‘It Works:' Woman Shares How to Find Out if Furniture Fits in Your Car—Before You Buy From Facebook Marketplace
A woman says ChatGPT is your best friend for finding out whether an online furniture find will fit in your ride.
Earlier this week, Gabriella Caruso (@gabxcaruso) revealed how she incorporates artificial intelligence in her online shopping ventures. Her advice could save you the trouble of having to phone a friend with a pickup truck or rent something to haul your purchase in.

ChatGPT + Facebook Marketplace
Online retail hubs like Facebook Marketplace can offer great secondhand deals. A pro tip is to set your location to areas where a lot of remodeling is going on, such as neighborhoods in the process of gentrification.
But once you find that perfect office chair, you typically have to go pick it up. Even with measurements, it can be difficult to be absolutely certain it'll fit in your vehicle.
Caruso says
artificial intelligence
(AI), specifically ChatGPT, offers a perfect solution. She claims that the popular AI software will tell you if that Herman Miller chair will fit in your brand new
Suzuki Jimny
.
'My most genius ChatGPT hack that I've never heard anyone talk about is when you're buying furniture on Facebook Marketplace,' Caruso says. 'Put the dimensions of the furniture, along with your car's make and model into ChatGPT.'
She says that after a quick scan of available data pertaining to both the furniture and the specific vehicle, the AI 'will tell you whether it'll fit or not.' According to her, this method has saved her a lot of legwork trying to figure out if she needs a specialized vehicle to haul secondhand items she buys online.
'It works every single time,' she says.
Best Vehicles for Hauling Furniture
ChatGPT may offer a helpful solution to 'will it fit' woes, but there are some basic guidelines that can give you an idea of whether something will fit without resorting to AI. Certain vehicle types and styles simply fit things better.
Obviously, pickup trucks are first on the list. Large SUVs come second, followed by smaller SUVs and crossovers.
Taller vehicles also typically can fit larger items than their shorter counterparts. Similarly, hatchbacks and fastbacks are likely to fit more than many sedans. And a sedan that has a backseat you can lie down to make the passenger compartment and trunk a single space will logically fit more than one without this capability.
If you're still not sure, you may want to ask

ChatGPT and Cars
Car enthusiasts and average drivers alike are increasingly turning to ChatGPT for assistance.
Yahoo
reports that prospective buyers can use it to find the best automotive deals in their area with the program.
The outlet recommends inputting a budget, car models, and necessary features in your query. You can also ask it to scan for any timely and pertinent incentives and rebates. And you can have it scan for dealerships within the vicinity of a specific area.

Yahoo
adds that you can use the AI to compare vehicles you're interested in and to find what the standard trade-in value of your vehicle might be. It also suggests using the software to consider finance rates.
In a similar vein,
USA Today
reports that online car sellers like Edmunds and CarGurus have ChatGPT plugins. It assists potential customers with selecting vehicles that suit their needs.
A Better Way Than Showing Up and Hoping for the Best
Caruso's advice to use ChatGPT to see if something will fit in your car was met with widespread praise.
'I AUDIBLY GASPED AT HOW SMART THIS IS,' one wrote.
Another laughingly compared her method to the way they pick up furniture, writing, 'This is so smart!! Personally, I just show up and hope for the best.'
'This is actually life changing advice thank you,' a third said.
One person offered their own advice on getting furniture delivered in a pinch. 'If it doesn't fit, order an Uber XL to deliver it to you :) I've done this a few times!'
Yet another said they tried it and it works.
'Dude I love doing this and I'm not even kidding it is so accurate,' they wrote. 'My desk fit in my man's car with ONE CENTIMETER TO SPARE. IT WAS SO CLOSE TO NOT FITTING.'

