Promising review:" The best baby distractor EVER! Every person with a child must have this toy! I had about five tucked in various places in case one got lost. My son loved them from basically birth and sometimes it would distract him for hours of noncrying! (heaven for a new mother) Of course in the beginning you have to keep pushing the button for them but compared to swinging him in his car seat that was easy! Then when he got older, he would spend entire car rides just playing with this one toy. I give it to everyone I know who has a baby." — NH-Mommy
Get it from Amazon for $8.88 (available in two styles).
3. A pair of ~handy~ faucet extenders if your child is old enough to use the sink but not quite tall enough to reach the faucet and wash their hands. Instead of hoisting 'em up, combine an extender with a step stool for a match made in parenting heaven!

Amazon
Promising review:" OUTSTANDING! I am a young grandmother in my 50s and TIRED of breaking my nails on the car seat fasteners. Both my granddaughter and I LOVE this gadget. She keeps it tucked inside the pocket of her car seat. I never have to look for it. When we make it to our destination, I ask her to get it ready. In SECONDS the car seat is unbuckled. What a godsend! Truly, if we had been in an accident or other emergency, it would have taken me several attempts to free my granddaughter. I consider this a danger! This little device makes car seats enjoyable again. The color makes it easy to find and it fits logically right where it's supposed to...no need to carry instructions. ChooMee is a small biz based in Northern California, owned by a mom, that specializes in innovative products that solve everyday feeding challenges.
Promising review: " These are amazing! I bought two sets of them so I can keep some in our diaper bag (or in case we lose one). We use these every single day for our 12-month-old with her yogurt (Gogo squeeze) and her fruit and veggie pouches! Seriously, love them. We previously had yogurt/fruit all over because she would squeeze them. My husband accidentally stepped on the pouch with this on, and it still didn't squeeze out! Once your baby figures it out (ours did quickly), it's a game changer. I tried the pouch holders with the handles, but she just swung it around, and it still spilled out. This is what you want!" — Shem Slater

It's been so much easier to make a batch of waffle mix and store it in the fridge and get several days use out of it. Now I'm not cracking eggs and using a bunch of bowls and utensils every day. I haven't had any problems with the bottle leaking. So far I think the convenience has been worth the price." — CaitM

My kids are 6 and 8, and I know they could be learning to use regular knives but it makes me so nervous!! Amazon, www.amazon.com
It's made for ages 6–36 months and can support up to 37 pounds.
Promising review:" My only regret is that we didn't buy this for our first child. We were so tired of losing space in our house to all the kid and baby things. We had a great high chair [and] loved it because we could move it from room to room. However, we have a smaller house, and it just always seemed to be in the way. This fixed the problem 100%. It's a minimalist dream. I love the color options because it goes with our home aesthetic now. Do not worry, it is very stable. I've never had a worry once that it would fall. Extremely secure and easy to move. We have it on our bar counter but can easily move it to our dining table. And if you like to eat out, this is the best option. It even had its own carrying bag built into the bottom of the seat. The tray is dishwasher safe, which I love. The seat says to wipe down or hand wash. I don't wipe it down on a regular basis, but for that really worked-in food or if your kid accidentally gets sick in it, I have thrown it in the washing machine many times. (Without the metal pieces.) Just make sure you buckle the straps together so they don't get twisted in the wash. It's beautiful; it's minimal. It's safe and secure. Even my toddler likes to try to sit in it once in a while." — Thick Witch Green House

Promising review:" I saw this product on TikTok and knew I wanted to try it. I LOOOOOVE this product! I hate trying to use my rearview mirror to look into her mirror to make sure she's okay. The quality of the video is great for the price, and I can easily see if my infant has spit up or I can see her mouth to shove a paci in if needed. I can see details like if her eyes are open or closed. The night vision isn't too bad but not as detailed but you can see enough. But overall for the price, I would buy this product again hands-down." — Michael Giblin

Promising reviews:" Best invention ever. I am able to proactively monitor my children's fever. Before this product, I always feared when they had a fever that maybe they had been feverish too long and it escaped my notice. This product gives me peace of mind because now at a glance I can tell if and when they are spiking." — sneeziesmurf
"We had a stressful day of trying to keep our 3-year-old's fever down and he was exhausted. I had these in the cabinet and stuck one on at bedtime. It immediately lit up N, which matched the thermometer. While putting him to bed I saw it go to 99 so when I checked on him in 30 minutes I brought the thermometer '99.3.' We used it throughout the night to monitor whether or not we should wake him for more medicine. I think of it as a peace of mind sticker. He loves stickers and got a big kick out of it. He's had it on about 13 hours now with no complaints. There's a shiny N there now, and this paranoid mama still checks with a thermometer occasionally to make sure it's accurate." — Nateric
Get an eight-pack from Amazon for $7.92.

