A video which captured Reem's response when the photographers asked her about the horrifying incident immediately went viral on the Internet, prompting netizens to call her 'ignorant."
In the video, the paparazzi asked Reem, 'Ma'am kal ke baare mein kya bolenge (What would you like to say about yesterday)?".
Totally unaware, the actress replied with a smile on her face, 'Kyu, kal kya hua tha? (Why, what happened yesterday)?", leaving everyone surprised.

Later, when the photographers mentioned that they were talking about the Ahmedabad plane crash, Reem, without answering, quietly walked away. It needs to be noted that Reem had shared a post on Instagram stories, expressing her concern after the tragic plane crash. Soon after the video caught netizens' attention, users began criticising her for her ignorance, with some even calling her 'fake."
One of the viewers commented, 'She tries to act all cute. But she is not at all cute."
