OneOdio Studio Max 1 Hi-Res Audio DJ Wireless Headphones
There's no doubt that headphones represent a crowded market but I've been impressed by OneOdio - a company that often brings the premium feel and sound for a reasonable price.
So I was keen to try out its Studio Max 1 Hi-Res Audio DJ Wireless Headphones even if I am not, nor have I ever been, or will be, a DJ.
DJs are usually tied to their decks as wired headphones traditionally don't suffer from the delay that regular Bluetooth bins suffer from. They need precision when performing a set and don't want to risk missing a beat.
OneOdio appears to have freed them, however, with the Studio Max 1 as it boasts a host of connection options and mega battery life.
What really makes it stand out is connecting to your music via the M1 adapter, a little battery-powered dongle you can attach to your playing device. With much lower latency than the regular Bluetooth, it also means a more stable connection and longer range as you're not battling it out with your other BT devices.
You can, if you want to, also connect via wired (3.5mm and 6.35mm) and BT 5.3, but the M1 is the game changer. I found it delivered fantastic sound quality, really impressive and up there with some more expensive options.
The over-the-ear headphones themselves are pretty beefy but were a comfortable fit. Constructed of hard plastic, they have nice soft cushions and padding over the head.

And now to the second biggest selling point - battery life. It's humungous. OneOdio says you can get some 120 hours out of the Max 1 when using Bluetooth, and using them gave me no reason not to believe it.
You get the usual controls on the headphones themselves, but do lack a couple of things that cans aimed at the consumer market usually have. The biggest of these is a lack of ANC. As they fit over the ears and blocked sound out anyway i didn't notice this too much but I did miss the pass-thru for when you want to talk to people.
As they are aimed for a specific purpose you don't get a mic for answering calls either. All this said, the quality delivered by the M1 adapter and the massive battery life make the Max 1 Hi-Res Audio DJ Wireless Headphones worth a look even if you don;'t spend all your time on the decks.
OneOdio Studio Max 1 Hi-Res Audio DJ Wireless Headphones is avialble via Amazon for £169.99.
What users say
"I would say for a mid-range pair of headphones with sound this good, with a 120 hours battery life from just a few hours charge you'd be hard pushed to find better value for money even though these are a relatively unknown brand."
"I am NOT a DJ but I will tell you that I love all the options that these headphones come with. The ability to plug them in to various sized ports is amazing, especially since I could wear these in the plane and watch a movie using the jack."

Inside Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos's blended family... including his VERY private children

