
It's official: Jr NTR, not Allu Arjun, to star in Trivikram's film
Producer Naga Vamsi confirmed that the upcoming movie from director Trivikram Srinivas will star Jr NTR in the lead. Reports say Allu Arjun was initially chosen to play the lead in the movie. Vamsi added that Trivikram is also working with seasoned actor Venkatesh.
'Trivikram garu's next two projects are locked with @VenkyMama sir and @tarak9999 anna. Everything else is mere speculation. Any confirmed project of Trivikram garu will be announced by me in this space,' wrote Vamsi.
The statement from Vamsi comes a couple of months after it was reported that Allu Arjun would be reuniting with Trivikram following their 2020 blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. During a media interaction in March, producer Y Ravi Shankar of the banner Mythri Movie Makers, said Allu Arjun would be collaborating with Atlee and Trivikram before joining firector Sukumar for Pushpa 3.
The Trivikram project is touted to be a mythological film. Naga Vamsi shared a cryptic post, hinting the genre of the movie. 'My most favourite anna as one of the most powerful gods. God of war is coming,' Vamsi had posted on X. Trivikram and Jr NTR had previously collaborated for Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava (2018).

Meanwhile, Jr NTR will next be seen in War 2, also starring Hrithik Roshan. The Hindi action drama is slated to hit the thescreens on August 14, 2025. The actor is currently filming for KGF and Salaar director Prashanth Neel's movie. Allu Arjun is currently shooting for a big-budget action drama with Atlee. Deepika Padukone is the female lead of the movie. Trivikram's last project was Guntur Kaaram, starring Mahesh Babu. The movie failed to live up to the expectations at the box office.

‘War 2' will be a lifetime experience for fans: Ayan Mukerji
The much-awaited sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War is all set to storm the theatres on August 14, 2025. Titled War 2, the film brings together Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan and Telugu superstar Jr NTR in a high-octane action entertainer that promises double the thrill. While the original was helmed by Siddharth Anand, the sequel is directed by Brahmastra filmmaker Ayan Mukerji.
