As Woodkid put it, Kojima had said: 'I'm going to be very honest, we have been testing the game with players and the results are too good. They like it too much. That means something is wrong; we have to change something.' According to Woodkid, Kojima was very concerned about the finished game having too much mainstream appeal. Worried that these positive reactions were actually indicators of an underlying blandness to the narrative, Kojima actively worked to make the game more polarizing in response. He believed that if players grew to appreciate the story over a prolonged period instead of immediately liking what they saw, the game would end up far more impactful. Woodkid considers Death Stranding 2 a balancing act Woodkid has called Death Stranding 2 both mainstream and radical at the same time, and he believes that is a tricky balance to achieve. As Woodkid put it, artists frequently compromise their creative vision to appeal to the masses, but Kojima's an exception. Hideo Kojima has often worn his Hollywood influences on his sleeve, but Woodkid ended his interview by claiming that just like the Metal Gear franchise, Death Stranding would also prove to be massively impactful, both in gaming and in Hollywood.

Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding being turned into anime movie; lands Emmy-nominated screenwriter
Video game creator Hideo Kojima 's hit title Death Stranding is being turned into an animated movie, with Aaron Guzikowski signed on to write the screenplay. The Raised by Wolves creator will craft an original story set in the same universe as the 2019 post-apocalyptic adventure game. Kojima Productions and animation studio Line Mileage announced the project this week. The animated feature will target adult audiences, similar to recent animated adaptations like the Predator anthology series on Hulu and the upcoming John Wick prequel. "I love the world of Death Stranding. It's so creatively freeing, so beautifully dark and yet hopeful," Guzikowski said in a statement. The writer, known for creating HBO's sci-fi series Raised by Wolves and penning films like Prisoners, expressed excitement about creating new stories in Kojima's "fertile, mind-bending universe." Line Mileage brings solid credentials to the project. AI in law: Students need to sharpen critical assessment skills to make best use of technology
Generative AI is reshaping the legal industry. AI deployment has changed workflows by streamlining research, drafting, and due diligence while raising important questions around ethics, bias, and the future of legal education. 'Students need to be trained to take up jobs at firms that are keeping up with technological advancements. They need to be taught practical use of AI Tools, like training in legal research, drafting, and knowledge management using AI platforms. They need to sharpen their critical assessment skills to verify AI-generated content, check legal citations, and ensure jurisdictional relevance', says Naval Satarawala Chopra, Partner, SAM. Mr. Chopra says that AI will provide space to lawyers to focus on complex, analytical, and strategic aspects of their work. 'Some routine roles may evolve or diminish, but new opportunities will emerge for those who can harness technology responsibly and creatively. The future legal professional will need to be both technologically adept and deeply grounded in the principles of law and ethics', he says. AI in curriculum For the introduction of AI in law curriculum, institutes need to provide students with practical, hands-on exposure to AI tools. 'Students should be taught not only how to use such technology but also how to critically assess its outputs, verify legal references, and understand the limitations and risks associated with AI-generated content. The protocols also stress data security and confidentiality. Only firm-approved and licensed AI platforms are used, and sensitive client data is never input into AI tools unless strict security standards are met (such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 certification). The use of personal or unlicensed AI accounts for client work is strictly prohibited. The protocols also mandate that all AI usage is logged and monitored to ensure compliance with internal policies, data privacy laws, and client-specific requirements. For bias and accuracy checks, lawyers are trained to identify and mitigate potential biases or inaccuracies in AI outputs, including the risk of 'hallucinated' legal citations.
