Eurovision winner 'confirmed' minutes into show as fans spot major clue
Eurovision kicked off it's 69th annual contest tonight - and fans think they already know who's going to be taking home the title just moments after the performances kicked off
The Eurovision Song Contest kicked off it's 69th annual contest tonight after a dramatic build up with two semi-finals earlier in the week. However, fans think they've already 'worked out' who will win less than a hour into the four hour live show.
The show kicked off with a high-energy performance from Norway as Kyle Alessandro – Lighter, as Luxembourg's Laura Thorn kicked off with her 'trippy' visuals with her song La Poupée Monte Le Son. Things went up a notch when Estonia's Tommy Cash performed his fan favourite song - Espresso Macchiato.
Tommy earned his place during the first semi-final, and now fans think he's going to take it all the way. The rapper and singer had the whole crowd on their feet with his epic dance moves, but some had a moment to pause and take to X, formerly known as Twitter, to hail him the winner already.
"Espresso Macchiato is the clear winner #eurovision," said one, while a second agreed: "That's the winner. #Eurovision".
A third was also in agreement, commenting: "Espresso macchiato..... There's your winner!"
Fans will have to wait until the end of the night to see if Tommy really does take home the crowd. However, they won't have to wait until then to vote, with the lines already open.
Voting opened before anyone kicked off their performance, with fans being able to vote via phone up to 20 times. However, it does cost 15p a vote but fans can save a few pennies by voting online through the app and via www.esc.vote.
After Tommy, Israel's Yuval Raphael took to the stage, performing her power ballad New Day Will Rise.
After her performance, UK commentator Graham Norton seemingly confirmed the EBU has employed fake applause to drown out any boos during her time on stage.
"Not sure what you're hearing at home, slightly mixed response here in the hall," the Irish host commented as Yuval wrapped things up - a nod to the reports Eurovision bosses are meddling with what makes it to TV screens across Europe.
Elsewhere, fans are hopeful for a performance from Celine Dion after her video message during the first semi-final.
Adding fuel to the fire, Graham mentioned the fact the My Heart Will Go On singer is watching backstage but didn't rule out a little performance from the Eurovision legend.

Once again, it was the games that brought all the drama, as the Islanders played a brutal game of spin the bottle. The Islanders were swapping partners left, right, and centre as they were given a series of difficult questions to answer. Helena ruffled feathers when she landed on a dare and Dejon dared her to kiss the person that she'd chose to recouple with, leading to her kissing new bombshell Harrison. Love Island fans were left in shock after Shae issued a brutal comment to Helena as the Islanders played a game of Spin the Bottle during Sunday night's episode The drama continued on tonight's Love Island as another game revealed some home truths. In the latest episode, the Islanders sat down for a brutal game of Spin The Bottle - and of course, drama followed. One Islander who stole the show, however, was Shae. The rules were simple, whoever the bottle landed on, had to take a card which read either truth or dare. It was then left up to the Islander's to get creative and think about a truth or dare for that specific person. When it got to Shae's turn, he was asked to go around the firepit and deliver one word to describe each of his fellow Islanders. He called Shakira cute, while calling his former partner Yasmin fake. However, it was Helena who got the most brutal comment. "Mug," he said, referring to her back and forth with Harry, who has continued to flirt with Yasmin and Shakira, even sharing three kisses with Yasmin on the Hideaway Terrace. However, it looked like Helena saw the funny side of the comment, saying she "agrees" with his brutal words. "I think every given opportunity Harry has mugged me off left, right and centre," she said. Love Island fans have been left baffled with one Islanders lack of airtime on the ITV2 show - as they question whether she's gone 'missing' from the villa after two weeks The drama is heating up in Love Island, as the Islanders heads continue to turn. On Friday night, the Islanders and fans were left in shock when Emily and Toni engaged in a fiery debate. Tonight, it was Emily and Shakira who clashed. However, fans have been left baffled as they claim one Islander has 'gone missing' from the show amid all the drama. OG girl Alima first coupled up with Blue - but it wasn't until bombshell Remell walked in that she formed a connection. Shakira and Harry coupled up on Day 2, causing Sophie to be dumped from the villa. However, they called things off when Harry got flirty with Helena, and Shakira went back to her Day 1 partner, Ben. Now, with things over officially with Ben, will Shakira and Harry attend to their unfinished business?