After a two-year long engagement, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are due to tie the knot next week - and when they do, their families will officially become blended. The Amazon founder, who's net worth is $215 billio n, welcomed four children with his ex-wife MacKenzie Scott, whom he married in 1993. The couple met while they working for the same investment management firm, D. E. Shaw & Co, and tied to knot a year before Bezos launched Amazon. They were together for 25 years before parting ways after his romance to Lauren was exposed, and they finalized their divorce in 2019. There is little known about Jeff and MacKenzie's four kids - three biological sons and a daughter they adopted from China - with all of them keeping a quiet profile despite their father's fame and fortune. Lauren, 55, on the other hand, welcomed a son, named Nikko Gonzalez, with footballer Tony Gonzalez in 2002 before splitting. She then walked down the aisle with Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell in 2005, and together, they had a son, named Evan Whitesell, in 2006 and a daughter, named Eleanor Whitesell, in 2008. They were together for more than a decade up until her affair with Jeff was brought to light in early 2019. With Lauren and Jeff's extravagant wedding plans in Venice, Italy, just days away, FEMAIL rounded up everything we know about their kids. Jeff and MacKenzie's eldest son Preston makes rare appearances with his father Jeff and MacKenzie's first child, a boy named Preston, was born in 2000. His name is a family moniker, with his father, grandfather and great grandfather having the middle name Preston. While Preston is rarely seen, he was snapped attending the Academy Awards with his dad in 2020. He was also spotted at the 2019 American Portrait Gala Preston reportedly attended Princeton University, as did both of his parents. He was also rumored to have completed a humanities and engineering degree from MIT, after Jeff was spotted at MIT's commencement ceremony in 2022. Jeff and MacKenzie share three other children together but they have shied away from the public eye The former also share two younger biological sons and an adopted daughter from China. However, the children's identifies are shrouded in mystery, with only Preston's name known to the public. The kids are rarely seen out or with their famous parental figures. One of the only times the Bezos bunch have been seen with their dad was almost 10 years ago at the Star Trek Beyond film premiere at Comic-Con International in San Diego in July 2016. Lauren has three children from previous relationships and her eldest son is a budding model Lauren's eldest son Nikko graduated from college in 2024 and is now a budding model. Her other kids Evan and Ella have opted to stay out of the spotlight so very little is known about them. In January 2023, Lauren spoke out about how she and her billionaire beau have blended their families, with her joking that she felt like they were the 'Brady Bunch' sometimes. 'On a typical Saturday, we hang out, we have dinner with the kids, which is always fun because you never know where the conversation is going to go with this many kids,' she told the Wall Street Journal. She also dished on co-parenting with her exes, specifically Tony, whom she branded as her 'best friend.' 'It wasn't always that way. There was friction [at the beginning]. But Tony and [his wife October "Tobie" Gonzalez] were at Thanksgiving with us [this year], and we're really good friends,' she explained. 'That took about five years, but we always communicated. I'm not saying that being best friends with your ex is the end-all be-all - but you do need to be able to communicate. 'I'm so proud of it. My son looks at me, and he's like, "I'm the luckiest boy in the world because I can have Thanksgiving with both my parents, and they don't have to be married."' She did not touch on her relationship with Patrick. What to expect from Lauren and Jeff's wedding The guest list is thought to have less than 200 people, with suspected guests including A-listers like Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom and even members of the Trump family. The Amazon boss has booked the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, one of the largest and grandest buildings in the historical center of Venice, as part of the multi-day-long extravaganza of celebrations. According to an insider, Jeff's $500 million superyacht, Koru, will be moored off the coast of San Georgio Maggiore island, which is home to the famous Basilica of San Giorgio Maggiore, a 16th century Benedictine church. They shared that the island is 'off-limits to visitors' from June 24 to June 29, with the mayor believing that the wedding will take place on the yacht - although The Misericodria, an iconic event space in Venice, has been booked out from June 26 to June 28. It's unclear if the space is related to their wedding, but the insider added that a private tender service is said to be taking guests from the island to the yacht. Separate sources recently told the Daily Mail that the festivities are expected to cost anywhere from $15 to $20 million.

Inside Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's 3-day Venetian wedding with star-studded guest list, $500m yacht, & unique gifts

