CID fans have a reason to celebrate! The much-loved crime drama show has brought back the beloved character Shraddha Musale in the forensic department. As the actress reprises her role as Dr Tarika in season 2, she shared her excitement about returning to the show. Shraddha also gave some insights about the surprise elements in the upcoming episodes.
During an interaction with ETimes, Shraddha shared what made her join the show so late. She revealed, 'CID had already begun a few months ago, and I had always wanted to return. But I was quite busy with my startup and was constantly travelling to Dubai for the same. Once I got some breathing space and returned, things just aligned. It felt natural, like the right time, and it just happened."
Revealing what fans can expect in the upcoming episodes, she said, 'Fans will surely get to see more of Inspector Abhijeet and Dr Tarika. In fact, we have already shot a few scenes together in the first couple of episodes. I hope the audience enjoys watching us together as much as we enjoy working together. That chemistry is something even we cherish."
On being asked if her character is any different from the first season that audience remember, she elaborated, 'Dr Tarika is still the beloved character that people know and remember, but she has definitely evolved. She has pursued higher studies and has become a specialist in her field. So this time, she returns as a senior and more experienced forensic expert."
Spilling beans about a surprise element, Shraddha stated, 'Dr Tarika has been in another profession too, before returning to the CID bureau. It is the same Tarika, but with more maturity, depth, and surprises. What had me excited was the opportunity of working with the same cast and crew. That bond, that comfort, and that sense of belonging we share, it's rare."
Expressing her happiness of returning to the show, she said, 'Walking back into that environment felt like home, and of course, stepping back into Tarika's shoes made it even more special."
Talking about CID 2, the latest season is winning hearts with its gripping storyline.
Besides Shraddha, the star cast includes Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, Aditya Srivastava, Hrishikesh Pandey, Narendra Gupta, and Janvi Chheda.

Viral: Woman finds a working phone in her takeout food; here's what she did next

Image credits: X/@nypost What is the best surprise you would expect when ordering a takeout? That it tastes better than you imagined, is in more quantity than you ordered or has some little freebie dishes with it? Well, an Adelaide woman got the surprise of her life when she found a shocking object at the bottom of her takeout box. In a TikTok going viral on the internet, Shraddha, a woman shared that she had ordered a hotpot from a takeaway shop the previous week. She ate most of the meal at the restaurant but took some home to eat later. When she was picking at the bottom of the container, she noticed something strange. 'I was picking at the bottom, and the container was feeling a little bit weird,' she said in the video. 'So, I kept digging, and at the bottom of the container was a working phone.' She showed the phone that she picked out from a bowl of hot soup and while it may have been working it was already showing a temperature warning. 'I rang the place, and I was like 'Hey I found a phone in my hotpot' and they were like 'Oh yeah we did have a phone missing from one of our chefs',' she continued. 'They were apologizing, and I was like 'no worries, I'll bring it back'.' Not only did the woman return the phone but she also chose to not name the restaurant, saying, 'Everyone makes mistakes.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch vàng CFDs với mức chênh lệch giá thấp nhất IC Markets Đăng ký Undo A free meal for her kindness Explaining the incident she revealed that apparently the chef had put his phone down in the takeaway container and since it was black, it blended with the surface, thus getting lost inside the hotpot. For her kindness in asking about the phone and returning it, Shraddha received $50 from the restaurant where she had originally paid $35 for the hotpot. Additionally, the chef asked her to inform when she visits again and receive a free hotpot. The woman also added that her eating the hotpot at home was a complete coincidence as she had earlier thought of eating it the next day but felt hungry upon reaching home. Had she followed through and microwaved the meal, the story could have been completely different, she said. Social media reactions While Shraddha's reaction to the incident may have been calm and composed, the netizens felt the complete opposite. Many added how the restaurant got off lightly and that she should have asked them for a "lifetime of free hotpot." Another X user was concerned about the cleanliness of the food with the phone being inside it, writing, "That is literally so gross. He puts the phone down everywhere. Holds it to his face. Touches it after he touches everything Imagine the germs and bacteria she ate 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮"

Munawar Faruqui feels AI is killing creativity: It will make the future generation lethargic

In an age where technology is rapidly reshaping our lives, the conversation around creativity and innovation has taken a new turn. Munnawar Faruqui, content creator-actor-singer, raises a thought-provoking concern: Is AI a double-edged sword? Munnawar, who is currently keeping his fans engaged with the release of 'First Copy,' a crime-thriller revolving around a piracy empire, recently sat down with ETimes for a candid cup of conversation. During the same time, he shared his unfiltered view on how privacy impacts the entertainment business. He also expressed his views on AI being a bigger threat. Here are the excerpts from the conversation.. Content can be good, bad, or ugly, but piracy is simply wrong Piracy has been a sad reality of the entertainment industry. Earlier, it was limited to pirated CDs; now it has taken the shape of a digital monster. And with every passing year, its impact hollows the industry from the roots. Elaborating on the same with an example, Munnawar shares, 'It's like if one production spends, there are 200-300 people that are connected with, and everyone earns from it. It's not that they don't get money if there is piracy, but it becomes difficult for the production houses to bear something like this next time. ' 'Continuously working on that production cost, with the same effort, becomes difficult; so, it is like everyone is at a loss if there is piracy. And you said it correctly that piracy is the sad reality, and that is why we want to make good content that travels, even if it's good or bad, piracy should not be done,' he added. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like New Container Houses Indonesia (Prices May Surprise You) Container House | Search Ads Search Now Undo First Copy trailer: Munawar Faruqui, Inaamulhaq nd Meiyang Chang Starrer First Copy Official Trailer According to Munnawar, the audience should act responsibly to bring about a change. 'The audience should take responsibility for this. If they want to see entertainment, then they have to make some efforts.' Is AI a bigger threat? 'I think it will make the future generation lethargic,' responds Munnawar while speaking on the subject of AI's not-so-subtle takeover. 'It is already happening with the market; like, now you can bring things directly to your home. Earlier, you used to go to the market and walk, which was a good thing. Similarly, if AI is doing all your work, it will make you lethargic,' says the actor. He continues, 'The young generation, the small children, are making all their projects on AI. This kills your creativity, and your thinking power is restricted. You will never go to the second option because you are writing one line and getting the poster or the story. So, I think it is bad for us. The people who don't want to work themselves or the people who think it is easier, are using AI.' He added, 'I don't like the way AI is because it kills creativity. I have not yet used it so far, don't even know what the software is.' On the contrary, when the 'First Copy' director Farhan P. Zamma shared a different opinion, Munnawar concluded by saying, 'As Farhan bhai said, 'we have to upgrade by time' - but this is something I don't want to upgrade. It will affect me if I use it.'
