Originally, the Exynos 2500 was meant to debut inside the Galaxy S25. But behind the scenes, Samsung reportedly hit issues with die yields at its foundry, which forced a last-minute switch to Snapdragon and cost the company a lot of money.
So, while the Flip 7 might not have been the first choice for this chip, it is now carrying the torch. And in many ways, the Exynos 2500 isn't just another processor – it is Samsung doubling down on its long-term semiconductor game.
We will have to wait for the real-world results, of course. But if the Exynos 2500 delivers, it could mark the start of a full-blown Exynos revival – maybe even back in the Galaxy S26 lineup next year.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 prices leak ahead of launch
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and the Z Flip7 are reportedly just around the corner, so retailers are getting ready for the market release and putting up some preliminary listings. However, in order to prevent leaks, Samsung has started using codenames for its devices. Listings from an Italian retailer Unfortunately for Samsung, that didn't prevent NieuweMobiel from identifying the Galaxy Z Fold7 and the Z Flip7 on an Italian website, showing the prices for the 256 and 512GB versions of the Z Fold7 and the 512GB Z Flip7 configuration. According to the listings, the Galaxy Z Fold7, codenamed Q7, will go for €2,227 in Italy and €2,309 for the beefier 512GB variant. Those prices include a 22% VAT in Italy. That's a hefty €200 increase for both storage options. The Z Flip7, codenamed B7, on the other hand, sees an around €100 hike for the 512GB flavor. Although this seems like a solid leak, we take this sort of info with a healthy dose of skepticism. The price hikes seem a bit drastic, especially for the Z Fold7.
