Phrolova in Wuthering Waves 2.5, Release Date, Abilities, and More
Image via: Kuro Games
Wuthering Waves Version 2.5 will shake the roster as one of the most enigmatic villains in the game, Phrolova, becomes playable. On July 24, 2025, this version will mark a key milestone in the game's Septimont storyline and promise some exciting gameplay changes.
From Foe to Ally: The Historic Crossover
Phrolova is no mere new addition; she is long-time in charge of the terrifying Fractsidus Group and one of the first antagonists from the enemy faction to cross over to the player side. Her crossover signifies a narrative change to Wuthering Waves wherein an increasingly-and-complex-dichotomization-avenue between good and evil will open. In her full-fledged playable incarnation, she will be a prominent presence in the unfolding Septimont story.

Master of Havoc: Skills and Playstyle
Phrolova was made for people who like to throw off explosions with precision. She primarily uses Echoes: this mechanic charges a special Forte Gauge that, after charging, allows the summoning of unique Echoes for coordinated attacks. With six charges, players release coordinated Echo attacks and reap damage benefits.
Teammate Synergy: Building Around Phrolova
Phrolova's potential is fully realized if paired with Echo-reliant patrons or Havoc-based characters. The top synergy picks include:
Cantarella
: The healer for Havoc and Echo expander; in other words: The best support to bring out the full potential in Phrolova.
Roccia
: Crowd control and
Havoc DPS
buffs to ease execution for Phrolova.
Camellya
: Burst Havoc DPS that fits in Phrolova's cooldown rotations to unlink tag-team damage.
Together, those raise a backbone for a high-performing Echo-centric team.

One extremely tantalizing detail about which nothing can be confirmed is Phrolova's so-called Dark Higanbana, which is mentioned in some leaks but was nowhere to be seen in any recent gameplay footage. Will this mysterious alternate form bleed into the final release? Only a question of time.
As July 24 closes in, Wuthering Waves players are counting down to welcoming Phrolova, not just as a powerful ally but one of the hallmarks of the game's growth and ambition.

Producer of multilingual superhit 'Eega' issues copyright infringement notice to Malayalam movie 'Lovely'
KOCHI: The producer of the 2012 superhit multilingual movie 'Eega', directed by noted filmmaker S S Rajamouli, has issued a copyright infringement notice to the recently released Malayalam film 'Lovely' for portraying a housefly as a character. The Hyderabad-based production company Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, in a press release here, alleged the movie 'Lovely' has reproduced, appropriated and exploited the character of a housefly 'visually' and 'narratively' identical to the housefly protagonist in its 2012 film. However, the makers of the Malayalam 3D film have denied the charges and said they will face the case 'legally'. They maintain that the film tells the story of a young dreamer who is capable of conversing with a housefly. On the other hand, the film 'Eega' is a revenge drama in which a murdered man incarnates as a housefly to protect his lover and take revenge against the antagonist.

Adnan Sami , who is currently enjoying a peaceful life with wife Roya Faryabi and daughter Medina, recently opened up about his first marriage to actress Zeba Bakhtiar , which ended in divorce in the late 1990s. The singer recently shared a rare insight into the emotional aftermath of their separation, choosing to focus on the love and memories they once shared rather than the pain of the breakup. 'Sometimes what happens is that with time, for whatever reason, it was not meant to be, and that does not make you or me a bad person. That is destiny,' Adnan told Bollywood Bubble. He emphasized that while the marriage didn't last, it began with love, something he believes should be respected, no matter how things ended. 'We tried, and it did not work out... maybe it ended in a fight or a major clash. But when you part, remember once upon a time, there was love, and let us respect that and move on. This person did bring me joy at a particular point in life and we had some great moments together,' he added. Zeba Bakhtiar: 'I wasn't interested in continuing to act' Zeba Bakhtiar, a celebrated Pakistani actress, married Adnan in 1993. The couple welcomed a son, Azaan Sami Khan, now a music composer and actor. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 1997. In a past interview with Aamna Haider Isani, Zeba revealed how the end of her marriage impacted her personally and professionally. 'When I got married to Adnan, I was wrapping up a few films. At that time, I wasn't interested in continuing to act,' she said. After Azaan's birth, she shifted her focus to motherhood and left acting behind. 'But when the marriage didn't work out, I started doing productions and other projects,' she added, hinting at how the failure of the relationship influenced her creative pursuits. Indian businessman gifts a custom pink Rolls-Royce to his 1-year-old daughter. Internet says, ‘We are not impressed'
On Father's Day, Dubai-based Indian businessman Satish Sanpal gifted his one-year-old daughter a custom-built pink Rolls-Royce, complete with monogrammed seats and a personalized nameplate. While meant to celebrate fatherhood in grand style, the gesture left the internet divided. Critics called it excessive and tone-deaf, questioning the need for such luxury for a child too young to drive. Satish Sanpal's lavish Father's Day gift to his toddler daughter—a pink Rolls-Royce—has gone viral. Though meant as a heartfelt gesture, many netizens called it 'flashy,' 'tacky,' and impractical. Remove Ads Luxury or lunacy? In a world where over-the-top gestures are increasingly the norm on social media, Indian businessman Satish Sanpal may have just redefined extravagance. Celebrating Father's Day in Dubai , Sanpal stunned the internet by gifting his one-year-old daughter, Isabella, a custom-built pink Rolls-Royce—complete with monogrammed interiors, a personalized note, and a 'Congratulations, Isabella' video, originally posted on Instagram , features the founder of ANAX Developments arriving at the luxury showroom with his wife Tabinda and toddler in tow. What follows is a scene straight out of a luxury lifestyle reel: pink balloons, music, dancing, and a glittering car unveiled for a child who, quite literally, can't even drive it for another 17 this wasn't Isabella's first brush with grandeur. In February, her first birthday party was a jaw-dropping spectacle held at Atlantis The Royal, one of Dubai's most opulent hotels. The venue was transformed into a winter wonderland with artificial snow, icy chandeliers, and white trees, all topped off with appearances by Bollywood stars like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Atif Aslam, and Nora Fatehi. Isabella made her entrance in a princess carriage wearing a ball gown that might've made Cinderella the Instagram caption praised Sanpal's lavish gesture as the ultimate 'Dubai Dad' moment, not everyone on the internet was ranged from sarcastic to critical. One user noted, 'Must be a really nice feeling when you get gifted something so special, knowing you cannot use it for the next 17 years.' Another quipped, 'It's a tacky and flashy display of wealth and just proves that money does not buy class.' Others pointed out the absurdity of giving a toddler a high-end car when 'small kids are the happiest with empty containers and boxes.' Given the flashy nature of Instagram post, a commentor wrote, "Another show off, we are not impressed sorry."While gifting luxury cars isn't unheard of in the world of billionaires and Instagram influencers, the gesture has sparked broader conversations around parenting, wealth display, and whether such ostentatious acts make meaningful memories or just a country like India, where millions of children grow up without basic amenities, such gestures inevitably invite scrutiny—especially when shared online with cinematic flair. While Sanpal might see it as a father's way of showing boundless love, the jury of the internet seems divided between awe and now, baby Isabella has a Rolls-Royce she can't drive, a designer wardrobe she'll outgrow in months, and a social media footprint most adults would envy. As for the rest of us? We're still debating whether this was a parenting flex or just another tone-deaf showcase in the age of viral opulence.
