Television power couple
Ravi Dubey and
Sargun Mehta
have recently upgraded to a luxurious residence in the upscale Bandra West area of Mumbai. The duo has taken on lease an entire floor in the elite
Freeda One building
, one of the city's most sought-after and high-end residential addresses.
Interestingly, this prestigious building was once owned by Bollywood icon Aamir Khan, according to a report by
Bollywood Shaadis.
As per a News 18 report, the lease agreement spans a period of five years, and the cost reflects the premium nature of the property. In the first year alone, they are set to pay a staggering monthly rent of Rs 11 lakh. The rent will continue to rise incrementally with each passing year: Rs 11.55 lakh in the second year, Rs 12.12 lakh in the third, Rs 12.73 lakh in the fourth, and Rs 13.37 lakh in the fifth year. In addition to this steep rental outlay, the couple has also handed over a security deposit of Rs 80 lakh, reinforcing the high-profile nature of their move.
Their new residence places them in elite company. Freeda One is also home to notable figures such as Indian cricketer KL Rahul, seasoned actor Jackie Shroff, and prominent businessman Yash Goenka, making it a hotspot for celebrities and influential personalities.
Outside her professional life, Sargun Mehta recently opened up during a conversation with a former student of Kirori Mal College, her alma mater under Delhi University. She fondly recalled her time at DU, sharing memories of living on humble meals like rajma chawal, spending countless hours in the auditorium, and often skipping her lectures. She humorously mentioned having no connection whatsoever with the library. Sargun also spoke about the bond she shared with one of her professors, Keval, highlighting how certain college relationships remain etched in memory.
Academically, Mehta holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University. She had initially enrolled in an MBA course post-graduation but chose to leave it midway to pursue a career in acting. Her entry into the entertainment world began in 2009 with the television show 12/24 Karol Bagh, a family drama that marked her acting debut.
Over the years, Sargun Mehta has carved a prominent space for herself in both television and Punjabi cinema. Her performances in films like Angrej, Qismat, Kala Shah Kala, and Saunkan Saunkne have cemented her status as a leading actor in the industry. Most recently, she appeared in two Punjabi films—Sidhus Of Southall and Jatt Nuu Chudail Takri, continuing her successful run on screen.

Revisit Gangs of Wasseypur with these 7 Nawazuddin Siddiqui dialogues

It's been 13 years since Gangs of Wasseypur stormed Indian cinema with its gritty realism, unforgettable characters, and razor-sharp dialogues. At the heart of the saga was Nawazuddin Siddiqui's legendary performance as Faizal Khan, a reluctant heir who transforms into a feared gangster. His quiet intensity and perfectly timed delivery gave us some of the most iconic lines in Indian film history. Here's a look at 7 of his most memorable dialogues: 1. 'Baap ka badla lene ke liye, Faizal Khan ban gaya main.' – A declaration of transformation. This line marked the beginning of Faizal's journey from stoner to don. 2. 'Pehle cigarette peeta tha, ab ganja bhi peene laga hoon… Sardar Khan ka beta hoon.' – A darkly comic reminder of his legacy and inner turmoil, delivered with signature deadpan charm. 3. 'Tum log sirf maarte ho, hum log kehte hain aur maarte hain.' – A chilling flex of power and style, setting Faizal apart from his enemies. 4. 'Tum logon ko kya lagta hai, Sardar Khan ka beta kuch nahi karega?' – The underdog's roar. This line signaled that Faizal was no longer in anyone's shadow. 5. 'Duniya ko sabak sikhana hai… ke Faizal Khan zinda hai.' – Vengeance with swagger. A mic-drop moment that lingers long after the credits roll. 6. 'Zyada bolne wale mar jaate hain, chup rehne wale badla lete hain.' – A line that perfectly captures the philosophy of survival in Wasseypur. 7. 'Ghar mein sab mujhe nalayak samajhte hain… lekin asli game abhi shuru hoga.' – From overlooked to unstoppable — Faizal Khan's legacy, summed up. Nawazuddin Siddiqui didn't just play Faizal Khan. He became him and these lines are proof of that unforgettable transformation. On the workfront Nawazuddin Siddiqui will next be seen in I am not an actor, Raat Akeli Hai 2 and Indian adaptation of House

Maha: SRK's office assures to submit relevant documents regarding renovation of actor's bungalow in Mumbai

Mumbai, June 22 (UNI) Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's office has assured the civic and the Maharashtra government officials that they will submit all relevant documents regarding renovation of actor's 'Mannat' bungalow in Bandra suburb of Mumbai, sources said here on Sunday. Acting on a complaint, the officials had reportedly conducted an inspection of the bungalow to verify if any construction had been undertaken without necessary permissions. A senior official said, "Our team inspected the site after receiving a complaint. The staff at the bungalow informed us that they required permissions from the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) and would submit them to the concerned authorities. So, we will wait for their reply and our report will be ready by next week." The officials of H West ward's Building and Factory department and the Building Proposal department were also part of the inspection team. It may be recalled that on June 20, the Mumbai's civic body BMC and Forest department officials had conducted an inspection of the bungalow following a complaint of alleged violation of Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) norms. According to the media report, actor's manager, Pooja Dadlani, had refuted reports of complaints and asserted that all work is going on as per guidelines. The inspection was conducted to assess whether any renovation or expansion activity around the property had breached CRZ guidelines, which are intended to prevent unauthorised development in environmentally sensitive coastal areas. While the renovation at Mannat is underway, the actor, along with his family Gauri Khan, Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan, has moved to lavish duplex apartments in Pali Hill. Reportedly, he pays a monthly rent of Rs 24.15 lakh for both the apartments combined, amounting to an annual rent of Rs 2.90 crore. UNI AAA SS
