Bollywood actress and Shweta Tiwari's daughter Palak Tiwari made her acting debut with Salman Khan's film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. She has carved her niche in the industry and has become quite famous. She was recently seen in The Bhootnii alongside Sanjay Dutt. The actress began her acting career around the same time as other star kids like Ibrahim Ali Khan, Suhana Khan, and Ananya Panday. Now, she opened up on whether she feels pressured seeing their performances.
In a recent chat with Mashable India, Palak Tiwari was asked whether she feels any performance pressure, now that she's surrounded by fellow young actors like Suhana Khan, Ananya Panday, and Ibrahim Ali Khan, especially since they all debuted around the same time.
She shared, 'I think mujhe pressure har koi daalta hai mummy ke liye hi. Par mein pressure na lene ki puri koshish karti hu. Kyunki aap pressure leke kaam karoge toh phir bhi kaam acha nahi hoga, toh kya fayda pressure leke kaam karne ka. (I think everyone tried to put pressure on me because of my mother. However, I try not to take any pressure. If you work under pressure, things won't turn out to be good. Hence, there's no use of getting pressurized).
Palak also spoke about her connection with acting, describing it as a form of therapy. She revealed that becoming an actor had been her dream since childhood, and just the thought of performing in front of the camera brings her joy. When she's acting, she added, her mind feels completely clear, with no other thoughts distracting her.
The Bhootnii actress added, 'This is the happiest moment of my life. Mera sapna pura hogaya. Toh mein baaki logon ki kyu sochu.' (My dream has been fulfilled, now why should I get bothered by anyone else).
Palak Tiwari also described her peers as 'sweet' and acknowledged that they're navigating tough times, admitting that making a name for themselves as young newcomers in the industry is challenging.
On the work front, Palak Tiwari was recently seen in the supernatural romance The Bhootnii. She was seen in the role of Ananya, a girl possessed by a spirit. Apart from her, the film features Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, and Aasif Khan in pivotal roles. Directed and written by Sidhaant Sachdev, it was released in theaters on May 1.

Throwback! When Sanjay Dutt allegedly said 'sorry' to Madhuri Dixit over romance buzz

The alleged relationship between Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt was one of the most talked-about topics in the 1990s, often dominating gossip columns and industry chatter. While neither star ever publicly confirmed the rumors, their undeniable on-screen chemistry sparked intense speculation. As is often said, there might be a grain of truth behind some whispers. Sanjay Dutt, known for his flamboyant persona and tumultuous past—as later depicted in his biopic Sanju —was frequently portrayed as Bollywood's quintessential Casanova. During this time, he and Madhuri shared screen space in a string of successful films such as 'Khatron Ke Khiladi, Thanedaar, Saajan, Khalnayak, Ilaaka, and Sahibaan'. Their magnetic pairing on screen naturally gave rise to stories of a growing off-screen connection. The rumors reached their peak during the filming of Saajan (1991). Their increasing closeness became a favorite subject for tabloids and insiders alike, turning their alleged relationship into one of Bollywood's most mysterious and intriguing love stories—one that was never officially acknowledged. In an old interview with Movie magazine, Sanjay Dutt spoke about the media storm that surrounded them. "This story surfaced around the time of Saajan ," he recalled. "She was shooting Khel in Kenya when the reports came out. I felt terrible, so I went up to her and apologized during our next Saajan schedule. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Scam Exposed: What They Won't Tell You about zero trust! At one point, it was even speculated that Madhuri and Sanjay were serious enough to consider marriage. However, following Sanjay Dutt's arrest in 1993 under the TADA Act, everything changed. Their relationship reportedly came to an abrupt end. The arrest not only altered the course of his career but also deeply impacted his personal life and relationships. Though their love story was never officially confirmed, it remains etched in Bollywood folklore—an untold romance suspended between reel and real life.

Pandey called out his co-contestant on the show for her "disrespectful tone" while addressing a senior actor. The actor, in his Instagram live video, questioned the current generation for casually referring to a veteran like Vidyarthi. He said, "Apoorva, who is known as The Rebel Kid, already has enough controversies surrounding her. I'm not saying she's a bad person." He emphasised how the choice of words can ruin people's perception, even if someone is a good person. The actor further said, "She's a good kid. I'm sure she has a good heart too. But jab aapki zubaan kharaab ho jaaye na, toh wo sab kuch kharaab kar deti hai (Your tone and words can damage everything)." "Everything else goes for a toss if you do not have the know-how about what to say, and how to speak, about people who are senior to you. Ashish bhai- Ashish Vidyarthi- who is such a senior actor-he's very senior to me as well. So, behind my back, she was talking about Ashish bhai, and was saying, ' Mujhe lagta hai Ashish jayega . (I feel Ashish will go)'," he added. Pandey reflected that Mukhija's tone of addressing Vidyarthi sounded as if he was her childhood friend. He said, " Ashish jayega (Ashish will go)? Is he your childhood friend or what? What kind of way is this to talk about people â€' about actors who are older than even your parents?" The actor called such behaviour "a curse on our society." "You're talking about them like this behind their back? What does this say about you? Please tell me â€' is this Gen Z? Is this what we think is cool? No, I'm sorry â€' this is not cool at all," he went on. The 'Anupamaa' actor further said, "You abuse anyone, disrespect people. Is this what Gen Z is all about? Then I feel sorry for them." "Even I have kids, and even they are Gen-Z and they are extremely respectful to other people. So I am sorry, I think there are a lot of problems. It breaks my heart," he added. Son of Sardaar 2 OTT Release: Where to watch Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt's action comedy after its theatrical run

Son of Sardaar 2 OTT Release: After over a decade, the wildly popular Sardar is back, and this time, he's bringing an even louder dhol with him. Son of Sardaar 2, the much-awaited sequel to the 2012 comedy-action entertainer, is all set to hit theatres on July 25, 2025. But if you're not a fan of the big screen rush or just prefer your popcorn at home, there's good news: the film will stream exclusively on Netflix after its theatrical run. Cast and crew of Son of Sardaar 2 Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, Son of Sardaar 2 brings back the fan-favourite pairing of Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt, whose on-screen rivalry in the original won over masses and single screens alike. Also joining the cast is Mrunal Thakur, stepping in as the new female lead. Other known faces include Sanjay Mishra (replacing Vijay Raaz), Ravi Kishan, Kubbra Sait, Vindu Dara Singh, and the late Mukul Dev. The script has been penned by celebrated Punjabi writer Jagdeep Sidhu, while music duties go to Himesh Reshammiya. Son of Sardaar 2 is being produced under Ajay Devgn's home banner, in collaboration with Jio Studios and T-Series. More about Son of Sardaar 2 The film's shooting began in July 2024 and travelled across stunning locales from Scotland's Edinburgh and Firth of Forth to London's buzzing streets, before returning to India for major chunks in Chandigarh and rural Punjab. A teaser for the film has already been approved by the CBFC and is expected to drop in late June 2025, possibly attached to Kajol's upcoming horror thriller Maa. Recap Released in 2012, Son of Sardaar was a boisterous masala film that clicked big time at the box office. Ajay played a London-return Sardar caught in a centuries-old family feud in Punjab, hosted (and almost killed) by his enemies, led by Sanjay Dutt's intense Billu. But the twist? Indian hospitality rules meant Jassi couldn't be harmed inside the house, giving birth to cat-and-mouse comedy, romance (with Sonakshi Sinha), and stylised action.
