Police hunt for e-bike riders suspected of injuring baby with fire extinguisher
Police have released footage of the pair of e-bike riders they believe are responsible for injuring a baby when they sprayed a fire extinguisher into a car on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.
Investigators have launched a public appeal to identify the boys following the "horrific" incident that left the five-month-old girl in hospital.
Tiffani Teasdale and her daughter Pixie were waiting at traffic lights on High Street in Sippy Downs at about 7:45pm on Sunday night.
Ms Teasdale said an e-bike pulled up next to the car and that a fire extinguisher was sprayed through the back window.
Pixie was taken to hospital where doctors cleaned her eyes with saline solution.
Police have confirmed the fire extinguisher used in the incident was stolen from a nearby car park on Courage Street earlier that night.
The riders, who wore full-face motorcycle helmets and black puffer jackets, were filmed by a security camera.
Anyone who recognise the people or the bike in the footage is urged to contact police.

E-bike riders charged over Sunshine Coast fire extinguisher incident
Two teenagers have been charged over an incident that left a baby in hospital when a fire extinguisher was allegedly sprayed through a car window on the Sunshine Coast. Police have charged the boys from Buderim, aged 14 and 15, with a long list of offences, including wilful damage and assault occasioning bodily harm. The pair who were riding an e-bike are accused of letting off a fire extinguisher into the open back window of Tiffani Teasdale's car while she was stopped at traffic lights at Sippy Downs last weekend. Her five-month-old daughter, Pixie, was in the back seat and had to have her eyes cleaned by doctors with saline solution. The residue left a thick film blanketing the car's interior, destroying the baby's pram, toys and nappy bag. Police allege the fire extinguisher was stolen from a nearby car park earlier that night. Earlier this week, investigators released security footage of the duo and launched a public appeal to identify them. The boys will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act and will not be required to appear in the Queensland Children's Court.

Two boys charged for allegedly discharging fire extinguisher into car with mum and baby inside on Sunshine Coast road
Two teenagers have been charged with close to two dozen offences after a five-month-old baby was injured by a fire extinguisher in Queensland last weekend. Mother Tiffani Teasdale was stopped at traffic lights on High Street in the Sunshine Coast suburb of Sippy Downs on Sunday about 7.50pm when an e-bike pulled up. She alleged one of the two riders then sprayed a fire extinguisher into the back window of her car, where her baby Pixie was seated, and then fled the scene. "The car just filled up with gas and white powder straight away. (Pixie) was completely covered in white powder and just looked like she was in shock," Ms Teasdale said. Pixie was taken to hospital where she spent the night. Doctors had to use saline solution to clean the baby's eyes. "The doctors had to hold her down for me because it was the most horrible thing I've ever heard ... no one should have to go through that," Ms Teasdale said. The mother a day after the incident said her five-month-old was "quite red in the face" and that her eyes were "swollen" but she was going to be "fine". Police released vision from a car park of two boys on a bike to track them down. After going on the run for days, the teens were tracked down. Queensland Police said it charged a 15-year-old boy with 13 offences, including three counts each of wilful damage and two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm. A 14-year-old boy was charged with six offences, including two counts each of wilful damage and assault occasioning bodily harm. It will also be alleged the fire extinguisher used in the attack had been stolen from a car park on Courage Street hours before it was used against the mother and baby. Both the boys are locals from Buderim. The teens will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.

Major Crash investigators are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage of the scene to contact police.
