Jordan Chiles 'finally' feels good about her skin

Perth Now06-06-2025

Jordan Chiles has taken 22 years to "embrace" her complexion.
The 24-year-old gymnast has suffered from acne in the past but she feels a lot more positive about her skin these days.
She told Refinery29: 'I have [acne] scars here and there, but now I'm finally at a point where I'm positive with myself and my skin.
'Literally, it took me 22 years to finally be like, look, Jordan, you're a gorgeous girl. You have beautiful skin. Embrace that.'
The Olympian tries to keep her routine simple when it comes to looking after her sensitive skin.
She said: 'A majority of the time, I only use a good cleanser, an exfoliator, and then a nice, silky moisturiser.
'I keep it very simple, but make sure everything is hydrated and my skin looks good and glowy.'
Jordan is the new face of Hero Cosmetics and she's a huge fan of their Mighty Patch hydrocolloid stickers.
She said: 'People always ask me, 'What do you do for your skincare?' So I was really happy Hero wanted me to be one of their ambassadors. Whether it's dark spots or a pimple that's coming up and I want it gone, I've always loved Mighty Patch...
"I have Mighty Patches in every bag, my car, my room, and probably in five different bathrooms."
Asked her favourites, she replied: 'Literally all of them, but since I go to practice a lot, [I love] the invisible ones and the dark spot ones with the prickly points.'
And Jordan also loves Hero's Pore Purity Cleansing Clay Mask, which features sea clay and sea kelp bio-ferment to decongest skin.
She said: 'It makes my face so soft — I love it. I've been recently using it two to three times a week to get my pores in the right way and all that stuff.'
When she is competing, Jordan hasn't been afraid to be "glam" with nail art and fluttery lashes firm features of her look.
She said: 'My older sister, who is my hair and makeup artist, definitely gave me a perspective of understanding that glam is something to enjoy, have fun with, and be creative."

Jordan Stephens is 'super in love' with Jade Thirlwall

Jordan Stephens and Jade Thirlwall are still "super in love" after five years together. The Rizzle Kicks star has opened up about his relationship with former Little Mix singer revealing they are still incredibly happy together after they started dating back in 2020. He told The Times newspaper: "I've been with my girlfriend, Jade, for five years and we are super in love. She's solo now but she was in Little Mix ... My mum obviously loves her too." Jordan also opened up about his past battles with drug abuse revealing he's been sober since 2018 and now he treats himself to a pastry if he's feeling down instead of turning to illegal substances like he did after shooting to fame as a teenager. He said: "Becoming famous so suddenly at 19 was a shock. It was positive in a hedonistic way but I wish I could have felt more present ... "I went sober in 2018. I was heartbroken; I had cheated and my relationship was over. I spoke to my mum about having suicidal thoughts ... " He added: "Now if I'm going through something my spirals are filled with croissants not cocaine." Jordan has been supporting Jade since she launched a solo music career after Little Mix parted ways, and she gave him a special mention when she accepted her first solo BRIT Award earlier this year. Jade has previous credited the musician with being her biggest supporter as he helps her whenever she has feelings of self doubt. According to The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column, Jade said: "Something that Jordan taught me, whenever I'm feeling anxious or my self-saboteur is coming out, Jordan is always like, 'Just think of Little Jade, and look at what you've achieved. "'Little Jade from South Shields has done this? That's crazy'. That's always stuck with me. I have words of affirmation in my bedroom and one of them says, 'Little Jade is really proud of you'. "Any time I feel like s*** that really gets me through." Jade explained that Jordan's words of encouragement have helped her just as much as self-help books. She said: "I feel like you read every self-help book, you have therapy, you speak to people but sometimes you forget about yourself. "You forget that there was a little version of yourself and if they were watching what you've done with your life now they would be like, 'Oh my gosh, I never thought I could achieve this'."

Blake Lively and Taylor Swift's texts declared 'relevant' to Justin Baldoni lawsuit

Justin Baldoni's legal team will have access to messages between Blake Lively and Taylor Swift. The 37-year-old actress is suing her It Ends With Us co-star for harassment and accusing the director of creating a hostile work environment on set, which he has denied, while his countersuit accusing Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds of defamation was recently dismissed by Judge Lewis L. Liman. Now, E! News has reported that the New York judge has ruled texts between Lively and her friend are "relevant" to the case. However, any correspondence between the pair will be under a protective order to stop them being leaked to the press. In an order filed on Wednesday (18.06.25), the judge wrote: "Lively herself has identified Swift as someone likely to have knowledge about complaints or discussions regarding the working environment on the set of It Ends With Us. "Given that Lively has represented that Swift had knowledge of complaints or discussions about the working environment on the film, among other issues, the requests for messages with Swift regarding the film and this action are reasonably tailored to discover information that would prove or disprove Lively's harassment and retaliation claims." Baldoni and his team had previously tried to subpoena Swift, as he alleged she was used by Lively to gain more creative control over It Ends With Us. The Anti-Hero hitmaker's spokesperson claimed at the time that she was "not involved in any casting or creative decisions", and the order was withdrawn by Baldoni's attorneys. Although his countersuit was dismissed, it was noted Baldoni's legal team have until June 23 to amend claims of breach of implied contract and tortious interference with contract, if they want to. His attorney Bryan Freedman has stressed they still have things to fight for and will be amending their complaint. He told Us Weekly in a statement: 'While the Court dismissed the defamation-related claims, the Court has invited us to amend four out of the seven claims against Ms. Lively, which will showcase additional evidence and refined allegations. "This case is about false accusations of sexual harassment and retaliation and a nonexistent smear campaign, which Ms. Lively's own team conveniently describes as 'untraceable' because they cannot prove what never happened.' Following the judge's ruling, Blake vowed to keep fighting for other women. She wrote on Instagram: "Like so many others, I've felt the pain of a retaliatory lawsuit, including the manufactured shame that tries to break us. "While the suit against me was defeated, so many don't have the resources to fight back. "I'm more resolved than ever to continue to stand for every woman's right to have a voice in protecting themselves, including their safety, their integrity, their dignity and their story."
