Penny oozed elegance in a plunging vintage Dolce & Gabbana dress paired with a chic Annabel Fenley percher hat.
She completed the look with gold heels and carried a stylish £1,100 Loewe Bee basket bag.
Her son Alastair looked dapper in traditional race day attire, donning a classic morning suit and a grey top hat.
The outing marked a rare public appearance for Alastair as the duo enjoyed the VIP treatment at Royal Ascot — the crown jewel of Britain's racing calendar.
The event will run through Saturday and King Charles and Queen Camilla are expected to appear in the ceremonial carriage procession, a beloved tradition at Ascot.
The glamorous appearance comes just weeks after Sir Rod Stewart, 80, and Penny turned heads at the London premiere of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning on May 23.
Days later Sir Rod was forced to cancel yet another of his Las Vegas shows.
The rocker, 80, was due to play in Las Vegas, Nevada, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Jun3 5, but has pulled out just days after cancelling another of his gigs.
Struck down with the flu, Sir Rod expressed his sadness for not being able to perform.
He took to Instagram to share the news with fans, who were sad to hear he was not feeling up to performing after doctors advised him against it.
"I'm awfully sorry to have to cancel my show June 5th at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace," he explained.
"My doctor ordered a bit more rest while I recover from the flu.
"Thanks for your love and understanding. Rod."
Sir Rod has performance and gig dates lined up all over the world this year.
Later this month he is due to take on the Legends slot at Glastonbury.
He recently revealed he fears he will die if he gives up touring.
He said: "I enjoy going out on tour now more than I've ever done at this ripe old age of 80.
"I'm doing seven concerts in Vegas and then I am everywhere around the world.
"I'm playing Athens, Germany, three nights in Buenos Aires, two nights in Rio, it goes on and on and on.
"It keeps me fit. You have got to be fit to do it.
"I would probably die if I didn't do it. I have seen so many guys that have to give up their career and retire and they have got nothing to wake up in the morning for.
"I don't know what they do with themselves.
"They must get up and go 'What do I do today? Down the betting shop? Have a drink?' I don't know."

Sam Smith puts on a quirky display in purple shorts and loafers as they enjoy a solo summer stroll through the streets of New York
Sam Smith put on a quirky display in purple shorts and loafers as they enjoyed a solo summer stroll through the streets of New York on Friday. The singer, 32, showcased their unique sense of style as they stepped out in sport shorts and a black vest top. They paired their relaxed look with black leather slip on flats and black socks as they seemed to enjoy some music during their walk. To accessorise the performer kept a low profile in a pair of black tinted sunglasses which they paired with a cap worn backwards and their expertly groomed moustache. Earlier this year Sam and singer Kesha supported their fashion designer boyfriend, Christian Cowan as he debuted his fall/winter 2025 collection at NYFW. They have been dating since 2022 after meeting when Christian collaborated with Sam on the costumes for their music video, I'm Not Here to Make Friends. Christian, whose clientele includes A-list stars Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B and Heidi Klum, confirmed his romance with Sam with a kiss in January 2023 as the two walked together arm-in-arm in New York. It marks Sam's first public relationship since their split from 13 Reasons Why actor Brandon Flynn, 30, and after they came out as non-binary in 2019. In 2019, Sam revealed that they identify as non-binary and asked to be addressed by the pronouns they/them instead of he/him. Sam wrote on Instagram at the time: 'After a lifetime of being at war with my gender I've decided to embrace myself for who I am, inside and out.' Speaking about their gender, Sam added: 'I'm not male or female, I think I flow somewhere in between. It's all on the spectrum.' The singer, known for hits Dancing With a Stranger, Too Good At Goodbyes and 2015 Bond track Writing's on the Wall, also said they are open to dating whomever they fall in love with. 'I generally have never really thought about people, any human beings, in rigid terms,' they shared. 'I've grown up in a family where the gender power balance and all these things were completely shifted. 'My mum worked, my dad was a househusband. 'My sisters are incredibly strong women.' As well as their romance with Brandon Flynn, Sam also dated Jonathan Zeizel and thanked the model for 'breaking their heart' because it led to four Grammy wins. Sam penned the track Stay With Me following their split and later vowed never to 'fall in love again with someone who doesn't love me back'.

