Iranian state media said air defense systems were activated Thursday against "hostile targets" over the capital, Tehran, a week into a war triggered by major Israeli attacks.
"Iran's air defenses confront hostile targets in northern Tehran," said the official news agency IRNA without elaborating. Another news agency, Mehr, gave the same report.
