'Lovelies. Well. Some not great news. I've been diagnosed with stage 4 Mantle Cell Lymphoma,' she wrote on Instagram.
'I won't sugar-coat it: it's rough. But I'm hopeful. I'm being lovingly cared for by friends and family, my medical team is brilliant, and I've never felt more held by the people around me.'
The Kath & Kim star confirmed that she has started one of the best treatments available and will be receiving world-class care in Melbourne.
'I'll be lying very low while my immune system takes a hammering, so if you see me out and about—don't hug me, kiss me, or breathe anywhere near me! Wave enthusiastically from a safe distance and know I love you madly,' she continued.
'This is an obscure cancer and was only discovered incidentally via a breast screen where they found my lymph nodes were up. TBH, I've been feeling pretty ratshit for ages. So I asked for extra bloods and - voila!
'For now, just know I'm in good hands, good spirits—but I reserve my yuman right to be a cranky old moll. Love you all, Mags'.

Puppy love: royals post photo for William's birthday
Prince William's family have celebrated his birthday with a sweet puppy photograph. A new image, taken by William's wife Kate was posted on Instagram to mark his 43rd birthday on Saturday. It shows William sitting in a garden surrounded by the family dog, Cocker spaniel Orla and three of her four recently born puppies. The caption - signed by Catherine and their children Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte - says: "Happy birthday! Love C, G, C, L, Orla and the puppies!" Orla was a gift to the couple from Catherine's brother, James Middleton, in 2020, shortly after the death of their previous dog Lupo. William's father King Charles and stepmother Queen Camilla also marked the birthday with a message on the official account of the Royal Family. They shared a picture of William sitting on a stone wall as he visited farmers and food producers on the Duchy of Cornwall in May, with the message: "Happy Birthday to The Prince of Wales!"

NEWS OF THE WEEK: Rumer Willis shares update on dad Bruce Willis' dementia battle
She wrote in a heart-wrenching Instagram post to mark Father's Day on Sunday, 'Today is hard, I feel a deep ache in my chest to talk to you and tell you everything I'm doing and what's going on in my life. To hug you and ask you about life and your stories and struggles and successes. I wish I asked you more questions while you could still tell me about it all. But I know you wouldn't want me to be sad today, so I'll try to just be grateful, reminding myself how lucky I am that you're my dad..."
