Andy Cohen responds to backlash over 'rude' interview questions about plastic surgery
Andy Cohen has defended himself against criticism for asking what 'work' his Real Housewives guests have had done.
The Watch What Happens Live host, 56, who also serves as an executive producer for the hit Bravo franchise, is notorious for asking his Housewife interviewees about the cosmetic surgeries and procedures they've undergone.
'@Andy the millions of women who watch these franchises are tired of you asking women 'what work they had done,'' an X/Twitter user recently criticized. 'This isn't 2009 anymore and women can do whatever they want to their face/bodies. It's time to retire this question. It's rude and does 0 for the viewers #RHONY.'
Cohen responded directly to the critic, explaining that ''what work have you done' remains at the top of the list of viewer questions every season, every franchise.'
'The HW have unabashedly let us into their beauty regimes since day one; It's a big part of the series DNA,' he added.
The day before, Cohen was called out by a different user, who wrote that they were 'patiently waiting for Andy to share all the work he's done on his body over the years.'
'I had botox for the first time 3 weeks ago. been talking about it on the radio a lot. after all i ask the women in the last 18 years of Housewives, i will be transparent if i ever do anything else!' he replied.
During a 2018 episode of his talk show, Cohen was joined by the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast, where he introduced a new segment called 'Plastic Perjury.'
'I don't think any of my guests would admit to being two-faced. They all just have one face that they may or may not have renovated over the years,' he told the audience, explaining the rules.
'I'm going to shout out some cosmetic procedures,' he said. 'If you admit to undergoing any, you will be rewarded by someone who is also very good-looking, giving you something as useful as you are to hold, youthful as you are to hold: puppies from Vanderpump Dogs.'
Cohen went on to list several procedures, including facelifts, butt implants, shin implants, eye lifts, lip augmentations and botox.
A majority of the cast refrained from raising their hands to most of the list until it came to botox, and then every single person raised their hand.
'Everybody!' the presenter exclaimed.

Madonna slammed by Hamilton star for 'using iPad during Broadway performance'
Hamilton star Anthony Ramos has claimed Madonna spent a whole performance of the Broadway show on her iPad, and has told her 'you don't have to stay here' Twister's star Anthony Ramos has claimed that Madonna caused quite the stir during her visit to a Hamilton show on Broadway. The 33-year-old actor, who played the original roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton, recounted the incident when the pop icon attended a performance, and his co-stars also made the same claim about the Queen of Pop. Ramos, appearing on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live last Thursday, recalled: "The most terrifying was Madonna with her iPad in her face. She was like this [shining a light] the whole time. "I was like, 'Damn, shorty. If you're not enjoying it that much, you know the door is right there. You don't have to stay here.'". Lin-Manuel Miranda, the musical's mastermind who also starred as Alexander Hamilton, seemed to reference the episode involving The Material Girl in a now-erased tweet back in April 2015. He had written: "Tonight was the first time I asked stage management NOT to allow a celebrity (who was texting all through Act 2) backstage. #noselfieforyou." Madonna's representative, however, countered these allegations, telling Us Weekly: "It's not true. She was invited backstage four different times. She texted post-show when they were doing their fundraising pitch. Madonna had already made a generous donation." Jonathan Groff, who portrayed King George in the production, didn't hold back either, bluntly claiming "that b**** was on her phone." He noted at the time: "You couldn't miss it from the stage. It was a black void of the audience in front of us and her face there perfectly lit by the light of her iPhone through three-quarters of the show." Back in April 2015, Playbill claimed Queen of Pop, Madonna, attended the show at The Public Theatre, but wasn't invited backstage after it was wrapped. Ramos recently reunited with his Hamilton castmates, including Daveed Diggs, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jonathan Groff, Christopher Jackson, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Leslie Odom, Jr., Okieriete Onaodowan, and Phillipa Soo, at the Tony Awards. To mark the musical's 10th anniversary, the cast performed a medley of tracks including Non-Stop, My Shot, History Has Its Eyes on You and The Room Where It Happens. Hamilton received a whopping 16 nominations at the 70th Tony Awards and won 11 awards. After starring in Hamilton, Ramos appeared in Miranda's 2021 musical, In The Heights. He also starred in 2024's Twisters with Daisy Edgar Jones and Glen Powell.