Nvidia Is Quickly Approaching a New Record High. Is It Too Late to Buy NVDA Stock?
As the market remains vulnerable to a plethora of uncertainties, it seems that there is one constant: the dominance of chip giant Nvidia (NVDA) in the world of artificial intelligence (AI). The stock, which took a tumble due to China-related issues, primarily related to the emergence of DeepSeek and new tariffs under President Donald Trump, has made a strong comeback and is just about 5% off from its record highs. Touted as the 'Godfather of AI' by celebrated tech analyst Dan Ives, CEO Jensen Huang and his company are critical to not only the U.S.'s global prowess in chips, but are increasingly becoming key to diplomatic negotiations. 2 Outstanding Stocks Under $50 to Buy and Hold Now 3 ETFs with Dividend Yields of 12% or Higher for Your Income Portfolio Nvidia's Bringing Sovereign AI to Germany. Should You Buy NVDA Stock Here? Stop Missing Market Moves: Get the FREE Barchart Brief – your midday dose of stock movers, trending sectors, and actionable trade ideas, delivered right to your inbox. Sign Up Now! Have investors looking to add Nvidia to their portfolios missed the train, or is there still time to load up on the stock, which is up 8.3% on a YTD basis? Let's find out. Not even a decade ago, Nvidia was a niche company, mostly popular among gamers for its GPUs. Now, after 10 years its shares have soared more than 28,000%, driving the company to a valuation above $3.5 trillion. Nvidia is also closing in on new record highs as it is just 5% shy of the record $153.13 set early in January. The company that designs and sells advanced chips and software platforms — primarily for AI, data centers, gaming, and autonomous systems – counts tech majors such as Microsoft (MSFT), Amazon (AMZN), Google (GOOGL), Tesla (TSLA), Oracle (ORCL), ChatGPT maker OpenAI, and nearly every major AI and cloud company as its customer. From hyperscalers to sovereign AI, Nvidia is becoming more and more irreplaceable. Central to this are Nvidia's Blackwell chips. According to Huang's keynote at GTC 2025, 'The Blackwell architecture significantly enhances AI model training and inference, enabling more efficient and scalable AI applications. And the next evolution of the Nvidia Blackwell AI factory platform, Blackwell Ultra, will be coming to systems in the second half of this year.' Further bolstering its dominance in the GPU industry, where it already commands a near-monopoly with a-greater-than-90% market share, Nvidia has outlined a compelling product roadmap that is expected to reinforce its leadership position even more firmly. In addition to the Blackwell Ultra platform, the company is progressing toward launching next-generation GPU systems such as the Vera Rubin NVL144, which is anticipated in the second half of 2026, and the Rubin Ultra NVL576, scheduled for release a year later in late 2027. Nvidia's influence across the AI ecosystem remains unmatched, underpinned by both its relentless hardware innovation and a deeply intertwined software stack. Nvidia's dominant market position and constant endeavours to scale and innovate has not been at the expense of its financials. In fact, Nvidia's remarkable track record of outperforming market forecasts on both revenue and earnings remained intact in the most recent quarter, solidifying what may well be one of the most impressive streaks in recent corporate history. The company's fiscal first quarter of 2026 saw total revenue surge to $44.1 billion, reflecting a robust 69% year-over-year increase. Driving this performance was Nvidia's data center segment, which contributed a dominant $39.1 billion, representing annual growth of 73%. On the bottom line, the chipmaker once again exceeded Wall Street's expectations. Earnings per share came in at $0.81, outperforming the consensus projection of $0.75. Looking ahead, analysts are anticipating further momentum, with estimates placing next quarter's earnings per share at $0.94 on revenue of $45.59 billion. That said, not all metrics were flawless. The company's gross margin declined to 61%, down from 78.9% in the corresponding period last year — a notable compression. Still, Nvidia continues to command a dominant market share in the GPU segment, easing investor concerns about intensifying competition. Management also reiterated their full-year margin guidance, aiming for levels in the mid-70% range, underscoring confidence in the underlying business model. From a cash flow perspective, Nvidia demonstrated exceptional strength. Net cash provided by operating activities reached $27.4 billion, a year-over-year increase of 79.1%. The quarter ended with the company holding $53.7 billion in cash and equivalents, and notably, no short-term debt. This highlights the firm's formidable liquidity profile and positions it favorably for ongoing capital allocation, investment, and strategic flexibility. Overall, analysts are projecting Nvdia's forward revenue and earnings growth rates to be at 59.97% and 64.95%, much higher than the sector medians of 7.14% and 11.08%, respectively. As I highlighted in a previous article, the impact of new restrictions on H20 shipments to China was lower than expected in Q1. Moreover, the company is looking for ways to alleviate the export restriction concerns by developing a different Blackwell variant. Considering all of this, analysts have attributed a rating of 'Strong Buy' for NVDA stock, with a mean target price of $174.02. This indicates upside potential of about 20% from current levels. Out of 44 analysts covering the stock, 37 have a 'Strong Buy' rating, three have a 'Moderate Buy' rating, three have a 'Hold' rating, and one has a 'Strong Sell' rating. ChatGPT Record quietly rolled out for Pro users — here's why I think free accounts could get voice messages soon
OpenAI has quietly rolled out a new 'Record' mode for ChatGPT — but for now, it's limited to Pro, Enterprise, and Edu users on the macOS desktop app. The new feature lets you tap a microphone icon and record a short voice message instead of typing. It's a small change, but one that enables ChatGPT to support users as a true voice assistant, making it faster and more conversational than ever. With Record mode, users simply speak their question, and ChatGPT will generate a response based on their audio input. A quick transcription of what you said also appears on screen, keeping the interaction clear and easy to follow. This is a briefer experience, not a full voice conversation like ChatGPT Voice, but it is designed for quick queries on the desktop. Currently limited to Mac users on the ChatGPT app — and only those on a Pro paid plan. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. But I wouldn't be surprised to see it expand to mobile apps and free accounts in the near future. Why? It fits perfectly into OpenAI's larger strategy of making ChatGPT more multimodal; now it further combines voice, vision and text in one experience to support a seamless AI assistance. And let's not forget the competition: Google Gemini Live already supports real-time voice interaction across Android and iOS. If OpenAI wants ChatGPT to match that level of usability — especially on mobile — bringing Record mode to more users makes a lot of sense. Since OpenAI launched ChatGPT Voice for mobile, which I have tested and found incredibly useful, the next logical step is Record mode. However, ChatGPT Record is different, similar to AI transcription apps. It's fast, lightweight, and well-suited for quick interactions when you don't want a full back-and-forth conversation. With multimodal capabilities now a key battleground in the AI assistant space, I'd expect OpenAI to continue expanding features like Record. Giving free-tier users a taste of these tools helps build loyalty and could drive upgrades to paid plans. For now, if you're using ChatGPT Pro, Enterprise, or Edu on a Mac, look for the new mic icon next to the chat box to try Record mode. If you're not on a paid plan, keep an eye out; this is one feature that could be making its way to the broader ChatGPT user base sooner than we may think.

