Kuberaa box office Day 1: Dhanush, Nagarjuna's film opens strong with Rs 13 crore

Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna's much-awaited film 'Kuberaa' finally hit theatres this Friday and has opened to a solid start. As per early estimates by the pan-India film minted Rs 13 crore on its opening the film received positive reviews, especially for Dhanush's compelling performance, its Day 1 collection fell slightly short of the actor's last theatrical outing 'Raayan', which had earned Rs 15.7 crore. Vijayawada: The 24th death anniversary of legendary film and theatre personality Jandhyala was solemnly observed by Kalamanjari cultural organisation and C Ramamohan Rao cultural organisation on Thursday. The event began with floral tributes at Jandhyala's statue, where admirers gathered to honour his immense contribution to Telugu stage and cinema as a scriptwriter, director, and actor. Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of the AP Nataka Academy Gummadi Gopalakrishna praised Jandhyala as a trendsetter in theatre, known for his impactful dialogues. 'His name is synonymous with comedy and creativity,' he remarked.