It folds down easily and sets up easily — the design is brilliant. It was actually so easy that I watched the 30-second setup video just to be sure I got it right lol. My 8-year-old son got on it too and it held up. We live in an apartment so this is something that she can climb on safely without taking up a ton of space. Love this product!!" — jenna

Watch this parent share why this sleep trainer is one of their "best parenting hacks" in this TikTok.
Promising review:" My 2-year-old started getting up at 6:30 instead of 7:30 and was ready for the day. I saw this on TikTok, so I ordered it and explained to him how if Mella is red, we have to sleep, and when Mella turns green, it's time to play. The first night, he sat up a couple of times in the night and looked at it and laid back down. We've been using it for almost a week, and he stays in bed until it's green without any crying or complaining, so it fixed my problem so fast! You do have to toggle the night light on to red if you want it in all night. You could choose other colors, too, but red and green worked well since he has a car seat with red and green stop lights, so easy connection. Anyway, I highly recommend it! He loves to check on Mella during the day and see if it's asleep." — Mpt2

Now there is no more stepping on Legos on the floor or finding Legos in every box and drawer in the house. Now I can sit on the sofa rather than the floor when my kids want me to help them build. My active toddler, who absolutely hates being strapped into his stroller, loves that it allows him to sit upright and steer the handles (while I push him) making him feel like he's in control and going on an adventure. It has made trips to the park/mall/zoo so much easier because it is lighter than our stroller *and* folds up tiny taking up minimal trunk space. (We also took it on a flight recently and were amazed at how easily it fit in the airplane overhead bin!) My fave feature is how seamlessly it steers. Unlike other trikes, you don't need to awkwardly force it to change directions. In fact, my 5-year-old has no trouble navigating my 2-year-old around the park. The best part? My little one is so happy riding around on this thing that he's had barely any meltdowns when we're out and about. I'd say that's a huge win!"

Huda declared 'I'm a mommy' on 'Love Island USA.' The internet reacted in the best way.
The clip has been viewed more than 22 million times on TikTok alone. "I'm a mommy." Pet moms, nannies and parents of actual human children are all taking to social media to declare that statement, thanks to a now-viral clip from the latest season of "Love Island USA." On the show's June 12 episode, Season 7 cast member Huda Mustafa tells fellow islander Nic Vansteenberghe that she has a 4-year-old daughter. Rather than simply saying that she has a daughter, Mustafa described herself as "a mommy," which seemingly confused Vansteenberghe. The chat, which was subsequently posted to the official "Love Island USA" TikTok, has since gone viral, garnering more than 22 million views and two million likes as of June 23. What is the 'I'm a mommy' meme from? Mustafa, who is a single mother of a 4-year-old, told the other girl islanders but not the guys about her daughter. After telling Jeremiah Brown, who she was coupled up with at the time, that she has a daughter, Mustafa chose to confide in Vansteenberghe. Huda is mommy to her daughter… Mamacita to Nic. 👶 #LoveIslandUSA @hudabubbaaa @Nicolas Vansteenberghe During the conversation, Vansteenberghe appeared to slowly process the information, leading to the now-viral exchange. "I'm a mommy," Mustafa told Vansteenberghe. "Mommy," he replied. "I'm a mom," she reiterated. "Mamacita," he said. "No, I'm a mommy," she said for a third time. "A mom of what? A dog?" he asked. "I have a daughter," she finally said. "Like in real life?" he asked. "Yeah," she said. "Like a daughter, like a real baby?" he asked. "Yeah, like a human child," she said. Internet is having fun with the 'I'm a mommy' clip People were quick to react to the conversation on social media. "Bye why is he so lost," one person said. Another said, "'mom of what' is fryingggg me." When mother meets mother. 😍 #LoveIslandUSA #HotGirlSummer The audio of the conversation has been used on more than 3,000 TikTok videos since. While some — like Demi Lovato and Megan Thee Stallion — have lip-synced over the clip to make new versions, others have taken their own spin on the audio. Pet owners, pregnant women and nannies have declared themselves mommies. The conversation has also been recreated for cakes, songs and artwork. Even Megan Thee Stallion, who entered the villa to host a challenge on the June 19 episode, said the conversation was her favorite moment of the season so far. "Why would Nic be like, 'Mommy? Mamacita?'" she said. "I was like, 'Friend, you good?'" Video shows Canadian country singer Josh Ross calling U.S. ‘the best' in the world
TORONTO - Canadian country singer Josh Ross is drawing jeers for an online video in which he can be seen carrying a U.S. flag onstage and calling the country the 'best' in the world. Footage of the Burlington, Ont., native shows comments he made at the Tailgate N' Tallboys music festival on June 13 in Bloomington, Ind., just weeks before he's set to perform Ottawa's Canada Day celebrations. In the video, Ross, who lives in Nashville, takes a moment to tell the audience he's from Canada. He says he has relocated to 'the best ... country in the world' before leading the crowd in a chant of 'U.S.A! U.S.A!' The clip posted on TikTok drew criticism from some commenters who said his pro-American stance ran against the 'Elbows Up' movement and the ongoing political conflict with U.S. president Donald Trump. Representatives for Ross did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The 'Drunk Right Now (Na Na Na)' singer is booked as one of the performers for Ottawa's Canada Day celebrations organized by Heritage Canada. Earlier this year at the Juno Awards, Ross seemed to take a political middle ground that was out of step with many of his fellow Canadians at the overtly patriotic show. While accepting the win for country album of the year, he said he was proud of being Canadian, but suggested it was on his fellow citizens to find common ground with the U.S. 'I think it's time to get back to our Canadian roots and remember that friends are better than enemies,' he said. This report by The Canadian Press was first published June 23, 2025. Note to readers:This is a corrected story. A previous version carried a headline with a typo in 'Josh.'

