Ralph Fiennes warns new Voldemort in Harry Potter TV series of danger

After playing the role of Voldemort for five films between 2005 and 2011, Ralph Fiennes is bound to have some valuable advice for whoever plays the 'Dark Lord' in the upcoming Harry Potter TV adaptation. Fresh off of the success of Conclave, the three-time Oscar-nominated actor is receiving high praise for his latest film 28 Years Later. But it is his previous turn as He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named in the film adaptations of JK Rowling's book series that is drawing particular attention. So far, HBO's TV reboot of Harry Potter has confirmed some of the biggest names in Hollywood – including the likes of John Lithgow, Paapa Essiedu, Janet McTeer, and Nick Frost. Meanwhile, newcomers Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, and Alastair Stout will be playing Harry, Hermione, and Ron, respectively. But while the role of Voldemort has not yet been cast, Fiennes still has some words of wisdom for whoever chooses to play him. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 62-year-old said: 'Make sure you can handle the long, flowing robes, and don't trip over them. Practice your long, flowing robe walk.' Fiennes went on to explain how his tights, which were one piece that had a gusset, 'kept getting lower and lower throughout the shooting day and became uncomfortable'. He then said he requested 'individual tights like a garter belt' so that he could tease the stunt guys 'by lifting up my robes and showing them my garter belt'. Our TV reporter Milo Pope shares his thoughts on some of the names rumoured for the part of Voldemort… It has now been two years since HBO announced it was rebooting Harry Potter in the form of a TV series, but the wave of public opinion against it in the wake of JK Rowling's offensive comments on trans people has not weakened in the slightest. The decision is clear for any actor who decides to take part – you are going to receive backlash. Even the most loyal Harry Potter fans in the world are revealing that they are going to boycott this series. It's inescapabale. For that reason alone, to take such a high-profile role such as Voldemort, it is a poisoned chalice. But beyond that, to try and fill the shoes of Ralph Fiennes who was iconic as He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, it becomes an even more difficult task. If HBO manage to land two high-calibre actors such as Cillian Murphy or Tom Hiddleston, it could massively help the PR behind the show. But in my mind, I'm not sure either of those are willing to risk their name. Fiennes played Voldemort for five Harry Potter films, making his debut in 2005's Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The actor went on to play the villain for the rest of the film series, which ended in 2011 with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2. Fiennes was previously asked to address speculation over whether Cillian Murphy would take over the role during an interview on Watch What Happens Live. He said: 'Cillian is a fantastic actor. That's a wonderful suggestion. I would be all in favor of Cillian. Yeah.' More Trending Despite his blessing, British actor Tom Hiddleston is said to be the leading contender for the spot. This comes after fans recently spotted a major problem following the casting of Bel Powley and Daniel Rigby who are playing Harry's aunt and uncle, Petunia and Vernon Dursley. A number of people online thought that the pair were too young to play the Harry's last living relatives. Got a story? Dina Broadhurst steps out in skin-tight activewear as meets up with her ex Tony Benjamin in Bondi - after their dramatic romance made headlines

She was once at the centre of one of Sydney 's most talked-about love triangles. And on Thursday, glamorous 'nude' artist and model Dina Broadhurst was spotted reconnecting with her ex-boyfriend Tony Benjamin during a low-key meet-up in Bondi. The pair, who made headlines in 2023 when their steamy romance came to light, appeared relaxed and at ease as they enjoyed coffee and conversation in the winter sunshine before hitting Body by Berner for a Pilates session. Dina, 46, showed off her enviable figure in a fitted pair of black leggings and a cropped brown ribbed tank top. She layered her outfit with an oversized navy knit cardigan, which she wore off her shoulders for part of the outing. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Accessorising with oversized sunglasses and a pair of beige Yeezy slides, the social media star looked effortlessly chic as she strolled across the street clutching a takeaway coffee and what appeared to be a breakfast wrap. Tony, meanwhile, kept things casual in a dark sweatshirt and shorts paired with neon-accented sneakers as he laughed and chatted with Dina outside the popular local café. At one point, the former couple were seen sharing a hearty laugh, with Dina beaming as she leaned across the table. Later, they left the café together and appeared deep in conversation. Their public reunion is sure to raise eyebrows among fans who remember their tumultuous history. Dina and Tony were first linked in early 2023, with the pair quickly becoming fixtures on Sydney's social scene. However, their whirlwind romance took a dramatic turn just months later when it was revealed Tony had split from his wife, Shannon Benjamin, following his relationship with the Bondi-based artist. The saga sparked a wave of headlines, with sources close to the couple claiming the relationship had 'fizzled out' just as quickly as it began. However, she kept mum about her relationship status, never confirming whether she had rekindled things with her former flame. The high-society beauty has been romantically linked to some of Sydney's richest and most powerful men, but Dina doesn't like to be tied down these days. Most recently, she was once again spotted cosying up to John Winning Jr., known to his friends as Herman. In a huge love life twist, the pair were recently spotted on a double date in Coogee with cricketer Michael Clarke and his girlfriend Arabella Sherborne, the exclusive details of which were revealed by Mail+. Their shock outing came after Dina was also romantically tied to her boy toy Kengi - a former Love Island star who is, at 23, less than half her age. The pair secretly linked up in Paris, with Dina doing her best to keep him hidden from the public eye. But after Daily Mail Australia revealed their secret tryst, she began sharing steamy snaps online from their five-star Parisian love nest. Accessorising with oversized sunglasses and a pair of beige Yeezy slides, the social media star looked effortlessly chic as she strolled across the street clutching a takeaway coffee and what appeared to be a breakfast wrap The saga sparked a wave of headlines, with sources close to the couple claiming the relationship had 'fizzled out' just as quickly as it began However, upon her return to Australia, Dina sought comfort in the arms of ex-boyfriend John Jr., sparking speculation about whether they were back together. Dina and Kengi shacked up at the five-star Hotel Costes and tried to keep a lid on their romance to start with, only dropping a few hints by sharing photos from the same locations. But one of Dina's holiday snaps gave the game away: the back of Kengi's head was featured in a photo taken at the Louvre. Her fling with Kengi followed her blink-and-you'll-miss-it trip to Chile for some fun with John Jr., who seems to be her go-to on-again-off-again boyfriend. She and John Jr. originally began dating in March last year, but they broke up in early December on the morning of the wedding of Bernadette Fahey and Jordan Sukkar. The pair were both expected to attend the couple's Scots College wedding, but when Dina rocked up solo, the high-profile guests knew something was amiss. Sources revealed at the time Dina came to the realisation their lifestyles were not compatible after eight months together. John Jr. is the son of appliances mogul John Winning Sr. and his family is worth an estimated $700m.

