Justin Bieber is taking a very private conversation public, and fans are concerned.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, June 15, the "Sorry" singer, 31, shared screenshots of a text exchange where he ends his friendship with an unidentified person.
The screenshots show Bieber telling the mystery recipient that he will "never suppress my emotions for someone" and that "conflict is a part of relationship," adding, "If you don't like my anger you don't like me." He continues that "my anger is a response to pain I have been" through, and "asking a traumatized person not to be traumatized is simply mean."
In the screenshots, the other person responds that they are "not used to someone lashing out at me" and that "it's not that I don't see and feel your anger," to which Bieber replies that "this friendship is officially over." The singer also writes that he will "never accept a man calling my anger lashing out."
Bieber did not write a caption for his Instagram post and provided no further context for the screenshots. In the comments, the singer's followers expressed concern, with some comparing him to Ye, formerly Kanye West.

"Bros lowkey becoming ye," read one comment that received more than 40,000 likes.
"Your friend is allowed to set boundaries," another comment read. "You lashing out at him because of your trauma is not okay."
Still another follower wrote, "You cannot have justifiable angry outbursts due to trauma, it doesn't work that way."
The post came after video emerged of Bieber scolding paparazzi in a heated confrontation on June 12, telling the photographers to "get out of my face" and "stop provoking me," according to TMZ. "You'll take this video out of context and you'll say 'Justin's lost his mind,'" he said in the clip.
On Monday, June 16, Bieber posted white text on a purple background saying that "people keep telling me to heal," but "don't you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already?"
"I know I'm broken," the post said. "I know I have anger issues. I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them. And it just keeps making me more tired and more angry."
Hailey Bieber playfully jabs with 'Father's Day sucks' comment after Justin Bieber Mother's Day post
Bieber was quite active on Instagram throughout June 15, which was Father's Day, making numerous other posts. Earlier in the day, he wrote that he is a "dad that's not to be (messed) with" and shared a selfie that included the middle finger emoji.
Justin Bieber raises eyebrows with another cryptic post on social media
In a comment on the post that appears to have been deleted, Bieber's wife Hailey wrote that Father's Day "sucks," an apparent reference to the singer reportedly posting that Mother's Day "sucks" in May.
Bieber has raised eyebrows with numerous cryptic posts in recent months, including an Instagram story in March where he reflected on feeling unworthy of his success.
"People told me my whole life, 'wow Justin u deserve that' and I personally have always felt unworthy. Like I was a fraud," he wrote. "When people told me I deserve something, it made me feel sneaky like damn if they only knew my thoughts. How judgemental (sic) I am. How selfish I really am. They wouldn't be saying this."
Bieber also sparked backlash in May when he admitted in an Instagram post that he once told his wife "she would never be on the cover of Vogue." He shared the revelation as a reaction to Hailey Bieber appearing on the Vogue cover.
"For some reason because I felt disrespected. I thought I gotta get even," he wrote at the time. "I think as we mature we realize that we're not helping anything by getting even. We're honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection."

Bruce Willis' wife shares ‘profoundly sad' update on retired actor's health

Emma Heming Willis, wife of Bruce Willis, used Father's Day to share a glimpse at the retired actor's experience with frontotemporal dementia. 'Happy Father's Day to all the dads living with disability or disease, showing up in the ways they can and to the children who show up for them,' she wrote in an Instagram post, which depicted Willis with his face obscured by a hat. Willis' family first shared news of his diagnosis in 2022, stating that the actor was experiencing aphasia, a condition caused by brain damage that impacts a person's ability to communicate and understand written and spoken language. The announcement coincided with his retirement, ending a four-decade career that spanned 100-plus film appearances and earned Willis one Golden Globe and two Primetime Emmys, among other honors. In 2023, Willis' first wife Demi Moore explained on social media that his 'condition has progressed' to frontotemporal dementia, also referred to as FTD. Heming Willis reflected on her husband's updated diagnosis in the Father's Day post, stating that 'these symbolic days stir up a lot.' 'I'm profoundly sad today,' she wrote. 'I wish, with every cell in my body, that things could be different for him and lighter for our family.' But Heming Willis also used the post to share some uplifting messages, and spoke about her husband's presence in the lives of their children; she and the actor share two daughters, in addition to his three daughters with Moore. 'What Bruce teaches our girls goes far beyond words,' she said. 'Resilience, unconditional love, and the quiet strength in simply being present.' Heming Willis ended the post on an uplifting note, encouraging readers to celebrate the fathers in their own lives. 'As they say in our FTD community, 'It is what it is.' And while that might sound dismissive, to me, it's not,' she concluded. 'It grounds me. It helps me return to the acceptance of what is and not fight this every step of the way like I used to. Today, let's celebrate the badass dads, those who are here, and those we carry with us.' Brianne Howey Kept Running Into Matt Ziering Before They Started Dating

Ginny & Georgia star Brianne Howey plays a woman who faces wild challenges in life and in love. But in real life, she has been with her husband, Matt Ziering, for over a decade. The lawyer has been a steadfast partner all these years as Howey built up her career and they now share one child together. Here's everything to know about Matt Ziering and his relationship with Howey so far. Ziering is originally from Los Angeles and attended Loyola Marymount Law School. He went on to work as a lawyer, passing the bar in 2017. Per his X account, Ziering loves sports, especially baseball, and follows the St. Louis Cardinals, Cleveland Guardians, Philadelphia Phillies, and the L.A. Dodgers. He and Howey share a dog named Bodie, whom they adopted when their wedding in 2020 was canceled due to the pandemic. Howey told Los Angeles magazine in 2021, 'We couldn't get married in 2020, but we did get a dog.' Ziering and Howie love dressing up for Halloween, and Bodie is often included. They also love traveling together. Ziering's Instagram is private, but Howey often posts shots from their trips. The couple had mutual friends in Los Angeles, and Howey told Los Angeles magazine, 'We ran into each other three nights in a row at a couple bars in L.A.' During a June 2025 appearance on Jenna and Friends, Howey called the run-in a 'coincidence' and 'fate,' before sharing that Ziering admitted in his vows that he called around to find out where she might be a few of those nights. In November 2014, Howey revealed she was seeing someone in an interview with Complex, but didn't identify him. 'I live with my boyfriend, and we see lots of movies,' she shared. 'I love going to farmer's markets; they're my favorite thing in the world. I just think they're so fun; you get little samples, and you can buy flowers and fruit and stuff. And, because I'm from L.A., I spend a lot of time with my family. Luckily I get to see them all the time.' They were married in July 2021 after plans for their ceremony were canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19. After the ceremony, held in a backyard garden in Palos Verdes, California, Howey told People, 'It was the most beautiful feeling to be surrounded by so many people we love. The night was more magical than I could have ever imagined. I wish all of my nights could end with a Son of a Gun fried chicken sandwich and a Spice Girls dance party.' Howey revealed she was expecting in March 2023, with a picture of herself in a body-hugging Hugo dress. She and Ziering welcomed their first child in June 2023. In a post on June 18, Howey wrote, 'My whole world just got a whole lot sweeter. And smaller. Welcome my little love 💛.' Howey sometimes shares photos from their family life together, including more group costumes for Halloween.
