Malaysians urged to evacuate Iran immediately
PETALING JAYA: Malaysians in Iran have been told to evacuate immediately as the Israel-Iran conflict continues to escalate.
'All Malaysians in Iran are strongly advised to leave the country by any available means,' said Wisma Putra in a statement.
It added that the situation remains highly volatile and could deteriorate without warning.
The Foreign Affairs Ministry stated that the Malaysian Embassy in Teheran is closely monitoring the security situation in the country.
'At present, all Malaysians are reported to be safe. They have been instructed to leave the country without further delay.
'The embassy will continue to provide the necessary consular assistance to facilitate their departures,' Wisma Putra said.

Palestine Embassy Condemns Gaza Humanitarian Foundation
KUALA LUMPUR, June 21 (Bernama) -- The Palestine Embassy in Malaysia has condemned the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), describing the aid distribution initiative as a veiled operation that further endangered innocent aid seekers in the enclave. First Secretary of Embassy Amjad Khamaysa said the US and Israel-backed entity undermined genuine humanitarian efforts and worsen the oppression of Palestinians suffering under the regime's brutality. "They (Israel) don't allow humanitarian access to Gaza and they are establishing this Gaza Humanitarian institution. Amjad said the embassy will continue to engage with the public to raise awareness and solidarity against the regime's ongoing genocide on Palestine and its people through various channels, including through cooperation with Malaysian civil societies and the digital sphere. Over 55,000 people in Gaza – mostly women and children – have been killed since Israel launched its aggression on October 7, 2023.

Malaysians Show Solidarity With Palestinians At Himpunan 10K Untukmu Palestin Rally
KOTA BHARU, June 21 (Bernama) -- Thousands of Malaysians showed up at the grounds of Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium here tonight in solidarity with Palestinians at the 'Himpunan 10K Malam Untukmu Palestin' rally. Kelantan Youth, Sports, Non-governmental Organisation (NGO) and Community Unity Committee chairman Zamakhshari Muhammad said that the rally allowed Malaysians to come together and state their stand against the cruelty of the Israel regime against the Palestinian people in Gaza. 'The rally also creates awareness for people in Kelantan and Malaysia that the Palestinian issue is a universal humanitarian issue that should be championed by all,' he told Bernama at the rally tonight.
