Victoria Beckham insists 'I'm a good mum and I try to be the best that I can' amid her escalating family feud with son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz
Victoria Beckham has given a rare insight into motherhood as her family fallout continues to rumble on.
During her recent trip to Dubai to celebrate her capsule collection for Ounass, the mum-of-four sat down for an interview with YouTube series REVIEWED BY OSA.
The fashion designer was speaking just days after her husband David's 50th birthday celebrations which Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz failed to attend, reigniting the family tension.
Victoria spoke candidly about being a working mum, insisting that she tries her 'best' to be a good mother to Brooklyn, 26 and his three younger siblings.
'I'd like to think I'm a good mum, a good wife. I try to be the best that I can,' she told host Osa Machabbi who asked her 'who is Victoria Beckham?'
Expanding, Victoria said she tries to have an optimistic attitude even when times are tough, admitting: 'I work hard. I like to think I'm a kind person. I'm very positive. I love a good energy.'

'I'm not trying to be perfect, I've never been perfect. I just want to be the best that I can be,' she added.
'I accept my flaws. It's just making the best of who you are, I do that through a healthy diet, working out every day, dressing in a certain way. I'm just trying to be the best me, so I can be the best mum, the best wife, the best professional.'
She later mused: 'I have self doubt but I don't let myself be weighed down by it. I think an element of that is always good because if not, I can imagine you would become incredibly arrogant. I am quite a humble person.'
Victoria also spoke about her upcoming project, a Netflix documentary following her fashion business which comes two years after the huge success of her husband's series for the streamer.
'Filming has been like therapy, I've realised things about myself that I didn't realise before,' she admitted.
'I've been very vulnerable but I knew going into it that there's an element of control that I am not going to have and as a control freak that ultimately makes you feel quite vulnerable.'
Insisting the documentary will delve deep, she added: 'You're really seeing me, I'm being very honest. I'm just being me and let's be honest I am now in the hands of the editors!'
'You're seeing me at work, but then you are seeing me with the kids a little bit and with David because the two go hand in hand.'
Last weekend The Mail exclusively revealed how tensions between the Beckhams and Brookyn's wife Nicola are being blamed for the couple's failure to attend David's 50th birthday earlier this month.
Friends of the family have accused Nicola of keeping Brooklyn from family events, and claimed she created 'drama'.
Rumours of a feud between the Beckhams and their daughter-in-law were first sparked on the young couple's wedding day three years ago, when Nicola opted to wear a Versace bridal gown instead of one of Victoria's designs.
However Nicola went on to squash the rumours and the pair had gone on to put on a very supportive display of one another.
They would praise each others work, appear at events together and even post tributes to each other on social media.
However things have since turned sour and Brooklyn and Nicola were no shows at any of David's birthday celebrations.
The Mail revealed that a rift with Nicola is at the centre of the breakdown in relations - despite the Beckhams' best efforts to support and champion their eldest son's wife since their 2022 wedding.
On Monday Brooklyn came close to bumping into his father David during a fly-in visit to London.
The aspiring chef was back in the UK posing for a new modelling campaign with upscale fashion company Moncler following strained relations with the wider Beckham family.
While Brooklyn was taking part in the photoshoot, his father David was just half a mile up the road at the Chelsea Flower Show chatting to King Charles and Queen Camilla.
It was a fly-in visit for Brooklyn who arrived in London early Monday morning and was at the photoshoot from 9am until around 4pm.
He then went to his hotel in Park Lane to have a relaxed evening with Nicola and flew back to America at 7am on Tuesday.
He opted not to stay at the Beckham's family home in Holland Park which was located close by the shoot.
David and Victoria are understood to be devastated following a fallout with Brooklyn, who lives in the United States with his wife and her wealthy family.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, Victoria appeared to offer an olive branch by sharing a group photo of their four children alongside her father, Tony Adams - who celebrated his birthday over the weekend, with the accompanying message: 'We both love you all so much!'
The undated photo also features Victoria's mother Jackie, flanked by Brooklyn and his siblings Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13.
David is allegedly 'desperate to make amends with his son as he fears history is repeating itself' following his bitter fall out with his father Ted in 2005.
In the latest evidence of this, David included Brooklyn in a post about Mother's Day in the U.S. as he dedicated a post to the mother of his children, Victoria.
Over the weekend, David reached out to his son on social media as rumours of their family feud continue to bubble.
A sweet black and white photo showed Victoria cuddled up with her four kids, soon after welcoming their daughter Harper.

