We're a couple months out from the highly anticipated unified super middleweight title fight between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford, but the promotional campaign is ramping up.
Canelo (63-2-2) vs. Crawford (41-0) will take place Sept. 13 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and will stream on Netflix. UFC CEO Dana White will promote the fight under TKO Boxing alongside Saudi Arabia's Turki Alalshikh.
Canelo and Crawford started a three-city international press tour in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Friday. Sunday, they're at Fanatics Fest in New York.

Aspinall took that fight on short notice when the original main event for that card, Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic for Jones's heavyweight title was scrapped following an injury to Jones. Despite Aspinall winning the interim crown, UFC CEO Dana White remained steadfast in saying that Jones vs. Miocic was the fight to make. That fight did not take place until November 2024. The 35-year-old French competitor has only lost in UFC title fights, falling to Francis Ngannou by decision in 2022 for the undisputed title, and losing to Jon Jones via submission in 2023 for the vacant belt. Gane did capture the interim heavyweight belt in 2021 with a knockout of Derrick Lewis. In his most recent trip to the Octagon, Gane defeated Alexander Volkov via split decision. That bout took place in December 2024. Gane debuted with the UFC in 2019 following a Muay Thai career. He was 3-0 in MMA when he first fought inside the Octagon. Gane went 7-0 to begin his UFC career. His first loss came in a title unification bout against Ngannou. Gane is likely to move to No. 1 in the UFC rankings when they are updated, as Aspinall is currently in the No. 1 spot. It's only a matter of months until viewers can be transported back to a fictitious small town nestled in Northern California — as Netflix's Virgin River has wrapped filming its seventh season. Marking the occasion, cast members took to social media to celebrate. Benjamin Hollingsworth shared a joint post with Kandyse McClure, which included selfies of the two alongside fellow co-star Zibby Allen. While there is no official release date for Season 7, its preceding season bowed on the streamer in December 2024, and the one before that premiered September 2023. As such, it's possible that Season 7 could come to Netflix late this year. As Deadline reported earlier in March, Season 7 features new recurring characters played by Sara Canning (The Vampire Diaries) and Cody Kearsley (Riverdale). The former's storyline is based on an existent plotline from Robyn Carr's expansive, eponymous novel series, with Canning playing an ex-cop who was shot in the line of duty and is now working for the state medical board as an investigator. She comes to Virgin River to investigate Doc's (Tim Matheson) practice but runs into a friend with whom she wouldn't mind catching up. Speaking to Deadline last December, series showrunner Patrick Sean Smith confirmed the fight for Virgin River's clinic will be a major storyline this year, following the investigation into Doc's actions while saving a patient, which led to a bait-and-switch ploy for the clinic to be taken over by a large hospital network.
