As the temperatures drop and the air gets drier, your skin and senses deserve a little extra TLC. Winter has a way of stealing moisture from the skin and dulling that usual glow, but it doesn't have to.
This season, it's all about restoring radiance and wrapping yourself in warmth, starting with two essentials: the new Vaseline Cera-Glow range and the timeless Chanel Chance perfume.
Skin First: Lock In That Winter Glow
Dry, flaky skin is one of winter's most unwelcome guests. That's where the new Vaseline Cera-Glow range steps in.

Infused with ceramides and Vaseline Jelly, this range is designed to deeply hydrate while strengthening the skin's moisture barrier. Unlike heavier winter creams that can feel greasy, Cera-Glow absorbs beautifully and leaves your skin soft, supple, and luminous.
Instead of just bringing the viral Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Gel Oil to Mzansi, they have made one specifically for South African skin.
Containing replenishing oil and natural oils (Vit E and almond oil) for soft and radiant skin. In addition, it is uniquely powered by pro-ceramides for a stronger skin barrier and a healthy glow.
It's the perfect daily dose of glow your winter skin craves and the subtle, clean scent means it won't clash with your signature fragrance.
Fragrance Finish
Once your skin is moisturised, don't forget the finishing touch: a spritz of Chanel Chance. This elegant, floral fragrance adds a playful sophistication to your winter beauty routine.

With notes of pink pepper, jasmine, and patchouli, Chanel Chance is vibrant but not overpowering, making it ideal for those who love to smell good without being too loud.
"The scent lingers gently on scarves and sweaters, leaving a trail of allure wherever you go," said Olivier Polge Chanel In-House Perfumer-Creator
"The original idea behind Chance was a state of mind that we interpreted in very different styles.
A new colour in the Chance palette. After pink, green, yellow and orange comes purple. The shade of magic and lightness tinged with mystery and nobility. Rebellious energy conceals depth and dazzling power behind its capers. This new creation by Polge is a marvel of paradoxes.
Pro Tip: For a longer-lasting fragrance, apply your fragrance to your pulse points right after moisturising. Hydrated skin holds the scent better, so this combo is more than just a luxury, it's smart layering.

Since 2023, Nandi has led a sonic tour across Africa, interviewing the biggest and best acts, and shining a spotlight on the superstars making waves both on the continent and around the world. Image: Supplied/Rageinc Productions For the past two years, Nandi Madida has hosted Africa Now Radio on Apple Music 1, and on June 20, she reached the 100th episode mark. Apple Music celebrated the milestone by surprising the 'Black Is King' actress with an intimate dinner. Instead of a normal dinner with her Apple Music bosses, Madida was greeted with her husband Zakes Bantwini's face and select media. "It feels like such an honour," beamed after receiving a 100-rose bouquet in celebration. Previous Africa Now Radio hosts include Nigerian DJ and musician DJ Cuppy, Nigerian presenter Dadaboy Ehiz and South African presenter Luthando 'LootLove' Shosha. "To be honest, the time has flown by because it's been so much fun. I've simply been a voice for what has already been happening. This is Africa's natural trajectory,' she shared in our interview. 'It's seamless because the musicians are so incredibly talented at what they do. I just get to represent this amazing movement." Next Stay Close ✕ The Africa to the World wave, she says, is no longer a dream; it's a reality. "It's happening. The world is looking to us, this beautiful continent, the cradle of humankind and music. 'Of course, the world had to come back here, to see how we do this music thing. It's amazing that Africa is now the benchmark.' On Africa Now Radio, Madida has interviewed some of Africa's biggest stars, Afrobeats star Oxlade, South African amapiano DJ and producer DBN Gogo and Nigerian rapper ODUMODUBLVCK to name a few. Reflecting on the state of Afro music today, she urged young creatives to think beyond trends and commercial appeal. "Afro music is its entity, it deserves to be viewed as more than just another commercial genre or podcast soundtrack. 'My whole career has been about that. I've always gravitated towards creating new ways, paving new roads for the next generation. I want people, especially young ones, to know they can do things differently and still succeed. 'There's a quote I love: 'Who was she and what did she do? She was herself and she did it all.' That's what I want to stand for. I've enjoyed a unique, beautiful career simply by trusting my gut and following my own path." These days, Madida's life is filled with motherhood, podcasting, and intentional living. But fans have noticed a quiet pause in her music and acting projects. Her husband, Grammy award-winning musician Zakes Bantwini, was quick to correct her when she spoke of her music career in the past tense. 'I've been so honoured to do music, to act. My husband often reminds me, 'No, no, you're still doing music, even if it's in-house.' 'It's great to have a partner who supports me fully, especially in a society where we're still unlearning certain patriarchal ideas. He believes in me doing it all.' Her husband is her biggest cheerleader. In his toast to his wife, Zakes Bantwini reflected on seeing his wife lose out on deals because she would not change her views on certain issues, such as her natural hair. @thislove_k Nandi Madida was celebrated by Apple Music for her 100th episode of Africa Now Radio on Apple Music 1. Her husband Zakes Bantwini had nothing but praise for all the effort his wife puts into her show and her pride in being African ♬ original sound - Oluthando Keteyi