Zak Starkey teams up with Paul McCartney and John Lennon's sons as they work on 'The Beatles kids' after he was sacked from The Who again
Zak Starkey has teamed up with Paul McCartney and John Lennon 's sons as they work on 'The Beatles kids' after he was sacked from The Who again. The son of Ringo Starr, 59, was fired from the band last month, just one month after he was sacked then quickly reinstated. He has now revealed that he is working on new music with Sean Lennon and James McCartney and they have collaborated on a song. Speaking in a new interview, Zak admitted that the idea was something he had avoided for fears of being 'judged forever.' He told The Sun: 'I thought it was a daft idea. But I've got to know James well over the last decade and Sean over the last five years and we have become great friends. 'Their music is great. I had a track called Rip Off and as we were communicating a lot I asked them to contribute.' Zak added: 'We were nervous in case there was no chemistry but there was loads and it sounded great. James' voice powerful it nearly blew me off my seat.' Sean, 48, is the second child of the late icon John, while James, 47, is Paul's only son and youngest child, who he welcomed with his late ex-wife Linda Eastman. In May, The Who guitarist Pete Townshend took to Instagram to announce that Zak, drummer since 1996, was no longer part of the band. But Zak quickly took to his own social media to claim that his departure was not a mutual decision and that he was fired from the band. His sacking comes just months ahead of the legendary bands farewell tour across North America and Pete revealed Scott Devours will replace him on drums. The statement from Pete read: 'After many years of great work on drums from Zak the time has come for a change. A poignant time. Zak has lots of new projects in hand and I wish him the best.' In a second post, Pete and Roger Daltrey added: 'The Who are heading for retirement, whereas Zak is 20yrs younger and has a great future with his new band and other exciting projects. 'He needs to devote all his energy into making it all a success. We both wish him all the luck in the world.' They continued: 'Scott Devours – Who fans will know him from Roger's solo shows – will be replacing Zak. We hope all our fans will welcome him. Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey'. Resharing The Who's post, Zak hit back: 'I was fired two weeks after reinstatement and asked to make a statement saying I had quit the who to pursue my other musical endeavours this would be a lie. 'I love the who and would never had quit. So I didn't make the statement ….quitting The Who would also have let down the countless amazing people who stood up for me (thank you all a million times over and more) thru the weeks of mayhem of me going 'in an out an in an out an in an out like a bleedin squeezebox x. 'To clarify "other projects" yes I do have other projects and always have. The Who have been sporadic or minimalist in touring most years apart from a two extensive tours in 2000 and 2006/7.' Zak continued to list his other previous projects before adding: 'Releasing singles but not touring cos members are so busy. None of this has ever interfered with The Who and was never a problem for them. 'The lie is or would have been that I quit The Who- I didn't. I love the who and everyone in it.' Zak again took to his Instagram account to share that his version of events had been contradicted yet again after a phone call with The Who singer-guitarist Roger. Zak said Roger told him he hadn't actually been fired and instead 'retired to work on his own projects'. Resharing The Who's post, Zak hit back: 'I was fired and asked to make a statement saying I had quit the who to pursue my other musical endeavours this would be a lie' He wrote: 'NOISE&CONFUSION!!!! I had a great phone chat with Roger at the end of last week which truly confused both of us!!! 'Rog said I hadn't been 'fired'…I had been 'retired' to work n my own projects. I explained to Rog that I have just spent nearly 8 weeks at my studio in Jamaica completing these projects, that my group Mantra Of The Cosmos was releasing one single at the beginning of June and after that had run its course ( usually 5/6 weeks ) I was completely available for the foreseeable future…. 'Rog said "Oh!" and we kind of left it there- On good terms and great friends as we have always been. 'Gotta love these guys. As my mum used to say "The mind boggles!!!" XXX.' It comes weeks after The Who .
