Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan's teaser starts off with a shot of Vikrant wearing sunglasses and Shanaya with a blindfold on. The musical romance is described to explore the 'charm of first love, fleeting moments, and the ache of separation' in a press note. The teaser hints at a spontaneous meeting between two strangers turning into something more. Despite not revealing much, both characters are seen wearing blindfolds at different times. It ends with Vikrant asking Shanaya if it's safe to say that love is blind, given her situation.
Shanaya's friends and family seemed happy that the budding actor was finally debuting. Her dad, Sanjay Kapoor, commented, 'Jai Mata Di,' and her mom, Maheep Kapoor, wrote, 'Love love love.' Her friend Navya Nanda wrote, 'Wohoooo Shan!!!' Anjini Dhawan commented with heart and star emojis. Fans were also intrigued, with one wondering, 'Is this an adaptation of 'the eyes have it'?' Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor headline the film that will be released on 11 July. This film will mark Shanaya's debut. She also stars in Mohanlal-starrer Vrushabha, which will be released on 16 October and Tu Yaa Main with Adarsh Gourav, which will be released on Valentine's Day next year.

Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Collection Day 2: Aamir Khan-starrer, Sitaare Zameen Par, hit the silver screen on Friday this week and scored a double digit figure at the box office right on the opening day. Directed by RS Prasanna, it is the spiritual sequel of Taare Zameen Par. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Sitaare Zameen Par made a business of ₹ 10.28 crore on Saturday, June 21. The film saw an overall 22.43% occupancy in Hindi language on Saturday. It also released in Tamil and Telugu. Sitaare Zameen Par had an overall 25.20% Tamil Occupancy on Saturday and 17.42% Telugu Occupancy. Evening Shows: yet to be accessed Night Shows: yet to be accessed As per Sacnilk, Sitaare Zameen Par collected an overall ₹ 20 crore worldwide till Friday, which includes ₹ 10.07 crore (India net) and ₹ 7.15 crore from overseas. The film earned ₹ 50 lakh each in Tamil and Telegu. The Aamir Khan movie was reported to release in theatres with over ₹ 6 crore business on day 1 if advance booking is considered. Without blocked seats, the Aamir Khan sequel was poised to make a business of ₹ 3.31 crore from advance booking ticket sales. Sitaare Zameen Par is following a strictly theatrical release policy which means it might not see its OTT release soon or ever. As per a report of Bollywood Hungama, the film is also experimenting with several new strategies. Going by the early reviews from the audience, the film has been dubbed as a 'well-intentioned film.' Critics reviews also hailed Aamir Khan's performance in the film. Sitaare Zameen Par is said to be the Hindi remake of the 2018 Spanish film, Campeones.
