Man fights for life after rollover crash on Perth's Kwinana Freeway
A man is fighting for his life in hospital after being cut free from the wreckage of a serious late-night freeway crash.
The 32-year-old was a passenger in a red Jeep Wrangler that veered off Perth's Kwinana Freeway and rolled near the intersection with Roe Highway in North Lake, in the city's southern suburbs, about 11.30pm on Sunday.
He was carefully removed from the vehicle and rushed to Royal Perth Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition on Monday.
The driver, a 22-year-old man, was also taken to RPH with minor injuries.
The crash closed the northbound lanes of the freeway for some time, with diversions in place while incident response teams attended the scene.
Major Crash investigators are examining the circumstances, and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.

A man has broken two bones in his leg after using himself as a human shield to assist police in their chase for an alleged criminal on a busy street in Perth. 'Doctors have told me it will take about a year to fully recover,' he said. 'I am lucky I have a great support network to help me'. Mr Mercuri's good friend Kasia Marsh described him as a 'deeply thoughtful man'. 'He is proud, generous and someone who's always there for others, whether it's a delicious meal, a helping hand, or a kind word,' she said. Man dies in horror three-vehicle crash in WA's Wheatbelt
A 27-year-old man has been killed in a crash in Western Australia's Wheatbelt region on Saturday, involving a sedan, a tow-truck and a road train. WA Police are seeking any information or video footage from the public relating to the crash in Chittering, about 70 kilometres north of Perth. 'About 11.10am, three vehicles – a prime mover truck towing one trailer, a tow truck and a white Nissan Pulsar sedan – were involved in a collision on the Great Northern Highway,' police said in a statement. 'The sedan and tow truck were travelling south on Great Northern Highway when the Nissan collided with an oncoming prime mover which then struck the tow truck. 'The driver of the Nissan, a 27-year-old man, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene. 'The 69-year-old prime mover driver and 71-year-old tow truck driver, both males, were not injured.'