"They Always Do Black Girls Hair Dirty": Antonia Gentry Had To "Clear Up Some Things" About Her Hair On "Ginny & Georgia," And Here's Why It Has Caught The Attention Of Nearly 14 Million People
Antonia Gentry stars as Ginny in Netflix's "Ginny & Georgia." Season three was released earlier this month. Since its release, the show has been hugely popular, but one detail fans have increasingly noticed is the change in Ginny's hair each season — and it is striking up viral conversations on TikTok. So, Antonia decided to make her own TikTok explaining the whole situation: "Hello from my hotel room. Hi everyone. Thank you so much for watching season three of "Ginny & Georgia." I hope you're enjoying it. I wanted to pop on here for a second and clear up a couple things. I've been seeing some very funny things circulating about my hair, so I just wanted to clear up some stuff," she starts. "My hair is not naturally straight. I don't know who started that, or why anyone would believe that — I'm half Black. I didn't get a perm to play Ginny, my hair is naturally curly. My mom has a beautiful afro. My dad has a wave to his head. So, I have tight curls. And also, I understand that, Ginny's hair from seasons one, two, and three is very, very different. So let me just explain..." "Season one, that is my natural hair. It's my natural hair. Season was a little bit of a challenge for some people to work with my hair. So, you know, it was mostly my hair, but we had a little bit of heat damage in there. It randomly got bleached for no reason — and four inches got cut off." (Here is her hair in season one.) "So, when we went into season two, I was like, 'Hey, my hair got pretty damaged in season one. Can I get a wig?' And they were like, 'All right, bet. We'll give you a wig.' And I was like, 'All right, bet I'm getting a wig.' There were two wigs for season two, and those two wigs were curled very interestingly, and it didn't really work. It wasn't working." "So for like, half of season two, I'm in this wig that doesn't really match my actual hair, it has no movement. And so we stopped using the wig, but in order for us to have it, it was like a continuity thing. They took a wand to my hair and curled each and every section of my hair to match the curl pattern of the wig. So my hair was put through heat every single day to match the pattern of the wig, which we ended up not even using the entire time because it didn't look right. So that's why there's some interesting hair choices for Ginny in season two." "But season three, it's my natural hair. It's all my hair, except for the extensions, of course. And Ginny has long hair, and I had someone who did such an amazing job. We didn't use any heat, we took care of it, we kept it moving, and I didn't have to worry or stress out at any moment in the hair trailer. Shout out, Stacy. So, yeah, my favorite hair moment for Ginny is season three, because that's the healthiest my hair has ever been filming the show." (This is what Ginny's hair looks like this season.) "I hope that that clears up the mystery of my hair. It's not naturally straight. I don't have a perm, a curly perm. Obviously, I have a little bit of heat damage. My hair is styled all the time for work, and also, just personally, I like to switch it up." "When I was a kid, I had very tight, healthy curls — very full hair, and now I have a bit of heat damage, and my hair is a little bit thinner. We're working on it. Take your vitamins... But I don't have straight hair. I got curly hair. Okay, love y'all, bye." So Kat allegedly asked if she could just wear her natural hair instead, but was told no. Anyway, people were bummed to find out that a streaming service as big as Netflix let this happen: And overall, it is pretty apparent people prefer her natural hair (being styled by someone fit to style it): Lastly, we couldn't help but notice Ginny in braids is a look many are hoping for in season four — and even Antonia recently admitted she is considering boho knottless braids: Whatever hairstyle Ginny has next season, we know Antonia will rock we are so happy she now seems to have a hairstylist fit to do her hair!
