1. Kingdom (Telugu)
Kingdom is a spy action thriller featuring Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role. The film, directed by Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri, is touted to be a duology featuring the tale of a man who rises to become the leader and protector of his people.
The much-awaited film was initially slated to hit theaters in May 2025, but was postponed to July 4, 2025. However, recent reports suggest that the film might move its release date once again, indicating to release on July 25, but an official confirmation is pending.
2. Paranthu Po (Tamil)
Cast: Shiva, Anjali, Mithul Ryan, Grace Antony, Vijay Yesudas, Aju Varghese

Release Date: July 4, 2025
Paranthu Po is an upcoming Tamil-language movie featuring Tamizh Padam fame Shiva in the lead role. The musical road comedy movie is helmed by Peranbu fame Ram, featuring the tale of a father and son.
Apart from the lead actor, the movie showcases actors like Anjali, Mithul Ryan, Grace Antony, Vijay Yesudas, Aju Varghese, and more in key roles.
3. The Pet Detective (Malayalam)
The Pet Detective is an upcoming Malayalam-language romantic comedy featuring Padakkalam actor Sharaf U Dheen in the lead. Co-starring Anupama Parameswaran, the film is helmed by Praneesh Vijayan.
While more details about the plot and release date are yet to be made, it is rumored to narrate the story of a couple whose lives take a turn when a Macaw parrot becomes part of it.
4. Ekka (Kannada)
Ekka is an action thriller focusing on the story of Muthu, a youngster who arrives in Bengaluru in search of his friend Ramesh, who once deceived him.
As he is introduced to the new setting, the man faces dire situations from the city's crime-filled underbelly. The rest of the film focuses on how he fights for truth and justice, dealing with love and friendship.
5. Ghaati (Telugu)
Ghaati is a Telugu-language movie starring Anushka Shetty in the lead role. The Krish Jagarlamudi directorial is a crime actioner featuring the tale of a woman who is forced into the trade of cannabis due to circumstances.
How she transitions to become a criminal and later a legend forms the entire story.
6. Oho Enthan Baby (Tamil)

Release Date: July 2025
Oho Enthan Baby is an upcoming Tamil-language romantic drama, helmed by Modern Love fame Krishnakumar Ramakumar. The film, bankrolled by actor-producer Vishnu Vishal, will introduce Rudra as an actor.
With Ori Devuda and Little Things fame Mithila Palkar as the female co-lead, the film will be hitting the big screens in July.
7. Hari Hara Veera Mallu (Telugu)
Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 is a swashbuckler action entertainer featuring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. The movie features the tale of an outlaw, Veera Mallu, who is tasked with the job of stealing the Koh-i-Noor diamond from the Mughals.
The movie, which has been postponed multiple times since its inception, was last announced for release on June 12, 2025, with a new date yet to be made official.

Singam Singam is a Tamil cop film franchise which features actor Suriya as Durai Singam, a ruthless but honest cop who must weed out anti-social elements by taking violence into hands. Written and directed by Hari, Singam became a commercial blockbuster, and further cemented Suriya's image as a mass hero. The success of the film paved the way for remakes in multiple languages, including Hindi, Kannada, and Bengali. Besides Suriya, Singam also features Anushka Shetty, Prakash Raj and Vivek. Nenjuku Needhi Nenjuku Needhi starring now full-time politician and former Tamil actor Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead role, is a remake of well-acclaimed Hindi film Article 15. Directed by Arunraja Kamaraj, the Tamil film is a hard-hitting feature on the hate and gender crimes committed on the basis of caste discrimination. Nenjuku Needhi is about a cop who comes from a fairly privileged background and get posted in a village where untouchability is still being practiced. Filmmaker H Vinoth, who was fresh off the success of his debut feature Sathuranga Vettai, collaborated with actor Karthi for the film. Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru starred the actor as a cop heading the operation against the robbers. The film was critically acclaimed for its engaging screenplay and performances, with Karthi announcing that there will be a sequel for the film. But H Vinoth, currently busy with Jana Nayagan, is highly anticipated by fans to start working on the second part. Kuberaa box office collection Day 2: Dhanush and Nagarjuna film earns over Rs 30 crore, gains momentum worldwide

Kuberaa box office collection Day 2: Kuberaa, starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh in pivotal roles, is going strong at the box office. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 14.75 crore on Day 1. Day 2 saw a slight improvement, with collections rising to Rs 16 crore, bringing the film's total India net to Rs 30.75 crore. Kuberaa recorded a strong 66.19% occupancy for its Telugu version and is performing better in Telugu than in Tamil. As far as the worldwide collection is concerned, the movie grossed Rs 27.5 crore on its first day. The Sekhar Kammula directorial has already surpassed the $1.2 million mark in North America, signalling a solid overseas performance. The numbers are expected to rise significantly on Sunday. Dhanush's previous film Raayan earned Rs 27.04 crore in two days, and Kuberaa has already surpassed it. SCREEN gave Kubera 3.5 stars. An excerpt from the review read, 'While the Dhanush and Nagarjuna-starrer is not without its share of missteps, the film still holds its own because of a discerning filmmaker and his sincere ensemble cast.' Backed by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, Kuberaa is the story of a beggar named Deva (Dhanush) who crosses paths with a former CBI officer, Deepak Tej (Nagarjuna), in an encounter that changes his life. Along the way, he also meets Sameera (Rashmika), a woman stranded in Mumbai and looking for a way out. Jim plays the corrupt CEO of a rich corporation called Neeraj Mitra.
