British reality star Kim Woodburn dead at 83
Kim Woodburn, the British reality star best known for 'How Clean Is Your House?', has died. She was 83.
Woodburn passed away Monday after a short illness, her manager confirmed to BBC News.
'Kim was an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person,' the manager said. 'Her husband Peter is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate.'

The statement continued, 'We are so proud of the amazing things Kim achieved in her life and career. We kindly ask that Kim's husband and close friends are given the time and privacy they need to grieve.'
Woodburn's husband, Peter, mourned her death in a post on her Instagram account Tuesday.

'My wonderful, beautiful, Kim passed away last night. God bless, my love, xx xx,' Peter wrote, alongside photos of the late star over the years.

Woodburn's cause of death has not been confirmed.
In March, a message on Woodburn's Instagram mentioned that she was dealing with 'a health problem.'

'We regret to tell you that Kim is unable to record any further videos for the foreseeable due to a health problem,' the post read, adding, 'Kim sends her love to you all.'

Woodburn, known as the 'Queen of Clean,' was born in Hampshire but moved to Liverpool when she was 16 and became a live-in cleaner.

On the BBC show 'Heaven and Earth' in 2008, Woodburn opened up about her difficult childhood including being sent to boarding school.
'I found the nuns extremely cruel, my sister and I were there. We were very young, we were all very badly treated,' she said, per BBC. 'They beat you, they were very cold to you. I was about three or four [when she went]. There was no kindness at all.'

When she was in her 20s, Woodburn got pregnant and gave birth to a stillborn son who she buried in a park in Liverpool.
Woodburn later rose to fame on the Channel 4 series 'How Clean Is Your House?'
She co-presented the series alongside Aggie Mackenzie from 2003 to 2009. During each episode, the pair did a deep cleaning of someone's house and shared their own tips for tidying up.

Woodburn went on to appear on the UK version of 'Celebrity Big Brother' in 2017. She notoriously fell out with 'Loose Women' star Colleen Nolan on the show.
In 2018, the pair came to blows again when Woodburn came onto the ITV talk show. Woodburn called Nolan a 'lying trash' and a 'piece of filth' before she stormed off the set.

Woodburn was married twice. Her first marriage was to Kenneth Davies which ended in divorce in 1975.
Four years later, she married Peter and they lived together in Nantwich, Cheshire.

Brooklyn Mirage ticket holders left in dark after rescheduled shows as status of venue is in limbo
It's unclear when The Brooklyn Mirage will reopen as frustrated ticket holders are left without answers from the venue and a slate of scheduled concerts is fast approaching. The East Williamsburg open-air concert hall — which has been haunted by the deaths of two ravers — hasn't been given the OK from the city to reopen after it closed for extensive renovations and blew past its planned relaunch on May 1. But the venue suddenly announced it had cancelled its summer reopening after failing to secure the proper city permits, even cancelling a sold-out show just before a DJ was set to hit the stage. Advertisement The last update the venue provided announced shows through Memorial Day weekend would be cancelled and rescheduled for July and August, according to an Instagram post. 5 Brooklyn Mirage ticket holders have grown frustrated at the venue's radio silence since its last Memorial Day announcement about cancelled shows. Though the Brooklyn Mirage is opening later than anticipated, we are making great progress towards opening our doors… We are working diligently with the City of New York to make sure we meet all regulations and requirements,' the May 20 announcement said. I had a friend flying from Florida to go see Excision, which they said they would be open that week, and they were not. So he had tickets, flights, and hotels, and I felt bad,' he said. They told me that they didn't have any information, though, that they'd post something on social media and to call back the next week,' she said. 5 A Temporary Place of Assembly certificate, which allows 75 or more people to gather indoors or 200 or more people to gather outdoors, has been requested for the venue's outdoor area. We were still able to hang out, but now she was out the money for her plane ticket,' she said. 'We just want transparency. The venue could've been more open about what they were doing. They knew they had problems with permits. They could've been more explicit. They didn't have to waste anybody's time,' Christina said. The venue is still undergoing permit problems despite shows on the calendar for the remainder of June. The venue has been awarded the TPA certificate for The Great Hall, an eating and drinking establishment on The Brooklyn Mirage's property, according to the department. Wyatt had previously assured people the venue would be '100 percent' ready for the May 1 reopening in an interview with the outlet just days before.