Fathers Day gift ideas: Dad's online shopping habits might solve your Father's Day dilemma
Dad's online shopping habits can guide you on gifts he truly wants. Every year, Father's Day rolls around and with it, the same old questions: Does he really need another braai apron? Should I buy him socks again? And if you ask him, he'll say what he always says: "All I want is to spend time with my family." But let's be honest, there's a good chance he's already got a wishlist brewing online. In fact, a recent survey revealed something many of us didn't expect - around 42% of South Africa's online consumers are men aged 35 to 64. That's right: Dad might be browsing and adding things to his virtual basket more often than you are. So, if you're stuck on what to buy him, the answer might just lie in his recent online cart. Platforms like Temu are making it easier (and cheaper) for dads to shop directly from suppliers, and it's not just for essentials. We're talking golf accessories, cool kitchen gadgets, fitness gear, home tools, and even the occasional grooming device. So, what does this mean for Father's Day shopping? A lot, actually. It's time to skip the cliché gifts and get him something he actually wants - the kind of gift he's probably already been eyeing online. Gadgets Dads love their tech – and gadgets consistently rank high in their online purchases. Think wireless earbuds, mini projectors, handheld massagers, or even a digital meat thermometer for the braai. The key? Choose something fun, practical, and preferably with a USB cable. Gifting smarter, not bigger The best part? You don't have to spend a fortune. According to the same survey, 46% of shoppers using Temu saved more than half their shopping budget, and nearly 40% buy something monthly. That means you can still spoil dad with thoughtful, useful gifts, without maxing out your card. Whether he admits it or not, your dad has a wishlist. And thanks to his secret online shopping habit, we finally have a better idea of what he actually wants. This Father's Day, peek into the patterns, browse the trending gadgets – and give him something that'll make him say, 'How did you know?' (Just don't tell him you checked his basket.) IOL Lifestyle

Prince William steps up at Windsor Castle, honours achievers
Prince William took centre stage at Windsor Castle on Wednesday, representing his father, King Charles III. The Prince of Wales led an investiture ceremony, where he conferred honours on a remarkable group of individuals. These individuals have all made significant contributions to society. Among the honoured were actress Anne-Marie Duff, Chanel CEO Leena Nair, and Everton F.C. manager David Hoyes. Their dedication and service earned them this prestigious recognition, highlighting their impact in the arts, business, and sports, according to Geo News. The official Instagram account of the Prince and Princess of Wales shared vibrant photos and videos from the event. Prince William expressed his heartfelt congratulations. 'Congratulations to all those receiving honours at Windsor today. Your hard work, dedication, and service have truly set you apart. This recognition is a testament to the difference you've made. Well done!' This ceremony was particularly notable as Prince William carried out this important royal duty without his wife, Kate Middleton. The Princess of Wales had just made her first public royal appearance since returning from a family break, visiting the V&A East Storehouse for a special museum experience in London. Kate is gradually resuming her royal engagements following her chemotherapy treatment. Her resilience and commitment resonate deeply with many who value strength and dedication in the face of challenges. The investiture at Windsor Castle comes just days before the Trooping the Colour parade on 14 June, which honours King Charles' birthday. This military spectacle is a highlight of the British royal calendar, and the royal family will gather in full regalia. As Prince William steps confidently into his future role, events like this showcase his commitment to upholding the monarchy's values. His leadership at Windsor Castle was both a nod to tradition and a promise of continuity. With Kate Middleton's gradual return and Prince William's active presence, the royal family continues to engage with the public in meaningful ways. Their dedication offers inspiration not just in the UK but to the Commonwealth and beyond Prince William's words and actions at Windsor Castle remind us all of the power of recognition and the importance of honouring those who make a difference.
