Nothing is teasing the upcoming Phone 3 model as its 'first true flagship' model. Now, the UK-based tech giant has officially announced the performance upgrade, highlighting that the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. Nothing also shared a detailed video on its official YouTube channel with Carl Pei detailing the new chipset. Carl Pei said, 'Compared to Phone (2), it's going to be 36% faster on CPU, 88% stronger on GPU, and 60% stronger on the NPU. But what it means in practice, it will feel a lot snappier.'

Well, this processor may raise some eyebrows among buyers since the processor is not as flagship as the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. It is said to be a cut-down version in terms of the GPU. Additionally, it does not come with an Oryon CPU, lacks K video recording, 4K/120fps slow-motion video, and more, which we usually expect from a flagship device. While it misses out on some features, it is still a powerful processor with impressive architecture. Therefore, it will be quite interesting to see the real-world usage of the processor with the Nothing Phone 3 model.
This year, Nothing is focusing on refining the design, performance, software, and bringing AI to the smartphone. While the official specifications are under the covers, the Nothing Phone 3 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1600nits peak brightness. It will likely feature a triple camera setup that may include a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Lastly, it is expected to be backed by a 5000mAh battery.

‘Hatke' vibes: Nothing Headphone 1 allegedly leaks ahead of July 1 launch

Nothing recently confirmed that it was going to launch its first-ever pair of headphones, called the Nothing Headphone 1, on July 1, alongside the company's flagship, the Nothing Phone 3. But now, just days before the launch, alleged images of the headphone pair in two different colourways, white and black, have surfaced online. Courtesy of an Instagram account that goes by the name @nothing_fan_blog, the account posted five images of the Nothing Headphone 1. Alleged image of the Nothing Headphone 1 in black. The first appears to be in white, while the second colour is black. If we think about it, this goes with what the brand has launched so far, including its earbuds, wherein it offered black and white variants. The headphones retain Nothing's signature transparent aesthetic. If there's one thing that's been constant with Nothing's products, including its phones or its audio gear, it has to be the transparent aesthetic, and this may remain the same with the Nothing Headphone 1. They appear to have a truly distinct aesthetic, which you will mostly not find on any other pair of headphones out in the open, and they will truly stand out when you wear them. A Closer Look As for the construction, the headphones appear to have a two-part construction; the base appears to be made out of metal while the top part appears to be constructed out of plastic. And if you have a closer look, you will spot buttons on the side of the headphones as well, and two are visible. Further, we also see a wire connected in the last image, but it's unclear if it's going to be a 3.5 mm jack or if it's a USB-C port. But from the construction of the wire, we can assume it's likely going to be a 3.5 mm headphone jack, which will allow for wired connectivity to your favourite output device. It currently isn't clear how much the Nothing Headphone 1 would cost, but so far, reports have suggested they could be priced around 299 Euros. MOBILE FINDER: iPhone 16 LATEST Price And More

Nothing Headphone 1 to launch in India on July 1, its sound will be tuned by premium audio company KEF

On July 1, Nothing is launching its Phone 3 in India. Now the company has confirmed that it will also be launching the Headphone 1, its first full-size headphones, in India on the same day. While it was earlier revealed that the Headphone 1 will be launched at Nothing's global event on July 1, on Friday, the company confirmed that the product is also coming to India on the same day. advertisementThe Nothing Phone 3 will also be coming to India on July 1. The confirmation about the headphones came from Akis Evangelidis, the co-founder of Nothing and its current India head. Akis tweeted on Friday, 'Headphone (1) will be launched in India at the same time as global.'Akis tweeted on the same day when multiple leaks confirmed the design of the Headphone 1. For its first big headphones, the company is going to follow a similar retro-futuristic design, complete with transparent back and industrial look, which it has so far followed with its phones. As for the earpads, it seems Nothing is going with a squarish shape instead of round, similar to some of the Bowers & Wilkins that we have seen earlier. The design also hints that the Headphone 1 is going to be a premium set of cans, with the headband using some metal and lots of padding. Along with the design, which has now come to light, we already know that the Headphone 1 will have its sound tuned by KEF. Now, KEF is a brand solely focussed on extremely high-end audio products. While its specialisation is in speakers, the brand also sells a headphone — KEF MU 7 — that is priced around $400. So, it is expected that the Headphone 1 may offer the kind of sound that punches above its weight and price point. advertisementAlthough more details about the Nothing Headphone 1 will become clear in the coming days, or on July 1, there is an indication that with its headphones, the company is taking an aim at the likes of Sony and Bose, which sell highly-regarded full-size wireless headphones. And, just like it does in the phone market, Nothing may possibly try to undercut the audio giants in pricing with the Headphone 1. This means it may come in around Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000. Along with the Headphone 1, Nothing is also launching the Phone 3 on July 1. The phone, which Nothing is calling its 'true flagship', is going to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. Compared to the Phone 2, it is also expected to feature a revamped camera system as well as other key improvements in areas like screen and sound system. It is expected that the Nothing Phone 3 may get a price of around Rs 60,000 in India.

Nothing to launch Headphone (1) on July 1, leak says it could look like a cassette player

Up until a point, Nothing was doing nothing (no pun intended), and all of a sudden, the London-based tech startup is all set to launch not one, but two new products. Also, we don't mean Nothing hasn't been working on new stuff — it's just that it's been a while since the company launched true high-end products. Case in point, the Nothing Phone (3) and the Nothing Headphone (1), the company's first-ever over-the-ear headphones. The Headphone (1) has been in the rumour mill ever since the company expanded its range beyond the Ear (1). Finally, it will be on July 1 that the Headphone (1) officially breaks cover, and as per Nothing's co-founder, Akis Evangelidis, the upcoming audio product is going to launch in India and other global markets at the same said that, apart from the launch date, Nothing hasn't shared any official details about the Headphone (1). However, that hasn't stopped the rumour mill from leaking some spicy renders and real-life images of the Nothing Headphone (1) have leaked from two different sources. As per Equal Leaks on X (formerly Twitter), the upcoming Headphone (1) looks like nothing we have ever seen before. The design is typical Nothing, and in one of the photos, the USB Type-C port and the 3.5mm jack are slightly visible. Credit: Equal Leaks / X (formerly Twitter) Looking at the real-life images posted by Nothing Fan Blog on Instagram, these pictures give us a better idea of what we're looking at in terms of colours. There's a white shade with silver inserts, while there's a black shade with dark grey inserts. The retro-inspired design of the Headphone (1) itself looks quite unique. On both earcups, there's this rectangular base with a transparent oval island on top, connected to the headband. The oval island reminds one of cassette players from the past. Honestly, it looks quite the looks of it, on one of the earcups, there's a button on the rectangular base, along with two more buttons on the sides. The images also suggest that the ports and buttons are placed on the same from this, there are two types of branding on both the earcups of the Headphone (1). On one side, there's 'Headphone (1)', while the other cup mentions 'Sound by KEF'. For those who don't know, Nothing and KEF — an audio brand that specialises in speakers and headphones — announced a partnership last month. The Nothing Headphone (1) looks to be the first product of this new partnership, with more expected to come in the in terms of pricing, the Nothing Headphone (1) will reportedly cost $309 (roughly Rs 26,800) in the US and 299 Pounds (roughly Rs 35,000) in the UK. As for the Indian pricing, we'll get to know pretty soon, as July 1 is not very far.
