Woman charged with murder of her film director sister in ‘Rolex' case
The woman accused of murdering an award-winning film director found stabbed to death at home is her sister.
Nancy Pexton, 69, has been charged with murdering Jennifer Abbott, 70, at her apartment in Camden, north London, on June 10.
Pexton, from Westminster, was due to appear at Highbury magistrates' court on Friday afternoon.
Abbott, 70, who worked under the professional name of Sarah Steinberg, had directed films, written books and been photographed alongside celebrities including Keanu Reeves, Dan Aykroyd, Paris Hilton and Kate Hudson.

Her body was discovered on June 13 by her niece and had been wrapped in a blanket on her bed, with tape placed over her mouth.
Officers said an expensive diamond Rolex was missing.
Neighbours had last seen Abbott walking her dog last Tuesday, three days before her body was discovered.

A post-mortem examination, which took place on Sunday, gave the cause of death as sharp force trauma.
Detective Inspector Barry Hart, of the Metropolitan Police, said: 'Our deepest sympathies are with the victim's loved ones who are being supported by specialist officers at this time.
'Locals can expect to see an increased police presence in the area while we conduct our enquiries.'

28 Years Later fans say they're WILDLY distracted by zombie's surprising appendage
Fans of a popular movie series said they were constantly being distracted from the sequel film's plot because one of the zombies kept flaunting his surprisingly large penis. 28 Years Later, which came out Friday, is the follow-up to 28 Days Later, a 2002 apocalypse film starring Cillian Murphy. The premise is that Murphy's character, a bicycle courier, wakes up 28 days after a highly contagious virus was released, causing society in Britain to collapse. The sequel, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Ralph Fiennes, focused on a small group of survivors of the so-called 'Rage Virus' 28 years after the initial outbreak. Throughout the 2025 film, the group is repeatedly pursued by the Alpha, the noticeably hung zombie that has caught the attention of people on social media. The Alpha is presumably the leader of the infected and is bigger, stronger and obviously more well-endowed than his counterparts. Dr. Kelson, one of the survivors played by Fiennes, calls him Samson, a reference to the biblical hero of the same name known for his extraordinary strength and his battles against the Philistines. The Alpha certainly lives up to his name, as he is able to withstand barrages of arrows and pull off the heads of humans with their spines still attached. But the Alpha's power in that department was largely ignored by social media users, nearly all of whom were thoroughly focused on his downstairs anatomy. Many threw around the joke that the film should have been called 28 Inches Later. One commenter pointed out that the constant full frontal male nudity was only possible because the zombies were wearing no clothes. According to the movie's logic, they were nude because the clothes they had been wearing had degraded in the decades since they were infected. 'The infected in 28 years later don't wear clothes and it's one infected who got like a 10 incher,' they wrote. Another person compared the Alpha to Jason Momoa in looks, though the famous actor wasn't actually in the movie. 'Went to 28 years later. Wasn't expecting to see a well hung Jason Momoa zombie throughout the whole thing lmao,' they wrote. Someone else began to write what seemed like a legitimate review of the movie, only to mention the penis once more. '28 Years Later is a hauntingly beautiful, deeply affecting evolution of the franchise. There's horror and dread, but also strangely stunning moments of beauty and a giant zombie dong. Well worth the wait,' the person wrote. But the Alpha's power in that department was largely ignored by social media users, nearly all of whom were thoroughly focused on his downstairs anatomy Behind the scenes, it was a nightmare to film the movie, said Director Danny Boyle. That's because with all the extras playing nude zombies, the film crew needed to take extra care to protect the film's child star, Alfie Williams. Boyle told PEOPLE: 'I mean, if you're recently infected [with the zombie virus], you'd have some clothes, but if you've been infected for a long time, the clothes would just disintegrate with the way that you behave. 'We never knew [about rules governing nudity on set when there's a child present] going in, it was a nightmare.' In order to still film scenes featuring naked zombies while adhering to the safeguarding rules, Boyle revealed the actors had to wear prosthetics. 'Interestingly, because there was a 12-year-old boy on set, you're not allowed for anybody to be naked, not really naked, so they look naked, but it's all prosthetics,' he shared. 'So it's like: ''Oh my God,'' so we had to make everybody prosthetic genitals.' Boyle said he was keen to push boundaries with the elements of nudity and gore in the film, and he's glad studio bosses were supportive of his plans. So far, 28 Years Later has been well received, with an 89 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Moment fare dodger tells rail inspectors ‘don't touch me' in tense clash after ‘falling £1.30 short for his ticket'
THIS is the tense moment a fare dodger told ticket inspectors to not touch him after falling short of being able to afford to travel. The passenger was confronted by revenue protection inspectors at Weybridge station in Surrey after using a discounted ticket for under 15-year-olds, despite being older. 9 9 9 South Western Railway inspectors were alerted after the ticket - which provides half-price travel for children aged five to 15 compared to a full adult fare - pinged at the gateline. The incredible moment was captured by film crews for the latest episode of Channel 5's Fare Evaders: At War with the Law. Shocking footage shows how the young fare dodger refuses to present his ticket after being asked to do so by inspectors. When asked if his ticket was a child ticket by revenue protection officers Sharon and Carlos, the fare dodger brazenly admits to having a ticket but rejects multiple requests to show it. As the tense moment begins to boil over, the young fare dodger exclaims: "You can't actually physically touch me." Then, he begins to make his way along the walkway over the tracks at the station, heading towards one of the platforms. Despite other officers stepping in to try and help stop the cheat, he appears insistent to make it to his train without showing a valid ticket. Finally, officers manage to block him at the top of the staircase of one platform, confronting him continuously to present his ticket. At one point, an exasperated ticket checker asks: "Why don't you just show us your ticket?", to which the fare dodger replies: "Because I don't need to." Despite his continued protest, the young fare dodger eventually gives in, admitting he had bought a child's ticket, despite being over the age of 15. Top Tory Robert Jenrick becomes 'bobby on the beat' as he confronts fare-dodgers on the Tube Sharon explained that the traveller had been short of buying the adult fare by around £1.30 and had therefore opted to buy the cheaper child ticket instead. As a result, the fare dodger was issued with an "unpaid fare notice", which is the lowest penalty enforced in these situations. It means the young passenger was able to travel without a ticket on the day but he would need to pay the fine within 21 days. Sharon explained: "A colleague's been really fair with him. "He's issued an unpaid fare notice, which is the lowest penalty we can give and it's just the price of the ticket that he should have bought." However, if he failed to pay it within the time frame, he would have faced the risk of prosecution. 9 9 9 The show explained that there had been a "huge rise in passengers trying to get away with using half-price tickets they're not entitled to". Another inspector filmed for the show said how sometimes he and other staff are abused verbally by travellers. He said: "Sometimes we get bad language towards us, they will just push through and then we've got to stop them. "We do get that level of abuse from them. And these are kids that are between 14 and 16 and they're effing and jeffing at us. "And I'm like, well, hang on." He added: "You do get people who are unhappy about being spoken to. "No one wants trouble. You hope that everyone is going to be nice, but not everyone is the same, are they? "But then you get customers who do actually appreciate it as well." Just last month, South Western Railway revealed it had recovered a total of £3.4 million from revenue protection work last year. Unpaid fares cost the railway nearly £240 million each year - with South Western Railway estimating roughly 4.6 per cent of users of its network travel without a valid ticket. A recent poll by YouGov found 68 per cent disapproved of deliberate fare evasion, adding they believed it was a serious problem that should be penalised. 9 9 9
