The anticipation for Bigg Boss 19 is building, and one of the earliest celebrity names making waves is that of popular actress Munmun Dutta, popularly known for playing the role of Babita Ji in the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. According to sources close to the production, Munmun has once again been approached by the show's creators, as revealed by The Times of India.
Interestingly, this isn't her first brush with Bigg Boss. Over the years, Munmun has been approached multiple times to participate but has consistently declined. Now, with talks surfacing again, fans are left wondering—could 2025 finally mark her entry into the Salman Khan-hosted reality show?
While there hasn't been any official word from either Munmun or the show's makers, fan pages and online communities are already abuzz with theories and expectations. Her potential appearance promises fiery debates, emotional moments, and unfiltered reality—a perfect recipe for gripping television.
It should also be noted that this comes days after it was confirmed that Bigg Boss will soon return with its season 19. For a long time now, uncertainty loomed over the upcoming season of Bigg Boss. Ever since the reports of an alleged rift between Colors TV and the show's production house, Banijay Asia, made headlines, it was said that the season 19 of Salman Khan's controversial reality show might be cancelled.
However, last month, a report by Pinkvilla claimed that Bigg Boss 19 is definitely happening and will be produced by Endemol Shine India. Reportedly, Salman Khan has also been confirmed as the host for another season, and he will begin shooting the first promo in June end. The show is likely to go on air in July. However, an official confirmation from the makers regarding Bigg Boss 19 is still awaited.
Meanwhile, talking about Munmun Dutta, she has been a part of TMKOC ever since its beginning. She plays the role of Babita ji in the popular sitcom and her chemistry with Jethalal (essayed by Dilip Joshi) is widely loved by all. Last year, it was also reported that Munmun is secretly engaged to her co-star Raj Anadkat. However, the actress dismissed the report.

India's richest singer, charges Rs 15 lakh per concert, still doesn't own a house, name is..., not AR Rahman, Arijit Singh, Sonu Nigam, Diljit Dosanjh

Known for his soulful voice and energetic stage presence, this celebrated singer once captivated the small screen by joining a reality show hosted by Bollywood's beloved superstar. While his appearance stirred conversations in 2018, it's his musical journey that truly defines his legacy. With a fan base that spans continents, he commands packed arenas and delivers unforgettable live performances, which have earned him the title of Bhajan Samrat. The Bhajan Samrat Of Singing Community Here we are talking about renowned singer Anup Jalota, popularly referred to as Bhajan Samrat, who was born on July 29, 1953. He began accompanying his father, Purshottam Das Jalota, who also sang bhajans, at the tender age of 7. Over time, Anup became one of the most renowned bhajan singers in India. Some of his most iconic bhajans include 'Aisi Laagi Lagan,' 'Main Nahi Makhan Khayo,' 'Rang De Chunariya,' 'Jag Me Sundar Hai Do Naam', and 'Chadariya Jhini Re Jhini.' His extensive record sales of bhajan albums have led to a significant net worth. According to Bharat Ojha, who manages his financial affairs, Anup earns nearly Rs 2 crore each month, as he revealed to Dainik Bhasakr in 2018 regarding his concert earnings both domestically and internationally. He mentioned that Anup typically charges between 8 to 10 lakh rupees for performances in India, which usually last between 45 minutes to an hour. His team consists of six members: five musicians and one female singer. On average, they perform 12 to 15 concerts in India each month, translating to earnings that range from 20 lakh to 1 crore rupees. For international shows, Anup charges around 15 to 16 lakh rupees per concert and does 3 to 4 concerts monthly. He is particularly popular in countries with a large Indian diaspora, and the demand for his performances there is substantial, contributing to an estimated monthly income of 60 lakh rupees from abroad. Anup Jalota's Personal Life Anup Jalota's personal life has also attracted attention due to his three marriages. In a 2024 interview with The Times of India, Anup discussed his marital history, stating, 'Sonali (Sheth) was my first wife, but we faced difficulties, leading to the end of our marriage. I'm happy she found a new partner in Roop Kumar Rathod. My second marriage to Bina (Bhatia) lasted only a year due to our differences and a lack of understanding between us. After experiencing lessons from these two unsuccessful marriages, I finally married Medha (Gujral), and we enjoyed a happy 21-year marriage. We have a son, Aryamann, who resides in New York. Sadly, Medha battled health issues and passed away in November 2014.' Since Aryamann lives in New York and does not stay with him, the bhajan singer has sold all his properties and currently owns no home in India. The 71-year-old artist has expressed in several interviews that he wishes to spare his son the burden of dealing with the formalities of selling his father's house after his death. Anup Jalota also participated in Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 12 in 2018. He was evicted from the show after surviving for 6 weeks.
