How Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne's rarely-seen daughter Aimee, 41, is edging into the spotlight with music career (and a shock new look) - after singer 'shunned fame' and refused to appear on family's reality show

Daily Mail10-06-2025

She's always lived an ultra-private life away from the spotlight, unlike her famous parents Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne and siblings Kelly and Jack.
And Aimee - who showed off her shock new look over the weekend - is slowly edging into the spotlight with her music career, following in the footsteps of her rocker father.
Sharon, 72, and Ozzy's, 76, eldest daughter - who is estranged from her sister Kelly, 40 - refused to live her life on television with her family on their reality show The Osbournes.
For years, the wild Osbourne clan crashed onto screens in 2002, lifting the lid on their wild antics and their foul language.
But despite The Osbournes giving fans a peek into their lives over the course of 52 episodes - fans never met Aimee on the show.
Aimee shunned the spotlight and moved out of her family home aged just 16 when her family began filming, something Sharon has always regretted.
Now it appears the 41-year-old is ready to show glimpses of her life with the public as she often promotes her new music on her Instagram.
With her new slimmed down appearance, a new rumoured boyfriend and a very different appearance - Aimee has taken a liking to the spotlight...

Music career
She urged her fans to 'keep going' if 'times get tough' as she reflected on a year full of 'heartbreak and twists and turns'
Aimee shared a huge career milestone in an emotional post on Instagram last year after she recorded a project at Abbey Road Studios for the first time.
She urged her fans to 'keep going' if 'times get tough' as she reflected on a year full of 'heartbreak and twists and turns'.
Aimee, who records music as ARO, released her latest single Siren with Fjora music in November 2024. Her first single Raining Gold was released in 2015.
She wrote: 'A little over a year ago, I drove past Abbey Road Studios & thought to myself, if I somehow end up recording there one day, it would signify that I was on the right path.
'At the time, 'the path' felt littered with shards of heartbreak, twists & turns looked like dead ends with some questionable characters at the crosswalk. 'The only way past is through' a phrase I always return to in moments when it feels like an internal fight not to do the opposite. So I kept going..
'Time never felt less linear when a few weeks ago, I got asked to be a part of a project that would be recording at
'A project that I couldn't be prouder to be a part of with the most incredible people.
'Lately, life & beyond seems more infinitely & intrinsically linked far past what we can fully comprehend. More on this soon.
'Don't be afraid to put what you want out there, sometimes the universe listens & boomerangs it back out of the deep blue.
'When the path gets tough, keep going. Sending you all love on this'.
New appearance
Over the last few years, Aimee has showcased her chiseled looks and plumped lips in a series of selfies on her Instagram

Aimee looked completely unrecognisable as she stepped out in Manchester on Sunday.
She showed off her slimmed down appearance while leaving a hotel alongside Brigitte Calls Me Baby star Wes Leavins, who are currently on tour in the UK.
Over the last few years, Aimee has showcased her increasingly chiseled looks and plumped lips in a series of selfies on her Instagram.
Former X Factor judge Sharon, who recently admitted that Ozempic has had an adverse effect on her health, was recently pictured with Aimee in Los Angeles.
Sharon was among the first celebrities to publicly confirm using the diabetes drug, after her dramatically slimmed-down appearance sparked widespread concern.
Though she was initially pleased with the results after starting the medication in December 2022, Osbourne later admitted she feared she had taken it too far—despite revealing last November that she had been off the drug for 'a while.'
'I can't put on weight now, and I don't know what it's done to my metabolism, but I just can't seem to put any on, because I think I went too far,' she shared on Howie Mandel's podcast.
Earlier, in February, she told The Guardian she had lost 'three stone [42 pounds] in four months. Too much.'
Shunned fame
Aimee was largely raised in California until the age of 16, however she eventually moved out of the family home as filming for The Osbournes kicked off.
She said that she would have liked to stay at home 'a little longer', but as the MTV crew moved in the then teenager moved out.
Reflecting on her decision to not appear on the show she added: 'Back then, I still felt I was trying to figure out who I was in the chaos of family life, so why on earth would I want that portrayed on television?
'I wanted to protect myself, my parents, my siblings, too. They were very young, very impressionable.'
She later defended her decision in 2008 and told The Independent: 'I'm not some weirdo depressed daughter that's afraid of the world and locks herself in her room all day.
'I just didn't choose to do the show. I want to be a singer, and I felt if I'd stayed with the Osbournes and done the whole thing I would have been typecast right away.
'[Sharon] was hurt, and we definitely had a tough time with disagreements. I'm more reserved and my private life is very important.'
Sharon said on the Talk in 2018: 'She felt too that she didn't want to grow up on camera. She hated the idea — it was appalling to her.
'And so she left at 16 and I regret every day that she did. It broke my heart when she moved.'
Rumoured boyfriend
Aimee, on multiple occasions, has left sweet messages to Wes on the band's Instagram page
Aimee has sparked romance rumours with Brigitte Calls Me Baby star Wes Leavins after they were spotted leaving a hotel together in Manchester on Sunday.
Wes, who is currently on tour in the UK, walked alongside the rocker daughter of Ozzy as she pushed her luggage.
The lead singer cut a casual display in a black sweatshirt and trousers.
Aimee, on multiple occasions, has left sweet messages to Wes on the band's Instagram page.
On some posts she pens heart emojis in the comments, while others see her sharing supportive messages ahead of his shows.
MailOnline has contacted Aimee's representatives for comment.
Estranged from sister
Kelly confirmed in 2021 that she and Aimee two no longer talk following a clash in personalities.
The reality TV personality, who appeared on the Dax Shepard podcast - Armchair Expert - revealed she and her older sister had been estranged for a long time.
On the podcast episode, which aired on May 3, 2021, Kelly said the pair were unable to get on the same page.
'We don't talk,' Kelly, then 36, told Shepard. 'We're just really different. She doesn't understand me and I don't understand her.'
Back in 2015 Aimee shared with The Independent that her and Kelly were not on close terms.
'I wouldn't say there is an ease between us, but there is an acceptance,' she said. 'Do we socialize? No.'
However, Aimee and Jack's bond is staggeringly different, with the pair both running production company Osbourne Media together.
The siblings are also in the process of co-producing a biopic about their parents, according to Variety.

