Wiz Khalifa On Why He Believes Earth Is A ‘Flat Plane': ‘It's Only Because I've Travelled So Much'
Wiz Khalifa seemingly believes Earth is flat and "we live on a flat plane".
Wiz Khalifa seemingly believes Earth is flat.
The 'Black and Yellow' rapper has rejected the notion the planet is round and is convinced that humans reside on a 'huge flat plane".
Asked if he thinks Earth is round, he said in a Patreon episode of 'The Joe Budden Podcast': 'No.
'I just believe that we live on a flat plane, like a huge flat plane.
'It's only because I've travelled so much."
But guest host and academic Marc Lamont Hill then asked Wiz if he had ever travelled to the edge of the Earth.
Seemingly referring to the supercontinent of Pangaea, he said: 'Nah, it's not that. I think that there's more masses than just what we see because it was one thing before and it spread out.
'Because when I travel, the routes that we take and how we do it, it's not possible to go up and down. You're just going straight. That's the only reason I think that."
The 37-year-old musician also cast doubt on space exploration.
He said: 'I don't believe in space exploration at all. I don't believe that they explore space as much as they say that they do."
Despite his comments, the 'See You Again' hitmaker's latest album, 'Kush + Orange Juice 2', features a photo of a round Earth on its cover.
The record is a follow-up to his 2010 album but Wiz recently admitted he 'wasn't into doing a sequel" and 'would always leave 'Kush + Orange Juice' alone", but his thoughts changed when he began working on the record.
He told Grammy.com: 'I just thought, 'What would be the most satisfying for the fans and the people who support me? Should I start over and do something brand new, or re-create something that they already love and that they're already used to?'
'So that's what made me make the decision to work on a follow-up."

Newborn photography trends as more parents try to capture moments in heartwarming clicks
1 2 3 Pune: At just 15 days old, Kush Saha lay wrapped in soft fabrics, with a peacock feather tucked in and a flute by his side, resting on a bed of vibrant flowers—ready for his first photo. "We wanted Kush to depict Lord Krishna as he was born on Janmashtami. It was a beautiful setting and Kush cooperated so well in the entire shoot. We also experimented with other themes and settings," said Malini Saha, his mother, a resident of Pashan. With more parents wanting to capture early birth memories in unique, artistic manners, professional newborn photography has become highly sought after. Most of these shoots happen when the baby is 15-25 days old, and the photographs are taken when the baby is in deep sleep. "The photographers told us that older babies are tougher to handle during shoots as they get cranky. So we decided to take baby Anya for the shoot when she was only 20 days old. The photographers were professionally trained, so safety was not an issue for us," said Aditi Sharma, a resident of Wanowrie. Anya, in her first ever click was depicted as an angel, surrounded by delicate wings and soft glowing light—a fairy-tale scene where she rested peacefully in a tiny cradle. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo "When babies are in their newborn stage, they are sleeping most of the time, so it is easy to move them and style them in a safe manner. We wrap them according to how they were in their mother's womb. Most of the shoots are done when the babies are 2-4 weeks old," said Taronish Bulsara, who runs Tiny Treasure Studio at Salisbury Park. Through the setups, pre-selected by the parents, each photographer aims to capture the innocence and timeless beauty of a newborn, blending in cultural symbolism, nature, and fantasy to create magical and heart-warming memories. Kaustubh and Sneha Ghatol, who run Vibrant Shades Photography, have shot with about 1900 newborns over the last 4-5 years. "The ideal weight of the baby for photography should be 2.4 kg or more. We mostly do studio sessions because it's a controlled environment. The babies are wrapped in a comfort layer and a styling wrap. Shoots typically take 1.5 hours because we also have to keep in mind the comfort and needs of the baby during the shoot," said Kaustubh. Photographers charge upwards of Rs15,000 for a studio shoot with three setups and props. "We use a special light source designed for newborn photography, where diffusers are used, and the light is kept soft. We have also taken training on things like how to keep the baby calm during the shoot, wrapping styles, etc. Safety is of utmost priority because parents are trusting us with their little ones," said Manasi Deopurkar, a photographer based in Bavdhan.

Chris Hemsworth's Thor 5 could be in the works, and why that is a brilliant idea
It's been three years since Thor made an independent outing on the big screen, and failed miserably with the 2022 film 'Thor: Love And Thunder'. And just when the hopes of having another Thor movie were being dimmed, a fresh report has suggested that the fifth film in the franchise could just be in the works. Don't hold your horses yet, though. It's just a Richtman, who's often regarded as an industry insider, especially when it comes to the Marvel cinematic universe, shared the news via his Patreon account. Now, it may or may not be true, but it's enough to keep the hope alive. Because, well, a flop outing doesn't make the entire franchise look less sparkly, especially when there's a lot to explore in the Hercules during his latest post, shared that Marvel has green-lit 'Thor 5', and while nothing much about the film has been discussed or finalised yet, director Taika Waititi is not returning to helm the fifth part - which is not a surprise considering the response that the last Thor film got, and his comments on social media that heavily upset the fans. 'Thor 5', if the report is to be believed, is going to be a part of the MCU's next saga, post-'Avengers: Secret Wars'. The latest Avengers movie - 'Avengers: Doomsday'-is already being shot for a December 16, 2026 release. 'Thor 5' will have to come way later in the pipeline. But, that's fine as long as it is in the 'Thor' universe, Loki died in 'Avengers: Infinity War' and our God of Thunder got to know about his love, Jane Foster's death in 'Thor: Love And Thunder'. Thor now has a daughter, named Love, who is the daughter of Gorr the God Butcher, but is resurrected by Eternity and taken in by Thor. It will be interesting to see how the MCU plans a new timeline, and further new twists to appreciate all that Thor has done so far. Honestly, he is the oldest avenger with divine qualities until Wanda Maximoff entered the universe and became an avenger in 2015. It is only wise to dedicate another film to our mighty God of Thunder and give the franchise a chance to redeem a lot that Thor is yet to explore, including navigating through Loki's death and fixing the world with his daughter. Also, if 'Thor 5' happens, Thor would become the only avenger to have five independent movies in the Avenger universe.