My mum abandoned us for toyboy Masai warrior on holiday in Kenya – it destroyed my life & even teachers laughed at me
A SON whose mum left her family to marry a Masai warrior she met on holiday revealed it destroyed his childhood. Cheryl Thomasgood, then 34, jetted away from her second husband and three children to marry Daniel Lekimencho weeks after meeting him in Kenya. 6 6 The couple first lay eyes on each other at the Bamburi Beach Hotel in Mombasa. Cheryl quickly traded in her suburban life on the Isle of Wight and relocated there with the 6ft 2-inch-tall Kenyan warrior - who was ten years her junior. Her son Stevie Liddington, now 43, has broken his silence on the ordeal in light of his mother's comments earlier this month. She explained how she felt she was used as a "meal ticket" by the Masai warrior and expressed her regret. But Stevie, who was 11 when Cheryl left, told the Mail he is "ashamed to call her my mother" and "deeply disgusted". "My mother did not just abandon her family in the 1990s – she ruined our childhoods," he said. "She left behind three children, including me, and never looked back in any meaningful or supportive way. "She was never the kind of mother who cared about her children's emotional well-being, and even now, decades later, she continues to show who she truly is by dragging this all up again without a thought for the people it hurts." Stevie has relocated with his wife and children to Seoul, in South Korea, and hasn't spoken to Cheryl in 10 years. He told how his brother moved to Canada, and similarly has little contact with their mum. In harrowing tales, Stevie revealed his childhood had been traumatic before Daniel arrived on the scene. His father, Robert Liddington, had left the home when he was five-years-old, which saw Cheryl spiral into a mental breakdown. Stevie and his younger brother were temporarily placed in foster care after they "saw things no child should ever witness" - including Cheryl holding a knife to her own neck. He recalled Cheryl's second husband, Mike Mason, stepping up and giving the family stability. 6 6 But their happiness was shattered beyond repair with "one phone call" from Kenya when Cheryl said she was never coming home. Stevie's trauma only deepened after the case sparked a media frenzy, which he claimed his mother loved to fuel. He refuted her expressions of regret and said she'd never taken accountability properly. The web designer claimed her comments were filled with lies, including the impression Daniel was loved by the kids. "We were not 'taken' with him. He was a stranger in our home who could barely speak English," he said. "Their relationship was violent, chaotic. I remember physical fights between the two." Cheryl and Daniel had welcomed a daughter together, Misti, in 1998. Stevie said he was often left to look after his half-sister, when Cheryl would go missing for days. "I'd walk the parks for hours with Misti in her buggy, praying to whoever was listening that my mum wasn't dead," he added. Stevie revealed Misti and Cheryl are still in contact with each other and there is no bad blood. His brother, who relocated to Canada, also has an on-and-off relationship with Cheryl. But Stevie is insistent he must keep the door closed with "narcissistic" Cheryl - who he slammed should "never have been a mother". CHERYL'S REGRET Cheryl and her new partner made headlines across the globe with people left gobsmacked at her decision to abandon the comfortable middle-class life for a new home and partner in rural Kenya. She traded it in to help the warrior cook, clean and hunt, sleeping on goatskin and surviving on a diet of cow's blood and cabbage in a mud hut. But the bizarre couple eventually to leave Kenya behind returned to the Isle of Wight in 1995. They tied the knot on Valentine's Day, both wearing traditional Masai clothing. But more than three decades later, Cheryl has broken her silence after the marriage fell apart - when she claimed Daniel became obsessed with wealth. She described feeling used as a "meal ticket" in an emotional interview with the MailOnline. "I made a huge mistake, it was very wrong of me, and I have a lot of regrets, especially about how it damaged my children," she said. Cheryl split with Daniel in 1999 just four years after they were married and one year after their daughter was born. Now, 65-year-old Cheryl lives alone in a seaside town in Somerset where she is well known among the local community. She has kept her controversial past hidden from the community with none of her friends aware of the bizarre relationship she once had with the Masai warrior. MARRIAGE BREAKDOWN Cheryl has now told how shortly after arriving in the UK Daniel became obsessed with material things and money. She detailed how Daniel quickly became moody and miserable over the couples lot in life, wanting more money and more possessions, changed by life in the UK. Cheryl recalled the only time Daniel being happy was when the Kenyan warrior was jumping around in the garden doing his traditional Masai dance. She added: "He would say that he was getting ready for battle and wanted to jump as high as an elephant. The kids loved it, but it got on my nerves after a while." Trying to pinpoint what went wrong in the peculiar relationship Cheryl blamed a slew of drastic cultural differences between her and her husband. She reportedly felt that adjusting to life in the UK was too tough for Daniel and his struggles assimilating, combined with the pressure on the pair to make their relationship work, led to the eventual end of their marriage. Cheryl admitted that she suffered sexual abuse as a young girl and spoke about the harrowing difficulties she faced growing up in a dysfunctional London household with alcoholic parents, she was reportedly contemplating suicide at the time she met Daniel. She revealed how she was urged to go on her Kenyan holiday by a friend who was in the same church choir as her, the pair went on the holiday that would change her life forever together. When Cheryl went to Kenya she was at a low point in her life she said, suffering with childhood trauma and stuck in an unhappy marriage to her second husband Mike. She had seen Daniel was an answer to her problems, believing he could help her heal and find peace through spirituality. Cheryl now admits that her love affair with the Masai warrior was just an escape from her problems and not an answer to them. MOVING ON Asked about what she regrets the most about her time with her warrior toy boy, Cheryl said: "The impact all this had on my children. Having a Masai warrior as a father was not easy for them. Daniel was trying his best, but he could never understand the Western ways and couldn't be the dad that they needed." Cheryl said that her children had missed out on having a proper father figure in their lives because of her relationship with Daniel and the break down of her first two marriages. Despite having no contact with Daniel, Cheryl maintained she still has good relationships with all of her children, referring to her daughter Mitsi as "the one good thing" to come out of her and Daniel's strange and difficult marriage. Following the pair's split, Masai warrior Daniel remained on the Isle of Wight where he now works in a supermarket.

