I can't wait to tuck into: a steak dinner at Eugène Eugène
I am already thinking about the bavette steak at Eugène Eugène, a stunning restaurant tucked away at Kempinski Mall of the Emirates.
I have been known to pull up a chair here for the bread basket alone and coupled with Eugene's greenhouse vibe, this is one of those places to hunker down any evening of the week. Just be sure to book ahead as chances are other diners are dreaming of being here this weekend too.
Open daily noon-11.30pm. Kempinski Mall of the Emirates, Al Barsha, 04 379 8963 (kempinski.com).
You'll see me at: La Cantine Beach
(Credit: La Cantine Beach)
Ooh, this is a beautiful spot. You'll definitely get a good Insta down here while and whether you choose a beachy spot or a lounger by the pool, you'll see what I mean in no time.
Be to try something fresh from the grill and perhaps a wagyu beef carpaccio before you head home. Although not redeemable with your pool pass, the menu is too good to pass up on.
Dhs200 (weekdays), Dhs250 (weekends). Open daily 10am-midnight, Delano, Bluewaters Island, lacantinebeach.ae (04 556 6622).
There's no way I'm missing: a yoga class at Delano Dubai
You'll find me bright and early at Delano Dubai resort over on Bluewaters (I know, there's a theme) as HWH Pilates Studio is hosting a morning yoga class. As part of your ticket, you'll also find a goodie bag from Shiseido waiting for you on your yoga mat.
Dhs250. Sat Jun 7, 10.30am. Delano Dubai, Bluewaters @hwhstudiodubai

You'll see me at: a dreamy beach-club pop-up
The 305 has teamed up with Benefit this summer to give us the beach club takeover of dreams.
Honestly? There's nowhere else I'd rather spend the bumper long weekend. For Dhs200, you get pool and beach access, two drinks and a dish, two Benefit goodies and a brow service thrown in. For an extra Dhs50, you can also bag a sunbed. Count me in.
From Dhs200. Open Sun-Thu 9am-10pm; Fri-Sat 9am-midnight. The Club, Palm West Beach, Palm Jumeirah, solutions-leisure.com (04 423 8322).
I can't wait to tuck into: an Acai Bowl and an iced blueberry matcha
Hot weather calls for cool snacks, and I'll be grabbing both of these at Joe and the Juice, which has just opened a brand-new branch at Dubai Marina Mall.
Prices vary. Open Mon-Fri 7.30am-11pm; Sat-Sun 7.30am-midnight. Dubai Marina Mall, @joeandthejuiceuae
There's no way I'm missing: a sweaty workout at Dryp
It may be hot in Dubai, but there is still nowhere else I'd rather spend my free time than sweating in an extra-hot studio doing a Pilates sculpt class. Dryp utilises infrared technology, giving you plenty of incredible health benefits as well as those lovely post-sweat endorphins.
Prices vary. Open Mon-Wed 6am-10pm,Thu 7.30pm-10pm, Fri 7.30am-7pm, Sat 8am-6.30pm, Sun 8am-8pm. Dryp, Oraa Marina Tower, Dubai Marina, Dubai, dryp.ae (04 220 5330).

You'll see me: exploring a busy food hall
I'm heading to Market Island at Dubai Festival City Mall to film a vlog for our TikTok page. It's one of the largest food halls in the region, so there's plenty of choice.
While I'm there, I'll pick up a new speaker for the office since our current one has, sadly, seen better days. As a reward, I expect there to be strictly no Taylor Swift played when we get back (sorry, Swifties). And, since I'm a sucker for a trend, I might actually pick up one of those Lababus that everyone keeps talking about.
I can't wait to tuck into: some of the city's top Asian dishes
This one is a real toss-up between two of our favourite anti-tourist trap restaurants. It's been a minute since I visited the rubber ducks at Kokoro Handroll Bar and tucked into a crab handroll, so I need to go back to see if it's as good as I remember.
The same goes for the ketoprak at Harummanis. You know what? Since we've got four days off, I don't have to choose. I'll go to both.
Kokoro Handroll Bar: Open Mon-Sun from noon. Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz, eatkokoro.xyz
Harummanis: Open Mon 6pm-11pm, Tue-Sun noon -11pm. Al Wasl 51, Jumeirah 1, harummanissg.com (056 536 1674).
