
Infinity Tower nears completion with over 70% construction progress and investments exceeding EGP 4.9bln
Infinity Towers for Urban Development has announced the latest progress on its flagship project, Infinity Tower, a fully integrated real estate development located in the heart of the Central Business District (CBD) of Egypt's New Administrative Capital. The project stands as a benchmark for commercial and administrative developments in the Egyptian market.
Representing a strategic investment with a total value exceeding EGP 4.9 billion, the tower is designed in accordance with top-tier international standards in architectural engineering and smart technologies. It offers a modern and fully integrated work environment tailored to meet the expectations of both local and international business communities. Rising to a height of 200 meters with 31 floors, Infinity Tower is the tallest administrative and commercial building in Egypt and the fifth tallest in Africa.
According to the implementation plan, more than 70% of construction work was completed by mid-2024, with notable progress made in interior finishing phases.
The project plays a key role in supporting Egypt's economy by creating a variety of job opportunities. During its construction phase, it has generated approximately 150 direct jobs and 450 indirect jobs. Upon full operation, it is expected to provide around 3,000 permanent job opportunities, highlighting the long-term positive economic impact of the development.

DP World Egypt receives LNG vessel, iron ore shipment
DP World Egypt announced that it received a Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU), the country's largest iron ore shipment and the Aroya cruise ship this month at its Ain Sokhna Port, showcasing its ability to manage diverse vessel types while advancing Egypt's trade, energy and tourism goals. Energos Eskimo, a Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) operated by New Fortress Energy (NFE), docked at the Sokhna facility for a series of specialised technical upgrades, including modifications to its high-pressure gas manifold in preparation for its forthcoming call at SUMED Port, where it will begin injecting natural gas into Egypt's national grid. The Port also welcomed the Berge Kuju, a 300-metre dry bulk vessel arriving from Brazil with 180,008 tonnes of iron ore destined for Ezz Steel, marking the largest iron ore shipment ever received at an Egyptian port. The delivery forms part of a long-term strategic agreement and supports more than 6 million tonnes of annual iron ore throughput at Sokhna. Sokhna Port also welcomed the Aroya cruise ship with 2,300 passengers, on its second scheduled visit under an annual agreement with Cruise Saudi. USD/EGP exchange rates edge up at Egyptian banks on mid-Wednesday
Arab Finance: The exchange rate of the US dollar to Egyptian pound registered EGP 50.2 for buying and EGP 50.3 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) at 11:11 AM. The exchange rate went up, recording EGP 50.44 for purchasing and EGP 50.54 for selling at Banque Misr at 10:54 AM.
