Hamas denies assassination of the head of its Political Bureau

Hamas issued a statement on Sunday evening denying reports of an assassination attempt on the head of Hamas's political bureau in Gaza and the head of the negotiating delegation, Khalil al-Hayya.
The movement said in a brief statement: 'The Tabayyun Channel denies the rumors circulating on some social media groups about an assassination attempt on the head of Hamas in Gaza Strip, our brother and Mujahid Dr. Khalil al-Hayya, in the Qatari capital, Doha.'
It called on media outlets and social media users to verify the accuracy of their reporting and not to be swayed by Israeli media.

N. Korea Condemns U.S. Strikes on Iran

The official added, 'If the conflict continues, the Trump administration may have to seek Congress's authorization,' noting that President Trump carried out the strikes under his executive powers and in accordance with the U.S. Constitution. In a statement issued on Sunday following a high-level meeting attended by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, President Abdul Latif Rashid, and Speaker of Parliament Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, the Iraqi leadership denounced the aggression. According to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), King Abdullah emphasized the urgent need to intensify international diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving a comprehensive de-escalation. He warned of the consequences of continued escalation and rising tensions in the region, firmly stating that Jordan will not be a battlefield for any conflict and will not allow its security, stability, or the safety of its citizens to be compromised.
