ILIA TOPURIA has seemingly performed yet another U-turn on Paddy Pimblett.
The pair almost came to blows at the UFC London fighter hotel in March 2022 after Topuria confronted the submission specialist over comments he made about his fellow Georgians.

A public war of words has played out over the last three years, although the duo seemingly put their differences aside with a brief embrace at the most recent UFC London weigh-ins.
But Topuria, who fights for the vacant lightweight title at UFC 317 next weekend, insists he still has immense disdain for 'The Baddy'.
The 28-year-old said of Pimblett in an interview with ESPN Deportes: 'He's a hypocrite.
"I'll tell you, I remember we shared a press conference once, and he said something like, 'I'm fighting in the main card, and you're on the prelims,' some kind of nonsense.

"And now I'm thinking, I have two belts. Where are you?
"Who the f**k is Paddy Pimblett right now and why would he deserve to fight me right now?"
Former featherweight king Topuria has already earmarked Pimblett, who picked up the biggest win of his career against Michael Chandler in April, as his next opponent.
He said: "Honestly, if I could choose a fight, I would fight him because I hate him. He's a pain in the ass.

"I'd love to give that fight to the fans, because for a long time, I believe that in the UFC, you haven't seen a real fight.

Ilia Topuria Trains For UFC 317 Clash With Charles Oliveira
"I know what's going to happen, and it won't be good for him."
Topuria has the small matter of beating former 155lbs titleholder and fan favourite Charles Oliveira before he can think about settling the score with Pimblett.
But 'El Matador' believes he'll make light work of the Brazilian, saying: "Charles is a great fighter.
"I'd say he's a legendary fighter, one of the few still active in the UFC.
"But the truth is that his style fits perfectly with mine to put him to sleep in the first round.
"Because he has no mobility, he doesn't move."

But supporters of the club, founded in 1871, seemed to be more concerned about the look of the shirts — modelled on Instagram by new signing Paudie O'Connor and by supporters in a club video. One football fan added: 'Looks like my nan's wallpaper in the 70s.' Others said the jersey resembled a festive sweater, with one quipping: 'What in the Christmas kit is this?' But in a jokey reference to classier tablewear collections, Tom argued: 'If some trendy team like Venezia or Versailles came out with this, it would be lauded as one of the best shirts of the season. John Obi Mikel worried for Chelsea star who keeps 'disappearing' in games

John Obi Mikel has admitted he has concerns over Cole Palmer after his anonymous performance for Chelsea against Flamengo in the Club World Cup. After a stunning first season at Stamford Bridge, Palmer's impact at Chelsea dropped off during the 2024-25 campaign. While he still ended the campaign with a very respectable 15 goals and 12 assists, he managed just one Premier League goal from mid-January onwards – that effort coming from the penalty spot. The England international endured another quiet evening as Chelsea fell to a 3-1 lead against Brazilian side Flamengo on Friday night. Palmer was replaced by Marc Guiu with eight minutes of the match remaining while his side were chasing an equaliser. Former Blues midfielder Mikel suggested Friday's performance was the latest in a worrying trend for Palmer, believing his performances are a result of the midfielder becoming a 'marked man' among the opposition. 'It is a bit worrying,' Mikel told DAZN. 'Cole is a fantastic player, everything goes through him but sometimes he disappears in games where you don't see him and that has happened again. 'But he needs to know that he is now a marked man. 'You will play against teams and they will know if you take out Cole Palmer, you can nullify the way they play. 'So he needs to find a different way. Maybe the manager needs to help him in terms of navigating games and opponents. More Trending 'Maybe try to free him, give him more space. If he plays well, we play well, so I hope the combination between him and [Liam] Delap will get better. 'So [I am] a little bit worried but Cole is a fantastic player and will hopefully continue to develop.' Chelsea won their opening game of the Club World Cup against LAFC on Monday but defeat to Flamengo means they need a win over Tunisia's ES Tunis next week to guarantee qualification for the knockout stages of the competition. They will be without Nicolas Jackson for that match after the striker was shown a straight red card just four minutes after coming off the bench to replace Liam Delap. Aberdeen denied them a treble with a famous penalty shoot-out victory in the Scottish Cup final at Hampden in May. McGregor himself is a former UFC featherweight and Lightweight champion holding both titles at the same time - a historic first in the sport. And he alluded to that success in his post with the Celtic manager. McGregor wrote on twitter: "LEGENDARY DOUBLE CHAMP LINK UP! "NEXT YEAR, TREBLE! "God is great! "Congrats to the Rodgers family on the new addition to their family." Meanwhile, as the fixtures were announced for the new season, Rodgers says he is preparing for a tougher test this year ahead of facing a new-look Rangers team. He told Sky Sports: "We create our own benchmark and our own levels and we have been doing that consistently now.
