Yungblud cuts an edgy figure on night out with Noel Gallagher's midriff-flashing daughter Anais in New York - after he named Cher's goddaughter as 'the biggest love of my life'

Daily Mail25-05-2025

Yungblud and his pal Anais Gallagher looked ready to paint the town red, as they headed out in New York City earlier this month.
The singer, 27, and the daughter of Oasis star Noel Gallagher, 24, looked in good spirits as they showcased their contrasting fashion tastes on their night out.
Anais turned heads in a daring pink cardigan secured with only one button, leaving her cleavage and toned midriff on full display.
The model - who is currently dating actor Callum Scott Howells - teamed it with blue jeans and leather brogues, styling her long blonde hair in its natural waves.
While Yungblud - whose real name is Dominic Harrison - looked typically cool in a black suit and a burgundy button-up underneath.

The rocker added a pair of loafers and a gold chunky chain, while sporting his signature heavy black eyeliner.
The singer-songwriter previously revealed his plans to go see one of Oasis' reunion tour show with Anais, telling the Sun: 'I know Anais well so I will probably go with her.'
However, he admitted that despite his close friendship with Anais, he has only crossed paths with her father once, and didn't leave a good impression.
Yungblud told the publication: 'I met Noel at a party when I was about 18 and he thought I was f***ing gobby, but I have not seen him since.'
While Anais recently hit back at accusations she was a 'nepo baby', claiming that Noel, 57, only provided her 'financial stability', but that she paved out her own success.
Speaking to Hello! magazine, the influencer said: 'There are a lot more dangerous industries in which nepotism is around – look at Donald Trump 's sons.
'I would be far more concerned with people making legislation than an actor wanting to help out their daughter who wants to be an actress.
'All my privilege and, in quotation marks, "luck" has come from my financial stability – not my dad's fame.'
The model, who Noel had with his first wife Meg Mathews just a year before their divorce in 2001, suggested that children of singers were more likely to come under fire over nepotism than those with parents successful in other professions.
'I went to school with a lot of very wealthy people who probably had the exact same amount of privilege as me, but they wouldn't get called a nepo baby because their dad's a lawyer or a politician.
'My dad paid for my private education, he paid for my university degree. I was given money to live on so I didn't have to get a job when I was at university.
'If I needed a new camera, he would buy me a new camera to help with my studies – all of those things made my life so much easier than my friends who had to struggle whilst they were studying.
'But I never wanted to be a musician, so him writing Wonderwall never really helped me out. But him having money? Yes.'
Anais boasts 267,000 followers on her Instagram account but accepted that she owes at least part of her rapid rise to her rock legend father.
She said: 'You have to look at social media as fun. I think I'm in a really unique position in that I never decided I wanted to be an influencer.
'I posted on my Instagram as a normal teenager would, and then, because of who my dad was, initially, I got a lot of followers.'
His outing with Anais comes after Yungblud revealed he believes he's finally found 'the love of his life' in Cher 's goddaughter - despite breaking off their relationship following a period of intense 'insecurity.'
He had finally settled into a long-term relationship with Los Angeles-based singer and fashion designer Jesse Jo Stark after a string of failed romances, among them a short-lived fling with Halsey.
But in a far-reaching interview with Paul C. Brunson's We Need To Talk podcast this week, he admitted that Jesse, 34, agreed to a temporary separation as he wrestled with the pressures of living life in the spotlight.
Yungblud said: 'This year has been such a strange thing for me because it's the first time that probably the biggest love of my life, I've taken space from and I've asked for space.
'Last year I was really having problems with myself and it was all a me problem.'
He added: 'Her name's Jesse Stark. She's probably the most incredible person I've ever met and she's my best friend and I feel so lucky to be in her orbit.'
The Doncaster-born star admitted he maintains regular contact with Jesse, who is the daughter of the founder and CEO of luxury goods brand Chrome Hearts, Richard Stark, and is goddaughter to pop veteran Cher.
Yungblud said: 'I got to talk this through with her and she understood and she needed a moment.
'We talk every Sunday and I mean ultimately I think in my life all roads lead to her because I love her. I never loved anything like I love her.
'I love her as everything. And I love her as if I'd love water. I need it. You know, and I think I'd never experience love like it because when you could be that honest with another human being, even in times when we're not technically together.'
Despite ending the relationship, the singer insisted he was hopeful that he will start a family with Jesse once he has worked his way through the emotional issues that ultimately led to their separation.
'I think at this moment in time, I needed to build up a fundamental basis of a personality. I was a shell, so I didn't know what I could love,' he explained.
'I will love that girl until I die and if that ends up like we like I would love it for one day to have loads of kids with her and vibe out and do all the like whatever the fairy tale thing is but if that doesn't happen that doesn't happen.'
Yungblud's relationship with Jesse followed a short-lived romance with fellow pop star Halsey, who he dated for several months in 2019 and admits entered his life as they were both establishing their music careers.
He recalled: 'I was cool to her and it was that there were almost two things colliding. That's why I don't think we worked out. And it was epic. We weren't completing each other.'

Only four children came to my son's third birthday party... all because the other mothers don't like me - and this is the terrible reason why

The hall we'd hired was full of toys and balloon animals, the bubble machine and soft play all set up. The night before, I'd stayed up to finish the party bags, pass-the-parcel and home-made pinata. Everything was ready for my son Magnus's third birthday. The kindest, sweetest little boy who loves Spider-Man, Fireman Sam, dinosaurs and for me to read to him at bedtime.

