The health fanatic has often opened up about her diet and food choices. In one such vlog shared in 2022, she gave fans a peek into her daily diet, what she eats in a day, her commitment to intermittent fasting, and how she controls her portions.
The clip opened to show the actress saying, 'I believe you are what you eat. I have had a very healthy relationship with food. I have followed intermittent fasting, I have followed eating small meals a day. I control my portions."
Pre-breakfast
The actress starts her day bright and early at 5:30 AM. Before heading to the gym, she prioritises hydration and drinks plenty of water. She then eats a light pre-breakfast snack like a banana and a handful of soaked dry fruits like almonds and pistachios to fuel her workout sessions.
Breakfast
Post-gym, she prefers wholesome, home-cooked breakfasts such as dosa, poha or upma. But on busy days, she may skip her breakfast and instead have a glass of milk or water. In the vlog, she was seen relishing a bowl of cereal and fresh fruits.
Lunch
For lunch, the actress favours traditional home-cooked Bengali meals. Highlighting her love for rice over roti, she said that her plate typically includes rice, roti, pachforon masoor dal, bhindi (okra), radish vegetables, and a fresh salad seasoned with black salt and coriander.
Munmun also revealed that she never misses incorporating good fats like ghee in her lunch and dinner that's specifically made in her home. The TMKOC star mentioned that she avoids wheat products, though she loves paranthas.
In her vlog, she shared how she instructs her cook to prepare dishes in the traditional Bengali style. 'I am a true-blue Bengali. I have strictly instructed my cook to cook food in authentic Bengali style. She is also a Bengali but is not much aware of the cooking style. I can cook too. My mom and I both instruct her," she said.
Evening Snack
In the evening, Munmun opts for a light, nutritious snack. She treats herself to a bowl of fresh fruits and homemade masala quinoa, accompanied by soothing lemongrass and ginger tea. Giving a quick tip, the actress said that she eats her snack before having tea or coffee to avoid acidity.
Dinner
Mumun shared that her dinner is usually the same as lunch because food is cooked only once, adding, 'But if I am outside and someone asks me what I want to eat, I have daal khichdi. It's my comfort food."
In the video, Munmun added that while attending some events, she has a pre-dinner because she gets cranky when hungry. For her pre-dinner, Munmun prefers eating a half-fried egg with her sourdough.
