Dachshund Sweetly Brings 'Gift' to Human Baby Sister Each Day Like a True Prince

Dachshund Sweetly Brings 'Gift' to Human Baby Sister Each Day Like a True Prince originally appeared on Parade Pets. When a new baby joins the family where pups rule, there are a few different ways it can go. If you're one of the lucky ducks with friendly, loving, and accepting dogs, it'll be a whole lot easier to adjust to the many changes babies bring. Dachshunds like Wilbur and Palmer not only understood the assignment, but set the curve for the whole class with the incredible way they've been handling the newbie — complete with morning presents! Wilbur has to be an angel in disguise by the way he thoughtfully grabs his favorite stuffie of the day to offer his newborn sister. The video is an oldie that Mom forgot about, but for nine months straight, the generous Dachshund gifted the baby girl with toys. How sweet is that? This is all very much in Wilbur's wheelhouse and something he does for everyone he adores. This is the pooch who waits by the door for Dad with a "welcome home" stuffie, and plants himself at the bottom of the stairs every morning with a cool toy to greet Dad when he comes down for breakfast. Basically, Wilbur is an actual saint and the world doesn't deserve his big, beating heart! We can't count out doggy sister Palmer, because she's just as amazing, but it's Wilbur's dedication to being of service that gets our standing ovation (and then some)! Many of this good boy's 84k TikTok followers' hearts are exploding over this montage. It's clear the kind Doxie is counting down the days until little sis can sit and play with him, and they're already getting a head start with their baby/dog-friendly ball bit (where Wilbur once again brought "his" baby a stuffie gift). The science behind dogs bringing their people gifts is so heartwarming. While it can be a sign of self-soothing, getting attention, or just a welcome offering, they may bring their favorite toy in hopes of a little play sesh — or, my favorite, because they're SO excited to see us, they simply need to channel all that happiness zipping through their veins. The next time your dog brings you a beloved stuffed animal gift, they're telling you they love you and their life with you. All of that makes Wilbur's daily gesture a million times cuter! 🐶🐾🐾 Dachshund Sweetly Brings 'Gift' to Human Baby Sister Each Day Like a True Prince first appeared on Parade Pets on Jun 18, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade Pets on Jun 18, 2025, where it first appeared.

Dachshund Brings His Human Baby Sister a 'Gift' Every Morning and It's Melting Hearts

Dachshund Brings His Human Baby Sister a 'Gift' Every Morning and It's Melting Hearts originally appeared on PetHelpful. Meet Wilbur, an adorable mini-Dachshund who is head over heels in love with his newborn baby sister. Each morning, and anytime mom goes in to check on the baby, Wilbur brings his little sister a gift - one of his favorite toys - and it's the cutest thing you'll see today! Their mom put together this video montage showing Wilbur following her into the baby's room with a gift in his mouth. The toys may change but the sentiment does not; he wants her to know how very loved she is! This video made my heart so happy! It's the sweetest thing, and Wilbur's mom mentioned in the video's caption that, although the baby is now 9 months old, Wilbur still brings her his favorite toys and gives her kisses every morning. He's the best big brother ever! Commenters also adored the sweet video. @nROD818RN shared, "That's absolutely adorable. Wait until she's sitting up and he can hand over the toys to her. I love this!" @MissLauraBeth agreed, "He just can't wait for her to be old enough to play toys with him." @starsabove shared, "Look at all the giving! Reason 789,987,987 I adore our Doxies!" I couldn't help but laugh when @The Doxie Father added, "It seems that long hairs are nothing but sweetie pies. My two smooth hairs are absolute lunatics!"If you've ever brought home a newborn baby and introduced him or her to your pet, it was probably love at first sight for your pooch. Alexandra Bassett, lead dog trainer and behaviorist at Dog Savvy Los Angeles, explains why to the American Kennel Club, 'All dogs have a mating drive and den instincts; it's part of what's called their 'pack drive.'' When a dog has a strong pack drive and is tightly bonded with his family, it's only natural that he becomes protective of a new baby when he or she arrives." This relationship is good for the baby, too. The baby will grow up with a playmate and best friend. Not to mention, your pooch may keep your baby healthy, too. Caleb Backe, a Pet Health and Wellness Expert for Maple Holistics, told the AKC that research has shown that babies who grow up with a dog "are less likely to develop certain allergies and usually have a more resilient immune system." He goes on to say, 'When there is a dog around, human babies grow up healthier, more protected, and generally happier." You can't argue with that! Justin Bieber Posted a Cryptic Father's Day Post About ‘Conflict' After He Addressed the Hailey Divorce Rumors

All eyes are always on Justin Bieber's Instagram account. The 'Baby' singer has been getting personal on his Instagram account about his internal struggles and fake friends. On Father's Day, the singer took to Instagram to post photos of his son Jack Blues Bieber and his wife Hailey Bieber with a middle finger emoji as the caption. Right after those posts, he posted a conversation with a seemingly ex-friend who he cut off. Conflict is a part of relationship. If you don't like my anger you don't like me,' he messaged the anonymous person. 'My anger is a response To pain I have been thru. Asking a traumatized person not to be traumatized is simply mean.' The person on the receiving end responded that they were 'not used to someone lashing out at me. It's not hat I don't see and feel your anger.' He later was firm on his own emotions and called an end to the his relationship with the person. 'Ouch. This friendship is officially over,' he wrote. 'I will never accept a man calling my anger lashing out. I enjoyed our short lived relationship. I wasn't kidding when I told u I didn't need u as a friend. I have good friends. Who will respect these boundaries.' Just less than 24 hours later, Justin took to Instagram to address his behavior. 'People keep telling me to heal,' he wrote. 'Don't you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already? I know I'm broken. I know I have anger issues,' the singer wrote. 'I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them. And it just keeps making me more tired and more angry. The harder I try to grow, the more focussed on myself I am.' The posts comes weeks after Justin was criticized for posting a scathing Instagram caption about his wife's accomplishments for being on the cover of Vogue. 'Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight,' he began in his Instagram cover. 'I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue. Yikes I know, so mean.' The singer recalled that he 'felt so disrespected' and 'thought I gotta get even.' 'I think as we mature we realize that we're not helping anything by getting even,' he continued. 'we're honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection.'He ended the post with an apology, 'So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn't get a vogue cover cuz clearly i was sadly mistaken.' He later replaced the caption with a series of emojis, '🤷🫵🏻🫶🏼🥹.' In the same Vogue cover story, Hailey addressed the divorce rumors. 'Being postpartum is the most sensitive time I've ever gone through in my life, and learning a new version of myself is very difficult,' Hailey told the fashion magazine. 'And to be doing that all the while going on the internet every day and people being like, 'They're getting divorced' and 'They're this' and 'They're not happy,' it is such a mindf—-. I cannot even begin to explain it. It's a crazy life to live.'