What Teddi Mellencamp's boyfriend thinks of her stage 4 cancer battle after being slammed for dating
Teddi Mellencamp gushed over her new boyfriend after pushing back at trolls who have criticized her for dating while undergoing cancer treatment. During an appearance on iHeart Radio's Diamond in the Rough podcast on Friday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum spoke about the boundaries she has set while still undergoing treatment for her Stage 4 cancer. 'I've had to make it clear to people I've dated [that] this is where I am. This is what I've got,' she explained about her limitations of time and energy. 'If it's enough for you, great. If it's not enough, I won't be upset. I mean, yes, my feelings will probably be hurting, but this is all I got to give. And if that's enough, great.' The influencer, 43, shares three children, Slate, 12, Cruz, 10 and Dove, five, with her estranged husband Edwin Arroyave, 48. As for her current guy, with whom she has been seen, but has not publicly identified, she revealed, 'I haven't had to say any of those things, but he is really sweet and kind.' Referencing a recent date, she said, 'He came and picked us up this week from the [horse] show, and he could tell that I was down. He sat and watched, like, one million hours of horse show rounds. He's just a good guy, she said. 'I know I deserve it, and it's really nice,' Mellencamp added. However, if the new guy decides it's all too much for him, the social media star said she would understand. 'If for some reason you realize you need somebody that doesn't have three kids, 1 million activities to do, 87 podcasts, you want more time than I'm able to give? I understand,' she told her cohost Erika Jayne. Mellencamp said if that were the case she told him, 'I would not be mad at you for not even a second.' However, it seems her new friend is in for the long haul. 'He's like, 'I am willing to do anything to be able to spend time with you."' When it comes to her cancer battle, the influencer had some hopeful news and some disappointing news to share on her own Two Ts in a Pod podcast with her friend and co-host Tamara Judge. Following her most recent MRI, doctors found 'the tumors have not grown at all, if anything they're shrinking, I'm in the one-percent range of improvement.' 'If for some reason you realize you need somebody that doesn't have three kids, 1 million activities to do, 87 podcasts, you want more time than I'm able to give? I understand,' she told her cohost Erika Jayne The Certified Wellness coach has been undergoing immunotherapy to treat her cancer which she has revealed often leave her felling tired and run down, following a series of radiation treatments. Doctors removed four tumors from her brain in February, but others remained in her brain and lungs. In spite of the improvements, Mellencamp said the doctors told her that she still has stage 4 cancer. All though she took the news with grace, the personal trainer said she was hoping they would tell her something else. 'I think I believe I'm going to go in and they're gonna say "wow, it's a miracle and you no longer have any cancer."'

Teresa Giudice has on-air MELTDOWN when quizzed about tax bill nightmare in excruciating interview
Teresa Giudice had an on-air meltdown when she was quizzed on her tax woes during a painfully awkward interview on Friday, The Real Housewives star, 52, who along with husband Luis Ruelas was hit with millions in tax liens this year, hung up after she was asked why she 'didn't pay her taxes for years' in an incendiary moment. The interview on Chicago 's WGN News began pleasantly enough as the star was asked if she would be appearing in The Real Housewives of] New Jersey reboot, to which she responded: 'I hope. I'm the OG, yes. So we'll see what happens. You'll have to ask Bravo for that.' However, her smile soon faded as host Larry Potash quipped: 'How is it that a family doesn't pay their taxes for years?' Giudice - who served 11 months in prison for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud in 2015 - asked who he was referring to, and when Potash responded 'your family' her reaction was swift. A visibly raging Giudice then said: 'Okay, I'm done now' before fumbling to hang up her phone. In March it was revealed that reality star Giudice and Ruelas, 49, had over $3 million in New Jersey state tax liens placed on them. Tax liens are a legal claim made on a person's assets if they fail or refuse to fully pay their taxes. If they fail to pay the amount of the judgment, the government would be able to seize their assets. According to the New Jersey Courts website, Teresa owes $303,889.20 in unpaid taxes in a judgement that was entered on March 20. Luis owes several times that amount, after a judgment saying he owes $2,569,842.06 was entered on March 6. That amount is on top of an earlier lien issued on December 12, 2024, for $163,523.94 in unpaid taxes. Teresa's former husband Joe Giudice was jailed for 41 months after he plead guilty in 2014 to 41 counts of bank, mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud. He also admitted to not filing a tax return from 2004 through 2008. However, her smile soon faded as host Larry Potash quipped: 'How is it that a family doesn't pay their taxes for years?' Giudice - who served 11 months in prison for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud in 2015 - asked who he was referring to, and when Potash responded 'your family' her reaction was swift She hung up as the baffled hosts laughed Following his sentence, Joe was forced to move to Italy ahead of deportation hearings. Teresa was ultimately sentenced to 15 months in federal prison.
