Iran warns US bases involved in strikes will be targeted
A senior adviser to Iran's supreme leader has warned that any military base used by US forces to attack Iranian nuclear sites will be treated as a legitimate target.
'Any country in the region or elsewhere that is used by American forces to strike Iran will be considered a legitimate target for our armed forces,' Ali Akbar Velayati said in a statement published by the official IRNA news agency on Sunday.

Israeli strikes attack northwest Iran: local media
23 June 2025 02:12 TEHRAN (AFP)Israeli strikes attacked several parts of northwest Iran Sunday, Iranian media reported, as fighting between the two foes raged for the 10th strikes targeted "two locations in the southwestern part of Tabriz" city, capital of the East Azerbaijan province, ISNA news agency reported, quoting Majid Farshi the province's crisis management authority chief.