Pope Leo XIV flags AI impact on kids' intellectual and spiritual development
ROME (AP) — Pope Leo XIV warned Friday that artificial intelligence could negatively impact the intellectual, neurological and spiritual development of young people as he pressed one of the priorities of his young pontificate. History's first American pope sent a message to a conference of AI and ethics, part of which was taking place in the Vatican in a sign of the Holy See's concern for the new technologies and what they mean for humanity. In the message, Leo said any further development of AI must be evaluated according to the 'superior ethical criterion' of the need to safeguard the dignity of each human being while respecting the diversity of the world's population. He warned specifically that new generations are most at risk given they have never had such quick access to information. 'All of us, I am sure, are concerned for children and young people, and the possible consequences of the use of AI on their intellectual and neurological development,' he said in the message. 'Society's well-being depends upon their being given the ability to develop their God-given gifts and capabilities,' and not allow them to confuse mere access to data with intelligence. 'In the end, authentic wisdom has more to do with recognizing the true meaning of life, than with the availability of data,' he said. Leo, who was elected in May after the death of Pope Francis, has identified AI as one of the most critical matters facing humanity, saying it poses challenges to defending human dignity, justice and labor. He has explained his concern for AI by invoking his namesake, Pope Leo XIII . That Leo was pope during the dawn of the Industrial Revolution and made the plight of workers, and the need to guarantee their rights and dignity, a key priority. Toward the end of his pontificate, Francis became increasingly vocal about the threats to humanity posed by AI and called for an international treaty to regulate it. Francis said politicians must take the lead in making sure AI remains human-centric, so that decisions about when to use weapons or even less-lethal tools always remain made by humans and not machines. ___ Associated Press religion coverage receives support through the AP's collaboration with The Conversation US, with funding from Lilly Endowment Inc.
