried to stop the whole pitch being covered with Dundee Utd fans. "Now, the Aberdeen players have every right to go to their fans and have a celebration or some sort of recognition that the fans have made the journey down in their numbers. "They made their way over to where the Aberdeen players are going to celebrate with their fans. "There's no condoning it [the seat throwing] but that's what happened. "For me if you stop that pitch invasion that doesn't happen. "You don't see it at Pittodrie, you don't see it at Ibrox, you don't see it at Celtic Park. Why are there some clubs that just seem to accept it? "Other clubs as well seem to be accepting it. I would just like some sort of campaign NOT to accept it." While admitting "it is difficult", Beattie replied: "For what it's worth I agree with that". Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page

Rangers Dor Turgemen deal in doubt over Middle East conflict

Turgeman has been on the radar at Ibrox and some reports even suggested a deal to bring him from Maccabi Tel Aviv could be close. Russell Martin was believed to have made the 21-year-old a top target after taking the job and he is also well known to 49ers Enterprises having been on Leeds' radar previously. A new striker is high on the agenda at Ibrox with last season's top scorer Cyriel Dessers looking to be on the way out to AEK Athens. Talks had been opened over Turgeman but may now be grinding to a halt, because of the rising tensions between Israel and Iran. Read more: Sport 5 report that Maccabi are now thinking it may be unwise to sell on key players as they will find it tough to attract replacements from overseas. The report suggests the striker "certainly" won't be sold prior to the Champions League qualifiers against Cypriots Pafos next month. And they may also decide to significantly up the asking price for any of their players who are attracting interest, to make selling up more palatable. Rangers may need to move on to alternative targets with Danilo and Hamza Igamane the only striking options left if Dessers is sold.
