Papa John's is elevating the pizza experience with the global launch of its latest innovation: the all-new Croissant Pizza. This indulgent new offering pairs the delicate, flaky texture of a buttery croissant with the bold flavours of Papa John's pizza – bringing the brand's 'Better Ingredients. Better Pizza.' promise to life through craft, quality, and innovation.
Paying homage to the classic pastry, the Croissant Pizza delivers a crisp, light, and layered bite through a buttery braided, gloriously flaky crust. Customers can personalize their pizza with a choice of toppings for a flavour-packed bite. From last Thursday, the Croissant Pizza is available in Qatar for dine-in, collection and Delivery.

Qatar, Brazil ink pact to boost cooperation in radio spectrum management

Tribune News Network Doha The State of Qatar, represented by the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA), and the Federative Republic of Brazil, represented by the National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the field of radio spectrum management. The MoU was signed on the opening day of the ITU Council 2025 meetings in Geneva by Engineer Ahmad Abdulla AlMuslemani, president of CRA, and Carlos Manuel Baigorri, president of ANATEL. The agreement reflects both parties' commitment to fostering collaboration for the efficient use of radio spectrum and the advancement of radio-communication services. It also underscores their shared ambition to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT). Under the MoU, Qatar and Brazil will collaborate to manage the radio spectrum environment, jointly address radio spectrum monitoring—including satellite-based monitoring—and share expertise in education and training to support human resource development in radio spectrum management. The MoU also includes cooperation in international conferences related to spectrum management hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and other relevant organisations. It facilitates the exchange of knowledge and best practices to improve programme management of special events. This strategic partnership aligns with the shared goals of both countries to foster innovation, respond to evolving technological landscapes, and build international cooperation in the telecommunications sector.

QF's Mukhayamna camp opens up a summer of learning & fun for students

Tribune News Network Doha Students from schools across Qatar are being given the opportunity to learn, explore, create and have fun across the summer, as the return of Qatar Foundation's Mukhaymna summer camp takes education beyond the classroom. The annual camp at Education City, organised by Qatar Foundation's (QF) Pre-University Education, will offer young learners the chance to develop their skills in areas ranging from sports and computing to business and leadership, as its wide range of activities and experiences unfold from July 5 to August 11. Mukhayamna's 2025 edition will also see the introduction of a new programme called 'Kafo', which will take place at QF's Qatar Academy Al Wakra and combine learning opportunities in life skills, sports, and leadership development, all rooted in nurturing Islamic values and positive behaviours. Registration for Mukhayamna is now open. This year's programmes include: Leadership Camp (Boys): July 5-10;Leadership Camp (Girls): July 20-24; Sports Camp (Girls and Boys): July 6-17; Quantum Computing Camp: July 6-10; Cybersecurity Camp: July 13-17; Business Camp: July 20-24; Skills Camp (Boys, 7-13 years): July 27 –August 11; Skills Camp (Girls, 7-13 years): July 27 –August 11; Skills Camp (Boys and Girls, 5-6 years): July 27 –August 11; Kafo Summer Program (Boys): July 5-21; and Kafo Summer Program (Girls): July 6-22. Mukhayamna's sports camp offers activities such as padel, swimming and spinning, giving students the opportunity to build their physical fitness while also learning about the importance of teamwork through friendly competition, while its quantum computing and cybersecurity programmes teach basic principles as well as providing participants with hands-on exposure to technology and its role in solving real-world challenges. Through Mukhayamna's business camp, students will gain an introduction to entrepreneurship and financial literacy, and work in teams to tackle business challenges and pitch ideas. Its skills camp will focus on sustainability and environmental awareness, including practical recycling workshops, interactive waste reduction challenges, and developing eco-friendly projects, while cultivating skills such as communication, problem-solving, and decision-making. In 2024, the expanded seven-week Mukhayamna camp brought together almost 600 students from schools within and beyond QF.

Tribune News Network Doha The Indian Cultural Centre (ICC), under the aegis of the Embassy of India, presented the latest edition of its weekly cultural celebration, 'ICC Wednesday Fiesta', on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at ICC Ashoka Hall. The evening brought together a captivating blend of music, dance, and traditional art forms, presented by various ICC-associated organisations (AOs) and arts centres across Qatar. The event opened with a warm welcome address by ICC Secretary Afsal Abdul Majeed, followed by a presidential address by ICC President AP Manikantan, who highlighted the importance of such cultural platforms in preserving and promoting India's artistic heritage abroad. A special highlight of the evening was the felicitation of Usha Patil, president of Maharashtra Mandal Qatar, and Aparna Sharath, president of Billawas Qatar, for their remarkable contributions to the Indian community in Qatar. Their recognition underscored the significant role of community leaders in fostering unity and cultural vibrancy. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Rakesh Wagh, ICC head of HR, admin & consular, appreciating all participants, performers, and attendees for making the evening a success. The event was gracefully anchored by Sirisha, adding charm and rhythm to the proceedings. The occasion witnessed the presence of ICC Vice President Shantanu Deshpande, ICC General Secretary Abraham K Joseph, members of the ICC managing committee, presidents of various ICC AOs, and senior Indian community leaders, reflecting the unity and enthusiasm that define ICC's culturalinitiatives.
