Meghan Markle stuns fans with pricey new lifestyle product range
Meghan Markle has unveield the newest range of lifestyle products with her brand As Ever, shocking many royals fan with the limited availability and outrageous prices.
Meghan Markle has officially unveiled the latest drop from her luxury lifestyle brand As Ever, with many of her loyal fans shocked at the inflated prices and availability of her second brand launch.
The Duchess of Sussex's second launch includes a selection of new food items, including a swanky apricot spread, a limited edition orange blossom honey, and a brand new Rosé wine, marking her foray into the world of alcoholic drinks, reports the Mirror.
The 2023 Rose, which hails from the vineyards of Napa Valley, California, will be sold on As Ever from July 1, with Meghan's eager fans excited about their new summer tipple. As well as a range of new products, various fan favourites have been restocked - including the flower sprinkles, crepe mix, herbal teas, and shortbread cookie mix.
While some royal watchers are buzzing with excitement over Meghan's latest line of summer goodies, others have been left scratching their heads by the price.
Meghan is flogging orange blossom honey for a whopping $28 (£21), while a pot of apricot jam in her now-trademark 'keepsake' jar will set fans back $14 (£10). International fans have also been let down by the release, as the products are only available for shipping within the United States.
The Duchess first teased the sweet treats on her lifestyle brand's Instagram earlier this week, writing in the caption alongside a picture of a stack of pancakes: 'Oh yes, honey …sweet things await. We're bringing back your favorites, plus some delicious surprises you won't want to miss!'
In a newsletter to fans, she said: "First off, a sincere thank you for making the debut of As Ever absolutely extraordinary. We had a feeling there would be excitement, but to see everything sell out in less than an hour was an amazing surprise.
"We are pleased to share that on June 20th, we're going live with the products you love – plus, some new delicious surprises," adding that "so much love has gone into this".
The new release of the new products come after Meghan revealed that she would be focusing more on her lifestyle brand, and not renewing her podcast for a second season any time soon.
Speaking candidly on the Aspire podcast with host Emma Grede, Meghan acknowledged "that there is so much excitement and desire for another season" of the podcast, but added, "I need to focus on my business. People seem to forget that very rarely do people see everything that's happening behind the scenes."
In addition to Meghan's podcast and lifestyle brand, she is also working on a second season of her Netflix show - With Love, Meghan - which is expected to premiere later this year.
Joking with podcast host Emma Grede, Meghan said: "At a certain point, the only thing I want spread thin is my jam."

Duchess of Sussex announces launch of own wine
New products from the Duchess of Sussex's lifestyle brand have sold out in just a few hours, as she also announced she is also launching her own wine. The rose, described as having 'soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality, and a lasting finish', on her As Ever website, will be available to buy next month. The new range of food items that went on sale on Friday included a 'limited edition orange blossom honey' at a cost of 28 dollars (£20). Also available were an apricot spread in 'keepsake packaging', and a crepe mix, both £10 each, flower sprinkles for £11 and a range of different herbal teas at £9 for a box of 12 sachets. The new range went on sale at 4pm UK time, and had all sold out by just before 8pm. Meanwhile, a message on the homepage of the As Ever site read: 'Our debut Napa Valley rose is launching just in time for summer entertaining. 'With soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality, and a lasting finish, this bespoke blend is launching just in time for summer entertaining, and will be available for purchase on July 1st.' In an Instagram post at the same time as the new products went live, the California-based duchess wrote: 'Yummies, and honeys, and fruit spreads, oh my!' Meghan had promised some 'delicious surprises' as she teased, earlier this week, that she would be offering some new products on the site. She previously said the original April launch had been 'absolutely extraordinary'. But she also spoke of her fear that she annoyed customers when the first batch of her jam and herbal teas sold out in less than an hour. She said wanted to wait until it is 'completely stable and we have everything we need'. In the run-up to her re-stock, Meghan shared a photo of jam-making preparations including bowls of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, and freshly squeezed lemons, on her Instagram stories, writing: ''June gloom?' Not over here! Because this month your favourite products are back.' Her official As Ever account also posted: 'To all who've been wondering and waiting, thank you!
