
BREAKING NEWS Second child dies three weeks after minibus overturns on the M4
A second child has died almost one month after a minibus overturned on a motorway slip road.
Othniel Adoma, aged 11, died on Thursday more than three weeks after the single-vehicle crash which also took the life of a six-year-old boy, who has not been named.
The white Ford Transit minibus overturned on the exit slip road at junction 10 of the M4 eastbound, near Wokingham, on Sunday, May 11.
Five other children who were injured have now been discharged from hospital.
Police have now released several pictures of Othniel from Bracknell, Berkshire, as officers continue to investigate the crash.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Lyndsey Blackaby, of the serious collision investigation unit at Thames Valley Police, said: 'My thoughts, and the thoughts of everyone at Thames Valley Police, are with the family and friends of Othniel Adoma.
'Othniel's family has released these beautiful pictures of Othniel in his memory.
'Othniel's family has asked that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.'
South Central Ambulance Service said it was first alerted to the crash at 2.24pm, with its first units arriving at the scene eight minutes later.
Five critical care units, including two air ambulance, attended the incident along with six ambulances.
At the time, a Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: 'The M4 eastbound exit slip road onto the A329M at J10 remains closed as we deal with a major incident.
'Officers remain at the scene after a minibus overturned. This was a single vehicle collision and no arrests have been made.
'Sadly, a child died in the collision and our thoughts remain with the family who are being supported at this extremely difficult time.
'Other passengers sustained serious injuries, requiring hospital treatment.
'We would ask motorists to continue to avoid the area. Thank you.'

BREAKING NEWS Teen suffers serious leg injuries in horror hit-and-run in Maroubra, Sydney
A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Sydney 's east. Emergency services were called to Beauchamp Road in Maroubra at 4am on Saturday following reports of a pedestrian being hit by a car. Forbury Gardens fifth anniversary memorial service held
A service has been held to mark the fifth anniversary of a deadly attack in a park in which three men were killed. James Furlong, Joe Ritchie-Bennett and David Wails were fatally stabbed by Khairi Saadallah in Forbury Gardens, Reading, Berkshire, in was given a whole-life jail term for their at a memorial service attended by about 200 people, the mayor of Reading Alice Mpofu-Coles said people were "still moved" by the events of five years ago.
