2025 Honda XL750 Transalp launched
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2025 XL750 Transalp, enhancing its range of adventure motorcycles. With a price tag of ₹ 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurugram), the XL750 Transalp will be available for purchase at Honda's BigWing dealerships, and customer deliveries are set to commence in July 2025.

Mercedes-Benz India has introduced a limited-production variant of its premier electric sedan, the EQS 580 4MATIC 'Celebration Edition', priced at ₹ 1.30 crore, ex-showroom. This edition, limited to just 50 units, signifies the growing popularity of the EQS series in India and the brand's increasing market share in the luxury battery electric vehicle (BEV) sector.
The company has reported a remarkable 73 percent increase in its battery electric vehicle sales up to May 2025. This launch is part of Mercedes-Benz's strategy to enhance its retail footprint in India, which includes the inauguration of four new luxury retail showrooms in key cities across the country.

The Citroen C3 Sport Edition has officially been introduced in India, starting at a price of ₹ 6.44 lakh ex-showroom. With a limited number of units available, this edition enhances the features of the standard C3, providing a combination of striking aesthetics, functional accessories, and a fresh exterior color.
Aimed at a more dynamic audience, the Sport Edition is tailored for a new generation of drivers who appreciate uniqueness and sporty design. The Citroen C3 Sport Edition is available at a price that is ₹ 21,000 higher than the standard variants. Additionally, the manufacturer is offering a Tech Kit, which includes a dashcam and a wireless charger, for an extra ₹ 15,000.

Stakeholders gather at UPSIDA-CII meeting on logistics & supply chain
The Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organised Uttar Pradesh Logistics and Supply Chain Summit-2025 in Noida on Friday. The summit focused on future strategies, investment, opportunities, and digital transformation in the logistics and supply chain sector, said a statement. The event brought together stakeholders from logistics, multimodal infrastructure, and supply chain sectors, including industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators. Mayur Maheshwari, CEO of UPSIDA, said Uttar Pradesh is transitioning from traditional e-commerce to mobile commerce (m-commerce). Pranay S Garg, MD of Advance Valves and former chairman of CII Western UP Zonal Council, mentioned that India's logistics and transportation sector is poised for large-scale growth. He estimated that by 2050, logistics demand would reach 15.6 trillion ton-km, necessitating deep coordination between the government, industry and service providers. Mahesh Munjal, chairman of CII Western UP Zonal Council, said that supply chains and logistics are no longer limited to transactional roles — they are now strategic pillars of business success in a highly competitive environment. Under the Industrial Investment & Employment Promotion Policy 2022, the UP government is encouraging private sector participation in developing industrial parks. Investors can now establish parks on their own land and receive various incentives, said the statement.

Gujarat CM Patel grants approval for fund allocation for various public utility enhancement works
Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India], June 20 (ANI): Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Friday gave in-principle approval to allocate a total of Rs 3394.55 crore to three newly formed municipal corporations, Surat Municipal Corporation, and two municipalities for various public utility enhancement works in the state's cities and metropolitan areas. According to an official release, as part of Urban Development Year-2025, the Chief Minister has granted approval for the allocation of funds under Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana. This allocation encompasses projects pertaining to outgrowth development, initiatives highlighting distinctive identity, and comprehensive infrastructural development works. For this purpose, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has approved Rs 3263 crore to Surat Municipal Corporation for physical infrastructure development, social infrastructure development, urban mobility, unique identity projects, and outgrowth area development. In various zones and outgrowth areas of Surat Municipal Corporation, this amount will be used for infrastructure development works including storm drainage, water supply, tertiary treatment and recycling, lighting and energy efficiency, and solid waste management. Additionally, under Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana, the Chief Minister has also given in-principle approval for Rs 66.94 crore worth of works for outgrowth area development. Under this approval by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Rs 17 crore has been sanctioned for 35 works in the outgrowth areas of Nadiad Municipal Corporation, including street lighting, public toilet renovation, city civic center, parks and gardens, and lake development. In the outgrowth area of Anand Municipal Corporation, Rs 17 crore has been allocated for a total of 9 works, including a new water tank, link roads, and storm drainage. Moreover, Rs 28 crore has been approved for six water supply projects in the outgrowth area of Surendranagar Municipal Corporation. The two municipalities of the state -- Bharuch and Songadh -- have also been sanctioned funds for outgrowth area projects including water tanks, rising main pipelines, and street lighting. Accordingly, Rs 3.99 crore will be allocated to Songadh Municipality and Rs 0.95 crore to Bharuch Municipality. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has approved the allocation of Rs 35 crore for three key projects under initiatives aimed at establishing the unique identity of towns and cities. These include: Phase-1 of the Wadhwan Heritage City development covering Dholi Pol and the fort wall; the Havamahal Heritage Development within Surendranagar Municipal Corporation limits; and Phase-1 of the Zalawas Heritage Memorial and Museum. The newly formed Nadiad Municipal Corporation has also been sanctioned Rs 30 crore by the Chief Minister for similar unique identity projects. With this fund, works will be undertaken in Nadiad including Ipcowala Hall and campus development, stepwell restoration, heritage paths and gantry development, as well as the construction of a community hall with an open party plot and museum. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the celebration of Urban Development Year 2025 in the state, coupled with the allocation of funds for these development works, will lead to a higher Happiness Index in towns and cities. This initiative will also realise the approach of 'Earning Well, Living Well'. (ANI)