There's no way I'm missing: The chance to take it easy
In a city as wild as Dubai, it's rare that you get a moment to yourself to switch off. From historical exhibits to a quiet pint to yourself, our introvert's guide to Dubai is calling my name.
Sian Traynor: Features Editor
You'll see me: Trundling along Sheikh Zayed Road on the way to my Eid staycation.
After spending the last few weeks sharing all of the best hotel deals, it would be rude not to make the most of one for myself.
I've got my eye on a night or two in a lush room at Banyan Tree, which is offering 20 percent off rates, a daily brekkie and 20 percent off in dining and spa treatments for UAE residents.
Paired with a sea view to wake up to every morning, I'll be in my element.
Bluewaters Island, banyantree.com (04 556 6666).
I can't wait to tuck into: Blueprint cookies
Usually I'm a savoury girl, but for some reason cookies don't seem to apply to this rule.
So when I heard Floridian favourite Blueprint was opening its first Dubai store, a visit to try the Mom's Apple Pie flavour was immediately scheduled in my diary.
Can't get to the new branch? Try one of our other top cookie picks here.
Opening Fri Jun 6. Mall of the Emirates, blueprintcookie.com.
There's no way I'm missing: A Dhs1 car rental
Yes, you heard correctly. SelfDrive mobility are offering daily car rentals for Dhs1, as a special deal for Eid Al Adha, meaning you can hit the road for almost nothing.
I'll be rolling up to my staycay in a brand-new whip and might even swing round on one of these two-hour road trip routes on the way home.
From Dhs1. Jun 5-8, selfdrive.ae (600 567564).

Meghan Markle issues major business update after U-turn decision on jam
Meghan Markle has teased fans by announcing an upcoming drop of new products from her lifestyle brand, just weeks after sharing she would 'pause' the highly-anticipated restocks Meghan Markle has shared a long-awaited update on her lifestyle brand As Ever, announcing the release date for her new line of products. In a cryptic Instagram post, Meghan said that a range of 'delicious surprises' will be in store for her second brand launch. She wrote on her As Ever Instagram account: 'Oh yes, honey…sweet things await. We're bringing back your favorites, plus some delicious surprises you won't want to miss!' Fans won't have to wait long to get their hands on the new range, with Meghan telling her followers to "mark your calendars" for June 20 at 8am PT (4pm UK time). Along with the caption, Meghan added a picture of a stack of pancakes, topped with sweet raspberries and a generous drizzle of honey. The picture has many speculating that Meghan's delicious honey will once again be for sale, along with her famous jams. In a newsletter to fans, she said: "First off, a sincere thank you for making the debut of As ever absolutely extraordinary. We had a feeling there would be excitement, but to see everything sell out in less than an hour was an amazing surprise. "We are pleased to share that on June 20th, we're going live with the products you love – plus, some new delicious surprises," adding that "so much love has gone into this". The news of the restock comes after Meghan made candid comments that she would be "taking a step back" from her lifestyle brand, as she said in an interview that she wanted to "gather data and figure out what As Ever could be." Meghan told Fast Company that her products wouldn't be available again until the first quarter of next year, saying the brand would be shifting to focus on a seasonal approach. She told the publication: "I want to really focus on the hospitality angle of As Ever, but as we take the learnings, we can understand what the customer's needs are seasonally." A trademark application for As Ever showed that her brand may one day intend to sell the likes of cookbooks, tableware and cutlery, along with the food items she currently sells. But she added that fashion is also something she wants to dabble in too. She added: "The category of fashion is something I will explore at a later date because I do think that's an interesting space for me." Despite announcing that the brand would be taking a temporary hiatus, Meghan made a huge U-turn as she announced just weeks later that her As Ever products, including her famous jams, would be restocked. Speaking on a podcast with Beyoncé's mother Tina, she said she wanted to wait until the brand is "completely stable and we have everything we need" before announcing new products or restocks. However, just hours later, Meghan shared a photo of jam-making preparations including bowls of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, and freshly squeezed lemons, on her Instagram stories, writing: "June gloom?' Not over here! Because this month your favourite products are back." Her official As Ever account also posted: "To all who've been wondering and waiting, thank you. Your favourites are returning, plus a few NEW things we can't wait to show you. Coming this month…get excited!" Meghan's first line of products, that went on sale online in March, included raspberry spread, honey, herbal tea and ready made crepe mix, and sold within a half an hour.