How Brad Pitt's favourite watch got its own starring role in F1

Brad Pitt may be best known for appearing in some of cinema's biggest blockbusters, but as a figure in the public eye for nearly four decades, he's also no stranger to scrutiny when it comes to his style choices. Alongside the clothes on his back, his hoard of statement watches has been well documented. And with the release of this season's high-octane motor-racing movie F1, Pitt's interest in horology is set to be centre stage again. The film, which is co-produced by Lewis Hamilton, stars Pitt as Sonny Hayes, who returns to the track to reclaim his lost glory following a spell in rehabilitation. But long before the movie's premiere this month — for which IWC is the sponsor of the fictional racing team and supplied all the timepieces — watch aficionados were caught up in a speculative frenzy when images of Pitt found their way into media channels. What had them bamboozled was a mystery green-dialled watch that was perfectly colour-coordinated with Pitt's elegant Sunspel sweatshirt and leather holdall. Theories swirled as to whether this was a 'prop' watch or something with more substance. It turned out to be the latter. 'Some time ago I got an email from somebody called 'BP' and I discarded it at first, until my team asked me if I had got an email from Brad Pitt,' says Chris Grainger-Herr, the CEO of IWC, recalling his astonishment when the actor got in touch. Pitt's message concerned the watch he thought his character should wear in the film, and a particular IWC model would be the only one up to muster. He requested an IWC Ingenieur SL 1832, a vintage 1976 model by Gérald Genta — often considered the godfather of modern watch design — who was also responsible for the cult Patek Philippe Nautilus and Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. 'He was very specific — he wanted it half as thick as the original and a special dial colour,' Grainger-Herr adds. Pitt also requested that the modifications involve his jeweller, Cloister Watch Co in New York, which is famed for its customisation work. The dial Pitt chose, a moss green that is his character's signature colour in the film, never existed in the original Seventies iteration — and was what had watch fanatics scratching their heads. Ingenieur Automatic 40, IW328908, £11,100, Christian Knoop, IWC's creative director, and his team were so taken with this one-off 'fictional' watch designed by the actor that they decided to launch their own tribute to his timepiece. The result is a contemporary spin on Pitt's remodelled vintage design, which still retains the Seventies swagger of the film version with a slick, integrated bracelet and angular case, but has all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a modern watch, including a high-spec self-powered movement that will keep ticking for 120 hours off the wrist. And that green dial has been given a textural upgrade with a grid-like finish. 'With this re-engineered model, we brought back the aesthetic codes of the original 1976 Ingenieur SL 1832, pairing them with the ergonomics and finishing of a luxury sports watch for today,' Knoop explains. And with only 1,000 being produced, you'll need to move like an F1 champ to get your hands on one before the chequered flag is waved.

Stressed Bill Belichick seen drenched in sweat with Jordon Hudson after rushing through airport to catch flight

Bill Belichick got so hot and flustered during a race to make a flight to Las Vegas on Wednesday that he was sweating through his clothes. Pictures obtained by Daily Mail show the six-time Super Bowl winner and 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson stood at their gate after sprinting through the terminal at Charlotte Douglas International airport. The couple were hoping to make a plane from North Carolina to Las Vegas but their efforts had left Belichick, 73, drenched in sweat. The pictures show the UNC coach and his younger girlfriend talking to a member of airline staff with a huge sweat patch all the way down his back. Unfortunately, he had chosen to wear a light grey hoodie which meant his perspiration could be clearly seen from distance. Belichick was obviously tense as he was seen arriving at the gate at 6:58am, just 16 minutes before his flight to Las Vegas was due to depart. Witnesses also claim that Belichick hadn't even had time to put on his socks, such was the rush he found himself in. Fortunately for the couple, they were allowed to board their flight. They even packed some extremely sparkly luggage as Hudson posted a picture of them wearing their respective championship rings. Tagging their location as Las Vegas, one of Belichick's Super Bowl rings and Hudson's cheerleading equivalent were both front and center of the picture. The purpose of their trip was to attend the grand opening of Tom Brady's Hall of Excellence museum at the Fontainebleau in Sin City. Two days later, Hudson posted a picture of her soaking up the sun in a bikini in California. She was lying on a sunbed with a cocktail in hand and plenty of delicious food next to her. Earlier this week she took a sly jab at Belichick 's ex partner, Linda Holliday, in a sentimental Instagram post, where she name-dropped 'Nantucket Socialites'. Hudson's post was primarily about Melissa Sapini, last year's Miss Massachusetts who relinquished her title this week to the new winner, with Hudson paying tribute to her friend's time on top on Tuesday. The long, sappy post included a jab at Holliday near the bottom, after Hudson gave Sapini tons of shout-outs. 'I know you will keep shining, metamorphosing and taking up space; even when others threaten you and insist that you don't belong, e.g. the "Nantucket Socialites"' Hudson said. Hudon's jab is in reference to an incident where Holliday did not like Hudson and Sapini coming to a certain Nantucket Christmas party late last year. Belichick, 73, and Holliday, 61, broke up in September 2023 after 16 years together. He met Hudson on a flight from Boston to Florida in 2021.
