Israeli Forces Open Fire near Diplomats Touring West Bank: PA
The Palestinian Authority (PA) accused Israeli forces of opening fire on foreign diplomats while visiting Jenin city in the occupied West Bank.
On Wednesday, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry said that Israeli troops opened 'heavy fire from inside the Jenin refugee camp to intimidate the diplomatic delegation that is conducting a field tour around the camp.' The tour aimed to explore the camp's conditions.
It posted video footages showing dozens of people, including photographers, near an army checkpoint in Jenin and two Israeli soldiers pointing their guns towards them. Then, shots are being heard and people escape to their cars.

In a statement, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned what it called a 'heinous crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces, which deliberately targeted by live fire an accredited diplomatic delegation to the State of Palestine during a field visit to Jenin Governorate.'
The statement added that 'this deliberate and unlawful act constitutes a blatant and grave breach of international law and of the fundamental principles of diplomatic relations as enshrined in the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.'
The Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that the diplomatic delegation included the ambassadors of Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Portugal, China, Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Türkiye, Spain, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Japan, Romania, Mexico, Sri Lanka, Canada, India, Chile, France, the UK, the European Union, and representatives of other countries.
On the other hand, the Israeli military said it fired 'warning shots' after diplomats departed from their authorized path during a visit to the city of Jenin, reported Agence France-Presse (AFP).
'The delegation deviated from the approved route and entered an area where they were not authorized to be,' the Israeli military said in a statement, adding that 'soldiers operating in the area fired warning shots.'

Iranian Parliament Approves Closure of Strait of Hormuz after US Strikes
The Iranian Parliament approved on Sunday the closure of the Strait of Hormuz following the US attacks that targeted Iranian nuclear facilities, according to Gulf News. Final Decision The measure was submitted to Iran's Supreme National Security Council to make the final decision, Iran's Press TV said on Sunday. 'The parliament has voted overwhelmingly in favor of authorizing the closure of the Strait,' state news agencies reported. Revolutionary Guards Commander Esmail Kosari told the Young Journalist Club that closing the Strait of Hormuz, a significant maritime corridor for global oil shipments, is on the agenda and 'will be done whenever necessary.' US Attacks on Iran The step comes less than 24 hours after the US airstrikes targeted Iran's nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan. 'The United States showed that they have no respect to United Nations Charter. They have no respect to international law. They crossed a very big red line by attacking nuclear facilities,' Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said. Moreover, Araghchi accused Trump of not only betraying Iran by abusing its commitment to diplomacy but also deceiving his own voters by implementing to the wishes of a war criminal. 'He has betrayed not only Iran by abusing our commitment to diplomacy but also deceived his own voters by submitting to the wishes of a wanted war criminal who has grown accustomed to exploiting the lives and wealth of American citizens to further the Israeli regime's objectives,' he added. Israel-Iran War On June 13, Israel launched a wave of airstrikes on Iran under the name of Operation Rising Lion. The military campaign targeted Iran's nuclear facilities and killed top military commanders and nuclear scientists. As a response, Iran launched a retaliatory wave of missiles against Israel and targeted Tel Aviv. Israel also killed three more Iranian nuclear scientists, bringing the total number of scientists slain to nine, Gulf News reported. Currently, both countries are trading missiles and attacks amid intensifying efforts to halt the conflict. Iranian FM Heads to Moscow for Urgent Talks with Putin
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is set to head to Russia today for urgent talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin after the US strikes, according to Sky News. Urgent Talks with Russia Araghchi announced that he will meet Putin and have 'serious consultations' in Moscow after the US launched airstrikes against significant Iranian nuclear sites. 'We always consult with each other and coordinate our positions,' Araghchi said. US Strikes on Iran Speaking after the OIC's Summit in Istanbul, the Iranian Foreign Minister condemned US attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities and labeled it as 'a violation of humanitarian law.' 'The United States showed that they have no respect to United Nations Charter. They have no respect to international law. They crossed a very big red line by attacking nuclear facilities,' he added. Betrayal Accusation Moreover, Araghchi accused Trump of not only betraying Iran by abusing its commitment to diplomacy but also deceiving his own voters by implementing to the wishes of a war criminal. 'He has betrayed not only Iran by abusing our commitment to diplomacy but also deceived his own voters by submitting to the wishes of a wanted war criminal who has grown accustomed to exploiting the lives and wealth of American citizens to further the Israeli regime's objectives,' he added. Netanyahu Drags Trump into War Araghchi added that Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu 'dragged Trump into war with Iran.' The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that the US cannot escape the consequences of its airstrikes against Iran. IRGC also said that Iran would not fear Israel or the US, calling them 'criminal gangs ruling the White House and Tel Aviv'. A Call for Interational Condemnation On his part, Araghchi also underscored that Tehran did not commit any mistakes, and it is difficult to understand 'why we were attacked based on a false claim.' He also stressed that the international community must condemn the US attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities.