Katherine Ryan sports £27 high street mascara shoppers praise as 'the best ever'
Comedian Katherine Ryan is currently pregnant with her second child but she's still finding time to share her favourite beauty products - and it seems she's finally found 'the one' when it comes to mascara Katherine Ryan, known for her comedic chops on shows like Would I Lie To You?, seems to be eyeing a side gig as a beauty influencer. The television favourite has been dishing out beauty tips, and her latest endorsement of a high street mascara is turning heads. On TikTok, the comedian, who just announced her fourth pregnancy, shared an impressive before-and-after snapshot of her eyelashes, captioning it: "Am I the only one who puts mascara on by blinking slowly?" Katherine revealed that mascara was one of the beauty staples where she rates high street products above designer brands. The focus of her TikTok was Benefit's They're Real Mascara, which Katherine hailed as "the ONE". She said: "I've seen a lot of mascara reviews on here, and I know I'm going to get in trouble in a minute because it is 7.56 pm and I'm on stage in four minutes, but I'm ready as soon as I get on." She clarified her stance, saying: "I don't have an affiliate link and I'm not selling anything, but I use some designer make-up products but never mascara. For some reason, I think high street ones are better. This is Benefit They're Real." Katherine also mentioned her preference for high street mascaras that "don't flake" and her fondness for mini versions for ease of travel, reports the Mirror. If you're tempted by Katherine's lash transformation, the mini mascara is available for £15 at Selfridges, or take advantage of LookFantastic's current deal offering a full-size They're Real Mascara plus a travel-sized one for £27 (valued at £42). Katherine's TikTok fans are eager to pop the mascara into their virtual baskets after witnessing her lashes adorned with a layer of the product. One asked: "Katherine how the hell are your lashes that long??" Another expressed her fondness for the Benefit product, commenting: "Nothing beats Benefit mascara!", while another added: "I've loved Benefit mascara for the longest time." One more fan enthused: "This is the best mascara ever. I've used it for years. Can't beat it." "I shall NEVER return to my old drug store mascara... Benefit has my heart," a final user declared. The mascara itself boasts a formula designed to elongate and amplify lashes for a faux-lash effect, offering up to 36 hours of wear that resists smudging, transferring, and flaking, as Katherine attests. Yet, some of her followers argue that a £15 mascara – even a mini – doesn't quite fit the high street bill. For those seeking a recommendation under £10, there are plenty of alternatives being suggested. One TikToker recommends Maybelline's Sky High Mascara, currently available on Amazon for £8. Others are vouching for L'Oreal's renowned Telescopic Mascara, which is on sale for £9.59 at present. Beauty deal of the week Looking for last minute gift inspiration for dad ahead of Sunday, June 15. Then don't fret, as we have you covered, as no-one can go wrong with a new bottle of cologne, and we have spotted Versace's The Dreamer for him Eau de Toilette for 67 percent less at Superdrug. Hailed for being "underrated" and "truly unique", a large 100ml bottle of this fragrance has been dropped from £74 to £24, allowing you to make a huge saving of £50 and get in a thoughtful gift. Described as "warm" and "fresh", Versace's Dreamer is an aromatic fragrance that, while belonging to the cologne family, is said to boast a variety of notes that make it suitable for both men and women. The scent opens on vibrant notes of juniper, tarragon, and artemisia, before blending into heart notes of iris, lily and flax flowers to add a touch of softness. It then ends on a comforting base of tobacco blossom and amber, offering a smoky, luxurious finish. The transparent, clear fragrance itself is housed in an opulent glass bottle that has been embossed with the iconic medusa logo, representing the luxury aesthetic of the iconic fashion house. Versace's Dreamer EDT has managed to earn glowing reviews and a 4.6 rating from shoppers, with one saying: "Truly unique and dreamy fragrance. It's a great fragrance but it's underrated. Guys you have to try this one, it's great for all year round." And someone else wrote: "Not to be overlooked. This is a lesser known Versace men's fragrance but oh my it is gorgeous ! Hubby loved it and amazing value for money."
