‘Aaja Meri Frame Mein': Bhuvan Bam Drags Munawar Faruqui At First Copy Event

During the special screening of First Copy, Munawar Faruqui was joined by some of his close friends from the industry, including BB ki Vines star Bhuvan Bam.
Munawar Faruqui, who rose to fame after Bigg Boss 17, is all set to make his OTT debut with First Copy, created by Farhan P Zamma. Set in the 1990s, the series explores the era's love for movies and the growing concern of piracy that troubled the film industry. A special screening of the show was recently held, where Munawar was joined by close industry friends, including YouTube star Bhuvan Bam.
A paparazzi video from the event has been winning hearts online. In it, Bhuvan is seen stepping onto the red carpet and calling Munawar to join him. Initially hesitant, Munawar is pulled in by Bhuvanxq and the two pose together for the cameras. Their candid laughs and friendly bond before leaving the red carpet have been getting lots of love from fans.

As per Amazon, talking about his character, Munawar Faruqui said, 'First Copy is that underdog story and extremely special to me as it marks my acting debut in a series. Playing the role of Arif was an interesting challenge; he's full of life and has his flaws, but is someone with big dreams. Growing up, films were a huge part of my world, and this story took me back to those days. It's a mix of nostalgia, hustle, and emotion, and I'm excited for the audience to see this new side of me."
According to the official synopsis, 'Arif, a spirited young man whose magnetic charm and street-smart instinct lead him to a world where film dreams are copied, consumed, and capitalised. As ambitions grow, so do the emotional costs. First Copy is set against a cultural landscape that reflects real issues of accessibility, nostalgia, and the value of original creation. In an age where digital consumption is reshaping entertainment, the series offers a reflection on why supporting legal, creator-first content matters more than ever."
Other than Munawar Faruqui, First Copy also stars Krystle D'Souza, Gulshan Grover, Saqib Ayub, Ashi Singh, Meiyang Chang, Inam Ul Haq and Raza Murad. The show starts streaming on June 20 on Amazon MX Player for free.