Khloé Kardashian furiously hits back at Ozempic claims after weight loss

Khloé Kardashian has spoken about her weight loss journey after facing claims she had used medication to aid her journey over the years, despite documenting her gym transformation Khloé Kardashian spoke about her major transformation after changing her whole life. The reality star who found fame on Keeping Up With The Kardashians has been documenting her journey on social media, which involves gruelling gym workouts and a complete overhaul of her diet. The 40-year-old was cruelly trolled during the early days of her career over her appearance, but she admits she was more confident. Now, though, Khloé says she has been trolled for her latest appearance, with some branding her "gross" for losing weight. It's believed that Khloé has lost around 40 pounds. ‌ "The bigger I was, I was way more confident," the mum-of-two said in the latest episode of her podcast. Khloé, who has since made a name as a philanthropist and businesswoman, went on to add: "I think because, like, what are going to say about me? I know all the things you're going to say. I would have my days that I would feel low and all of that." ‌ Speaking on her Khloé In Wonder Land podcast, she continued: "When I started my fitness journey and, like, becoming in shape, I felt such a need that I had to keep this up, like even if it wasn't for me. I felt like, 'Well, I can't get fat again, because everyone is expecting that to happen.'" Khloé commented: "It was also a different type of attention I was now receiving. And then once I got a little older, I was like, 'Wait, this is gross.' I hated that that's why I was getting more attention because I looked a certain way." Khloé stated "with ages comes wisdom," before saying: "I've learned, no matter what, I'm never going to make people happy because I was once bigger, I was thinner, and I had the same amount of people, but from different ends." Since losing weight, Khloé has been branded a "traitor", been told she's no longer herself and is "not funny anymore." Firing back at her critics, the Good American founder fumed: "I just aesthetically look a little different, or a lot different, whatever you want to say." Earlier this year, Khloé shared a string of bikini snaps with her social media followers, showcasing her slimmed-down frame but was met with cruel responses from users. "Make Khloé thick again," said one. ‌ Another penned: "I loved — and I mean loved — thick Khloe. She was my fave." "So sad she lost those sexy curves," commented a third. But while people have speculated that Khloé has used medication, including the diabetes drug Ozempic for her weight loss, she has furiously denied this. Although some people use Ozempic to aid weight loss, it is not licensed for this and should only be used by people with diabetes to aid their symptoms. Every week, Khloé works out for five days. She spends four days in the gym with her personal trainer and chooses a dedicated cardio exercise or Pilates on her fifth day. Speaking previously, the 5ft10 star said: "I do circuit training with cardio intervals, so I'm always spiking my heart rate up and down." ‌ Khloé also said in the past that she had been "overweight" for "a lot" of her life and feared she wouldn't be able to lose weight after the birth of her daughter, True. Speaking on the SHE MD podcast, she said: "I used to be overweight a lot of my life. God, I mean my weight-loss journey. It took years for me. I've always been chubby - like athletic. I've always played sports. I just was never in shape. "I was 204 [14 stone 5 lbs] when I delivered and I was like 'How am I going to do this again?' because it took so many years to do it the first time." She added that she later lost her pregnancy weight quicker than she had imagined. But it's not just her work outs that help her. While most people eat three meals a day, Khloé eats seven. She has cut out "all sodas, little by little," after experimenting with "every diet under the sun".