Mariah Carey's most memorable awkward moments

's awkward moments while being interviewed have been reassessed recently including her admitting to not knowing who Jennifer Lopez was. Meanwhile, in 2002, the singer, 56, was interviewed by journalist Cat Deeley but Mariah shut down Cat's questions about her rumored romance with Eminem. Cat asked the singer, if it was true she and the rapper had been in a relationship. 'Define relationship,' came Mariah's frosty response. 'Is it true you went out on dates?' continued Cat. 'No,' the songstress stated. 'I was friends with him - physical anything - no!' she shot back. Cat, replied: 'I like the fact that… I like that,' before quickly changing the subject. takes a look back at some of her most memorable diva moments. 1. She 'doesn't know' Jennifer Lopez One of Mariah's most famous diva moments came in 2003 when she said she 'didn't know Jennifer during an interview with the German television program taff. When asked about her thoughts on Jennifer, Mariah shook her head and responded with the now-iconic phrase, which later became a viral meme. The perceived feud stems from several factors, primarily linked to Mariah's ex-husband, Tommy Mottola, a former Sony Music CEO. In her 2020 memoir, The Meaning Of Mariah Carey, Mariah alleges that Tommy sabotaged her 2001 album Glitter and its lead single Loverboy after their 1998 divorce. She claims Tommy gave a sample of the song Firecracker by Yellow Magic Orchestra, which she intended to use for Loverboy, to Jennifer for her hit single I'm Real. Mariah alleged Tommy redirected a planned collaboration with Ja Rule from her to Jennifer, further fueling tensions. Mariah referred to Jennifer in her memoir as 'another female entertainer on their label (whom I don't know).' 2. The time she dissed Madonna In an interview with Spin magazine in the 90s, Madonna was asked: 'Are there moments when you just say I wish I was Mariah Carey, just singing silly pop songs?' The singer laughed and replied: 'I'd kill myself.' Mariah didn't take kindly to this remark and made a diss at Madonna's age and relevancy in an MTV interview. She said: 'I really haven't paid attention to Madonna since I was in seventh or eighth grade when she used to be popular.' Ouch. 3. Her feud with Nicki Minaj While Mariah's feuds with Jennifer and Madonna played out in the press, her beef with Nicki Minaj was face-to-face. The two women clashed during season 12 of American Idol when they both joined the judging panel. Reports surfaced of on-set tension, with a leaked video from October 2012 showing Nicki confronting Mariah during auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina. In the clip, Minaj is heard saying: 'I told them, I'm not fin' putting up with her fin' highness over there,' referring to Mariah. Nicki also accused Mariah of making negative comments about her, escalating the situation. In a later interview with Barbara Walters, Mariah was asked if she was the unnamed 'b****' Nicki sang about in one of her songs. 'Don't know. I didn't know she sang. I thought she rapped. Or whatever,' Mariah replied. 4. Backing out of Will Ferrell's film Mariah was cast to appear as herself in a failed cameo in Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler's 2017 film The House. The scene was planned to be Mariah singing one of her songs in an illegal casino setting and then be humorously 'shot'. However, the cameo was scrapped due to Mariah's on-set behavior, which Will and co-stars described as unprofessional and disruptive. She was reportedly four hours late to the Los Angeles set, as confirmed by Will on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in June 2017. When she arrived, she refused to perform the pre-approved scene, saying: 'I don't want to do this scene,' despite prior agreement. She is also said to have demanded stuffed lambs and white roses in her trailer. The delays and demands led to her cameo being cut from the film. 5. Calling out her backup singer Mariah is not above interrupting a live performance if things aren't going to her liking. In a 2008 appearance on Good Morning America, the star chastised one of her backup singers who she believed was singing her part. Mariah turned around mid-performance and sang: 'Stop singing my part now, baby.' 6. Fluorescent lights On an episode of her 2016 reality show Mariah's World, Mariah refused to remove her sunglasses while in a room with fluorescent lighting. She then explained she would never be seen in such places without her sunnies on. 'I'm wearing these glasses because we're in fluorescent lighting, and I have a rule which states that I will not be seen in fluorescent lighting without sunglasses - I know it's very '90s,' she said. 7. Her refusal to recognize birthdays Mariah has a unique approach to ageing - she doesn't acknowledge her birthday. In a 2014 interview with Out magazine, she stated: 'I don't count years, but I definitely rebuke them - I have anniversaries, not birthdays, because I celebrate life, darling.' She added: 'I'm eternally 12 years old,' emphasizing her whimsical rejection of ageing. In a 2016 Complez Magazine interview, when asked about turning 46, Mariah quipped: 'I don't have a birthday. I was just dropped here. It was a fairyland experience.' 8. The time she threw shade at the Grammys Mariah has five Grammys to her name but in an interview with V magazine, she insisted artists shouldn't care too much about them. 'Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn,' she said. 'I mean, I have five Grammys. That's cute ... I won two Grammys the first year I started, but after that, [the Grammys] are like, 'We don't go with the people that are selling a lot of records and are popular; we're gonna go the opposite way.' 'So I got screwed out of certain years. I wasn't bitter about it. I was just like, 'OK, well, I guess I'm not standing here barefoot onstage singing and trying to go a certain way. I'm just me.''