British plasterer is kicked out of Dubai over facial tattoos reading 'blessed', 'family' and 'crazy life'
A British man was 'devastated' after being kicked out of Dubai for having face tattoos. Jordan Howman, 34, landed at Dubai International Airport for a dream week-long holiday with his fiancée Theresa, 38, and daughter Kaic, 16, when immigration officers took him aside, confiscating his passport. The plasterer from Crewe had 'worked his arse off' to save up for the £3,000 trip and was hoping to spend five days seeing the United Arab Emirates, his 'favourite country in the world'. But Mr Howman claims after six hours of being held, immigration officers sent him packing 'because of his face tattoos'. Jordan got the geometric cubes tattooed on his face around eight or nine years ago alongside words like 'blessed', 'family' and 'crazy life' and said it has never caused problems during his previous two visits to Dubai, he says. 'My missus has been crying her eyes out,' he said. 'It has absolutely devastated me. I feel like I've been massively discriminated against. 'There's no law against face tattoos - there's nothing like that. 'I'm a lovely lad, I get on with anyone. It's made me feel absolutely rubbish. I'm not allowed in a country because of the way I look. It's properly, massively affected me. 'It was my favourite country, but this has absolutely ruined it. Now I'll never go again. I've lost all of my money because of a pattern on my face.' The emirates has become one of the go-to destinations for wealthy British expats and holidaymakers alike. But the Muslim state's social conservatism can cause problems for visiting foreigners. Permanent tattoos are generally considered haram (forbidden) in Islam because it is considered mutilating the body and changes Allah's creation, according to many Islamic scholars. Mr Howman's Emirates airline flight landed at Dubai International Airport on Wednesday, June 11 at 7.30am. 'It was my third trip to Dubai,' he said. 'I'd had no problems all the other times. But this time, as we got in, I scanned my passport and was just about to go through security when an airport worker pulled us aside. 'We were about to put our hand luggage on the conveyor belt when the man said: "follow me".' After taking Mr Howman aside, a man asked if he'd had his passport stamped before taking it from him by allegedly snatching it out of his hand After taking Mr Howman aside, the man asked if he'd had his passport stamped before taking it from him. 'Then he snatched my passport out of my hand,' he said. 'There had been nowhere to stamp it - we'd used the electronic gates. It was just an excuse to get the passport out of my hand.' After being held in a waiting room for over four hours, Mr Howman was transferred to immigration at around 12am, he said. By this time, his family had reached their five star Anantara hotel. He called his partner Theresa and she got a taxi to the airport but he says 'they wouldn't let me see her' and she got a taxi back to the hotel, costing a total of £250. Theresa is also heavily tattooed but was not removed from the county. Mr Howman said he was not given his passport back for some time which was 'terrifying'. 'A woman came and took me upstairs to immigration, where they said: 'He's not coming in because of his face tattoos - you're not coming in because of the way you look',' he said. 'One of the staff behind the desk said a more senior immigration officer made the decision, saying I was not to enter Dubai and that I must leave the country immediately.' At 2.30pm, Mr Howman was put on another Emirates flight heading back to the UK. 'They sent me on a flight back to Manchester. It was only when I landed that I got my passport back. Friday morning was the first time I got to see my daughter, over Facetime.' The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs Dubai have been approached for comment. Dubai Airports was also contacted for comment.