BILLIONAIRE Jeff Bezos and fiancée Lauren Sanchez are preparing to tie the knot in a lavish three-day wedding in Venice next week. The couple have remained tight-lipped about the upcoming nuptials but as the date nears, more details about the star-studded extravaganza have emerged. 9 9 9 The 61-year-old Amazon founder proposed to Sanchez, a former TV journalist, with a multi-million dollar ring on his yacht in May 2023. Mayor of Venice, Luigi Brugnaro, confirmed in March that the popular Italian city would host the couple and their guests for the highly-anticipated ceremony. He said the city was "extremely proud" the couple had chosen it for their wedding and called it "an honor that Bezos is coming to Venice". The happy couple appear to be keeping the celebration intimate with reports of around 200 guests being invited. But that relatively small list is thought to include some big names including celebrities, politicians, and business moguls. This is certainly the case if Sanchez's star-studded Parisian bachelorette party is anything to go by. The final hoorah before the "wedding of the century" was attended by the likes of Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Katy Perry, and Eva Longoria. Multiple reports suggest stars including Leonardo Di Caprio, Orlando Bloom, Mick Jagger, and Beyoncé, are expected to attend as well as Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner. The upcoming bash is said to be as extravagant as a royal wedding with Sanchez's brother Paul telling TMZ it would "be like a Princess Di thing". "It's gonna be an amazing event. It's gonna be star-studded and fun," he said. The couples' children from their previous marriages are also expected to be in attendance. Bezos has four children with his ex-wife Mackenzie Scott and Sanchez has two children with her ex-husband Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell and a son with ex-football player Tony Gonzalez. Exact details for the celebrations have been kept under wraps but are believed to kick off on June 24 and end on June 26, a spokesperson for Brugnaro told CNN. As preparations are underway, city officials told NBC News. that 30 water taxis out of 280 have been reserved and up to four hotels have been booked. LIFE OF LUXURY These are thought to be several luxury venues along the Grand Canal including the Belmond Hotel Cipriani, the Grand Aman Hotel, the St Regis Venis, and the Gritti Palace. A room at The Aman, built in 1550, will set you back at least $2,700 per night, with prices going up to $10,000. This is where the couple are said to be staying, per TMZ, as sources claim the entire hotel has been booked out from June 25 to June 29. City officials added that "the celebrations, attended by 250 guests, will blend into the daily rhythm of a city". "Once again, Venice proves to be a world stage," Brugnaro said. 9 9 9 The actual ceremony is reported to be taking place on Bezos' $500 million yacht which will be in the Venetian lagoon, according to People. Meanwhile, the whole island of San Giorgio Maggiore which lies opposite St Mark's Square has reportedly been booked out. A source told the Daily Mail that the whole island will be "off limits to visitors" from June 24 to June 29. The power couple have also booked the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, a grand event building in the city's historic center, per the outlet. The couple are said to be using mainly local vendors to cater for the huge event. Around 80 percent of the wedding is to be locally sourced including from Rosa Salva, the city's oldest pastry maker and Laguna B, a studio famed for its hand-blown Murano glass. Rosa Salva, which has been in business since 1876, has been asked to provide an array of surprises for goody bags , Antonio Rosa Salva revealed. It is not known how Laguna B will contribute to the celebrations, with the business remaining tight-lipped. One source told The Mail that a celebrity wedding planner not connected to the event has been told guests are being given "opulent" gifts just to attend. The three-day celebrations could cost as much as $21 million, The Mail reported. 9 9 9 'JUST BEGINNING' The 55-year-old bride is thought to have taken on the majority of the organizing for the big day, as Sanchez previously told Today that she has been obsessively adding to her Pinterest board "like every other bride". "I'm very excited about it, thinking about the dress. I have to say, I do have a Pinterest. I'm just like every other bride," she told Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb back in November. "I never thought at 54 — I'm going to be 55 — that I'd be an author, that I'd be getting married. I mean, life is just beginning." Her billionaire husband-to-be told Vogue in 2023 that he would not have any involvement in the planning saying, "Oh, God no. Do I look that dumb?" when asked if he would be helping out. As some locals launch protests against the wedding taking place in their city, officials have reassured them that they will not be adversely affected. Fears are increasing among some Venetians that they are being priced out of their own city by tourism. "The city is fully accustomed to hosting high-profile events of this nature and scale, including other celebrity weddings, international summits such as the G7 and G20, as well as traditional events like the Festa del Redentore and the Venice Biennale," city hall officials told NBC. "The celebrations, attended by 250 guests, will blend into the daily rhythm of a city that, with dignity and respect, welcomes thousands of visitors from around the world while safeguarding the quality of life for its residents, workers, and students. "Protest initiatives are in no way representative of the majority of citizens, who are proud that Venice has been chosen as the wedding location".

New contender to play James Bond is 31-year-old British rising star

An unexpected name has entered the race to become the next James Bond. Since Daniel Craig wrapped up as 007 in 2021 with No Time to Die, there has been wild speculation for three years, with many fans convinced they know which actor is going to take up the spy's licence to kill. This speculation has only intensified following a historic deal in which creative control of the franchise was handed to Amazon after Amazon Studios purchased MGM+ for $8.45billion (£6.7billion). Aaron Pierre, the 31-year-old British actor whose been gaining a huge following in recent months, is now emerging as a frontrunner for the iconic role, with industry insiders and bookmakers taking serious notice. Best known for his performances in The Underground Railroad, Rebel Ridge, and Disney's upcoming Mufasa: The Lion King, the actor's buzz is leading some to wonder if he's 007 material. The revelation comes from a leak by entertainment insider Daniel Ritchman, according to GBNews, sparking a wave of interest from Bond fans. For years, the Bond rumour mill has revolved around familiar names like Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Henry Cavill, and Jack Lowden. But a sharp shift in betting odds suggests the tide is turning. Pierre's odds have narrowed significantly, positioning him alongside the top-tier contenders. Currently, Theo James leads the pack with odds of 5/2 (a 28.6% implied chance), followed by Cavill at 3/1 and Lowden at 4/1. Taylor-Johnson, once a hot favourite, has slipped back to 5/1, even thoguh some think he may have already accepted the role, as he's insisted he 'can't talk about' his next film project. The 35-year-old actor has long been heavily rumoured to be the next James Bond, from as far back as 2022 – although reports of his official casting were promptly rubbished in March 2024. He gave a very coy response when asked about what he'll be doing after working on 28 Years Later and its sequel, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, back-to-back. More Trending Questioned by Deadline at the horror movie's premiere on Wednesday night he said: 'I can't talk about it.' Meanwhile, more far-fetched candidates such as Stephen Graham and Harry Styles remain on the books at longshot odds of 66/1. The buzz suggests that producers may be looking toward a younger actor with franchise longevity. At 31, Pierre strikes that balance. Got a story?
